An indie game that combines RPG and point-and-click adventure game genres with beat 'em up elements. Sand is the Soul takes the players on a journey to CrossHill, a dark city inspired by Victorian era. Our character arrives there to deliver an important letter. It turns out that the place is filled with ancient evil. Based on our choices, the multi-threaded plot can reach one of ten endings. The gameplay in Sand is the Soul is focused on exploration. Since it is full of dangers, the player will have a lot opportunities to fight – using either melee weapons or firearms – and the battles have a rather high difficulty level. Instead of gaining experience, the players receive sand which also serves as energy and currency. However, having too much sand can lead to insanity – for example, player's character can perceive villagers as monsters.

Another story expansion for the incredibly popular free-to-play CCG, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment. The plot of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan is focused on gang wars that occur in the eponymous Gadgetzan which turned into a metropolis teeming with life thanks to rapidly-developing trade. The city’s development, apart from merchants, also brought hordes of thugs to its streets. After numerous battles between the local crime families, only the strongest three remain. The gameplay is somewhat different than what the vanilla game and the previous DLCs got us used to. The developers introduced new cards that can be used not by one but by three different classes. Moreover, there are three completely new factions (Grimy Goons, Jade Lotus, Kabal), each offering three hero classes.

The game takes place in the Horribilorum Sorcery Academy, and your task is to brew increasingly complicated potions. To succeed, you have to follow the instructions and choose the right ingredients. When you clear one of them, just like in any other match-3 game, the ones above them fall down, often diametrically changing the whole board. If two components of the same kind touch, they explode. Another obstacle is the limited capacity of the ingredients container. Potion Explosion features a single player mode, in which you play against the AI, and a multiplayer mode, in which you compete with other players. An action platform game with logical puzzles. It was developed by British studio Sumo Digital. The title is based on a prototype created by Seba Liese during a Game Jam. Snake pass tells a story about the adventures of a snake and his friend, a hummingbird. Together they must find keys to the magical gates that provide magical power to the Harmony Foothills. They are doing it in order to defeat a mysterious intruder who threatens the lives of the inhabitants of the realm. The game takes place in a three-dimensional environment and the player takes control of the aforementioned snake. The protagonist’s movement was recreated in a pretty realistic way. It means that, for example, he cannot jump, but instead he crawls along the ground, wraps around objects and swims. All of these actions must be used in order to defeat various obstacles and to find well hidden collectibles. In some situations the friendly hummingbird helps the snake by catching him by his tail and transporting to seemingly unavailable places.

The players take static positions at the opposing ends of a long hallway and try to hit the opponent with the ball using motion controllers. Being stuck in one place doesn’t mean we can’t dodge by moving our body. Because of that and the realistic physics system, the ricochets from walls, floor and ceiling play a key role in the game, as they can be used to deceive opponents and increase the chance of hitting them. Sparc has been developed with multiplayer for two players in mind. The game also offers solo options, such as training, and social aspects, e.g. virtual spectators. Action is presented from an isometric point of view and almost every element of the gameplay can be adjusted to suit our preferences. This is mainly connected with the wrestlers – in the beginning we get 30 fighters, but we can also create our own wrestlers by choosing not only their appearance but also their preferred moves (we can choose from more than 2000 attacks) and even a script that is responsible for their behavior. Additionally, we can also customize the referee that oversees fights and arenas – we can, e.g. put an electric fence or a mine field between fighters and audience. Besides classic fights we can also participate in online matches that can be played by up to four players. Fire Pro Wrestling World features somewhat cartoonish 2D graphics.

A simplistic RTS game focusing on quick multiplayer duels and employing free-to-play business model. Battle Islands: Commanders was created by the experienced DR Studios, and the game extends the formula of 2013's Battle Islands. The game simplifies the traditional RTS mechanics, but supplementing them with elements borrowed from card games and tower defense titles. Each duel is fought using the cards one has in their deck, which can be modified to one's liking. New cards can be found in chests received for victories. Cards of the same kind can be combined together to improve the firepower and durability of one's tanks and other units. Contrary to the classic RTS games, the player cannot control particular units manually - the player only chooses when and where to place a unit and the rest is done automatically, as the subordinates simply join the battle. Placing various units on the battlefield should be done with caution however, as sending a tank to a zone where the enemy has already placed a soldier with a rocket launcher will have catastrophic consequences.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Master Trials is the first expansion for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that was developed by Nintendo. It is a typical game expansion that does not introduce any major changes to gameplay mechanics. Nintendo focused on adding new content to the game and, by doing so, expanding our adventures in Hyrule. The biggest introduction that comes with the expansion is the new adventure called Trials of the Sword. It takes us to small maps where we do not have access to our previously gathered equipment and have to fight off waves of enemies. We get new pieces of equipment and useful items by defeating our enemies and exploring our surroundings. Doing so will prepare us for fights with more powerful opponents. Master Trials also introduces a new difficulty level called Master Mode. In terms of new items, this add-on introduces one new mask and eight armor sets.

A refreshed version of a successful survival horror that came out in 2015. The Coma: Recut is set in the Sehwa high-school in South Korea. Youngho, the main protagonist, having spent the entire night studying, falls asleep during an exam. Once awake, Youngho realizes that he is alone in the classroom and it is already dark outside. However, the true nightmare begins when it turns out that the school is overrun by monsters and an insane killer is walking its hallways. Because Youngho is unarmed, in order to survive, he has to avoid contact with enemies, hide from them, or run when it is necessary. Exploring the school buildings in search for an exit constitutes the core element of the experience. On his way, the protagonist gathers useful items, such as a flashlight, maps or notes. From time to time, Youngho has to cooperate with other students in order to solve different puzzles. Compared with the original edition, The Coma: Recut offers more detailed textures and new character animations.
