Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. The sixth major installment in a popular economic strategy game series, which started in the Medieval Times (1404-1701) and went all the way to the future (Anno 2070). This new title was developed by the creators of The Settlers franchise, Blue Byte Software, who took part in the development of the previous Anno game. This one lets you play as a governor of a huge futuristic metropolis, and you have to make it thrive till you can launch an expedition to the Moon.

In contrast to the aforementioned franchise, Kingdom and Castles is set in a fantasy world. You take the role of the manager of a small village which you are to develop and transform into a thriving city with a castle able to withstand enemy attacks. During gameplay, you need to gather resources necessary for putting up buildings.
Transport Fever

Transport Fever is an economic strategy by a Swiss studio, Urban Games. The previous game by this team was Train Fever, released in 2014. Contrary to that title, in Transport Fever the developers decided to offer not only land-based transport management, but aerial and marine transport as well. The goal of this game hasn't changed however - it still is about developing an efficient transport network connecting different locations, and allowing smooth transportation of goods and passengers.

This time, the players visit Far East, being given access to three new civilizations: India, China, and Japan. The single-player mode received a new campaign consisting of fifteen scenarios (five for each new nation). The new maps take place in the new geographical zone, while some of them were influenced by historic locations or events.
Star Wars: Empire At War

The action of Empire At War takes place two years before the events seen in the fourth film, with some parts of the plot invoking the story from Revenge of the Sith. The campaign consists of two phases: turn-based planning and real-time battles in three-dimensional environment.

The first one are the humanoid robots known as Necron. They are a faction of undead killing machines. The second new faction is the Tau Empire. They are technologically advanced and have remarkable skills in diplomacy.

Men of War: Vietnam

Both sides of the conflict have their separate story campaigns.

As one might easily guess, the player is tasked with ending this reign of terror and shooting the usurper down in flames.

Tzar: The Burden of the Crown takes place in a land of Keanor, which is ruled by the Dark Lord and his minions after the death of king Roan. We play as the son of the latter, prince Sartor, raised by a wizard to defeat the evil and restore his kingdom to its former glory. Gameplay takes a lot from typical RTS titles, like the classic Warcraft series.
