AC Shadows: How to reset mastery points?

Respec, a mechanic that allows resetting previously spent skill points, is a solution implemented in many games. It often happens that you then have to pay a fee, using the in-game currency. What does it look like in Assassin's Creed Shadows? Read our guide page to learn more about how to do this.

How to respec?

In AC Shadows, you can buy skills from the skill trees using mastery points. Acquiring them is not at all easy, and skills cost quite a lot. Therefore, it may happen that you will want to recover points you have spent. Fortunately, the game gives such an option.

All you need to do is select the Mastery tab in the menu, then go to the skill tree in which you have invested mastery points and select the Reset Mastery option (Square on PS5). Remember that if you want to recover all the points spent, you have to perform this step for each skill tree.

Thanks to the existence of such an option, you don't have to be afraid to experiment with your build and change skills if you currently get a better weapon in which you haven't invested any points.
