Can Naoe play music instruments?

1. Naoe can play Tsuchibue: a flute made from a clay vessel. As you progress through the story, you will find out that it was her father who taught her how to play.
2. Unfortunately, you cannot play tsuchibue at any point in the game and there is no button combination for this. Instead, Naoe can take out the tsuchibue from her inventory and start playing in selected cutscenes. Additionally, during the prologue, Junjiro will help the protagonist in repairing the damaged instrument.
3. Yasuke does not have the ability to play any music instrument. In one of the shared mini-quests, Naoe can allow him to use the tsuchibue, but this will reinforce the samurai's belief that this is not his strong side.

Finding flute players

1. Other characters from the game world can use various music instruments and flute players deserve special attention. The most important flute player is Shinobu. She appears in the main hideout during the day to entertain you throughout your stay there.

1. You can look for other flute players in the game world - follow the sound of music to find the particular musician (example in the screenshot).
2. After locating the player, listen to them play, which will allow you to gain some XP. Additionally, you will unlock a new music track for Shinobu, which she will be able to play on her flute from now on.
