Assassin's Creed Shadows: What are contracts?
Contracts are one of the ways to gain experience, money and resources in AC Shadows. On this page of the guide we described where to accept contracts, what they consist of and how to refresh them.
Contracts are one of many ways to gain experience, money, and resources in Assassin's Creed Shadows. They are the perfect solution if you need an immediate influx of materials or cash. On this guide page, we described where to accept contracts, what they entail, and how to refresh them.
Where to accept contracts?
You can accept contracts in kakuregas - these are miniature hideouts that also serve as fast travel points, which you must first purchase for 800 Mon from the map view. Inside a kakurega, you can replenish resources, scouts, as well as accept contracts. You can review the contracts using the small cabinet that you will find in every hideout.
What do you need to do?
Contracts are randomly generated, short quests with random rewards. Their objective could be, for example, killing all enemies in a certain area, killing a specific enemy, or stealing an item from an enemy camp. After accepting a contract, it will appear on your map - you won't have to send out scouts, the game will show you the exact place you need to go.
Once you complete a contract, you will automatically receive the reward. You will always get some XP. You will also receive an additional reward - depending on the contract, it can be a substantial amount of money, a significant amount of materials for upgrading your Hideout, or materials for upgrading equipment.
How to refresh contracts?
In every region, only 3 contracts are generated per season. After completing all of the contracts, you have to wait till the season changes or change it manually - only then will new contracts appear. In the later stage of the game, you can also move to another region - each region has different contracts, so the more regions you have unlocked, the more contracts you can complete in one season.
