Assassins Creed Shadows: How to gather oakwood?

Gathering oakwood bark can be problematic in AC Shadows, but our guide will help you solve problems with this crafting material. We have prepared information on where to look for oakwood, as well as whether the System Harvest Animus anomaly is the only way to collect it.

How to obtain Oakwood material?

1. Oakwood is one of the crafting materials. You can check the current status of this resource in the bag of any of the 2 main characters.

1. You can find Oakwood along with common loot (e.g. in regular crates), but there are ways to get it faster. The first way is completing contracts.
2. Visit the kakurega hideouts in various main provinces and check the rewards for completing them. Oakwood may be among them (100 pieces of this material in the example in the picture).

1. The second method is disassembling Yasuke's ranged weapons - you need to visit the forge in the main hideout. Read the information about how many pieces of materials you will get from disassembling a given weapon on the right side of the screen (above picture).

1. An alternative method is visiting Port Traders - it's one of the types of traders. They may sell oakwood, but unfortunately this is random.

System Harvest anomaly

1. The main use for the oakwood is to improve Yasuke's ranged weapons. This material may be among the requirements to upgrade a certain weapon.
2. The requirement to gather oakwood can also appear in Animus anomalies, i.e. time challenges. In the example from the picture, the System Harvest anomaly requires collecting 150 pieces of the material.
