The first official story expansion for BioShock: Infinite, created by Irrational Games. Burial at Sea - Episode One is a nod to the fans of the first two parts of the series, for it brings the players back to one of the alternative dimensions of the underwater metropolis known as Rapture. The player is put in the shoes of Booker DeWitt, a detective whose job, at Elizabeth's request, is to find a girl named Sally - a character from the actual BioShock: Infinite. When exploring the corners of the utopian metropolis before the rebellion and eventual collapse, the protagonist discovers that the ideal city is actually very far from being a paradise. Instead, it is home to many dark secrets. The gameplay remains unchanged and is largely based on fighting big groups of enemies in fast-paced fashion. In combat, the player can choose from a variety of firearms and supernatural powers that come with the plasmids.

A multiplayer-oriented team-based action game developed by Special Operations Forces studio, an indie team established with a purpose to create the aforementioned title. Known as the spiritual successor to the SOCOM series, H-Hour: World’s Elite was inspired by classic tactical action games such as Rainbow Six or Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, placing a lot of emphasis on realism. The authors have participated in numerous training courses led by veteran soldiers, which enabled them to transfer this knowledge onto the game. Each mission begins with a briefing screen that allows us to choose the loadout of our men. Unfortunately, the choice is not that simple, considering that a heavier loadout, while being able to provide more firepower or equipment, decreases our mobility or field of vision. The game contains a full-fledged single player mode, yet the multiplayer sessions are the mainstay of the game, thanks to a special interface offering both voice-based communication and a set of visual signals. The authors also introduced a set of community tools that allows us to manage our friend lists or establish player clans.

One of them is the main protagonist of the game, Rusty. While looking for remains of human civilization, he starts a journey deep into the ground, where he looks for interesting treasures. During the game the player is traveling through caves, avoiding traps, fighting enemies, collecting minerals and making sure to always have access to light. The protagonist can use various useful tools that enable him to decide in which direction should the tunnel be dug. After filling the backpack we return to the surface and trade the minerals we've found for various goods and upgrades for the protagonist.

In the case of Space Hulk: Deathwing, the players receive a fast-paced first-person shooter created as a result of the cooperation between Cyanide (the Blood Bowl series) and Streum On Studio (E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy). The player is put in the shoes of the titular Deathwing squad's member. Deathwing is a special squad of space marines, whose goal is to eliminate insect-like aliens and liberate a huge space junkyard called Space Hulk. Mysterious artifacts and ancient technologies have been concealed here, and have now become targets of greedy space pirates and the player's main enemies alike. The player travels through dark and claustrophobic locations, and the enemies themselves can frighten with their appearances. The player makes use of both futuristic weapons and psionic powers the world of Warhammer 40.000 is popular for. The game includes a character progression system based on four skill trees. It is also worth mentioning that the game utilizes the Unreal 4 Engine, popularized by many other first-person shooters.

During the gameplay, we assume control of the last living crew member of Unity One, a vessel sent with a mission to investigate the far reaches of the galaxy. The mission ended with the discovery of an alien race that may become a threat to the whole system. The player can choose between two species, and represent one of four professions. Ambrov X is an action RPG – the gameplay focuses on completing subsequent quests and features arcade combat. Emphasis was placed on choice making and branching plot lines, as well as the unique dialogue system which bases each dialogue option on one of four paradigms.
