A real-time strategy game enriched with action elements and created by Mechabit - an independent developer. After a huge meteorite hits the Earth, powerful, extremely aggressive monsters spread across the globe. Apart from unimaginable scale of destruction in the largest cities, the monsters cause natural disasters and weather anomalies. The player assumes command over a rescue team and their goal is to both help the survivors and fight the titular Kaiju. Thus the player explores subsequent maps, helps the locals and builds defensive structures capable of stopping waves of approaching monsters. Since particular kinds of Kaiju differ in their specifics and weapons they are more vulnerable to, the player has to make use of plenty of upgrades granting more and more powerful weaponry and gadgets. Alongside progression, the player expands the in-game bestiary which contains descriptions of particular monster species. Kaiju Panic comes with simplistic old-school visuals.

Overland is a survival strategy game developed by Finji. The game takes place in a not-so-distant future where an unspecified cataclysm devastated the North American continent. We lead an constantly changing group of survivors who, traveling by car, are trying to reach their destination. Gameplay focuses on survival. We will be forced to make many difficult decisions as we play. We will also have to find a way to deal with the constant shortages of gas, ammunition, and supplies, but monsters that hunt their prey with their hearing are the biggest threat we will have to face. The game is presented through a series of turn-based events that take place on small areas covered with square grid. During each turn we will have the opportunity to give orders like moving, starting a campfire, resting, looting the area, and fighting.

A turn-based strategy game, developed by The Headquarter – a Spanish studio known for Espana 1936. This time, the authors enable us to take part in the Thirty Years’ War, a 17th century conflict between Protestant countries of the Holy Roman Empire, supported by other European nations (e.g. Sweden, Denmark, France, Scotland, or England) and the coalition led by Catholic Habsburg dynasty. 30 Years’ War allows us to join either Protestants or Catholics, and take part in the war for domination over The Old Continent, recreating the crucial moments of the conflict. When it comes to mechanics, we are left with a complex, old-school strategy game, employing a simultaneously-executed turn system, and placing a lot of emphasis on faithful recreation of 17th century Europe and its style of conducting warfare. During the game, our mind is preoccupied not only with warfare, but also with conscripting armies and our country’s economy and diplomacy.

Another installment in the popular farming simulator series, also known as Agrar Simulator. The general gameplay mechanics remain the same, while the game is still divided into simulation and economic parts. In the former, we personally engage in various farming activities, such as field reclamation, animal breeding, crop production, planting trees, and harvesting, using a wide variety of agricultural machines. The money we earn is invested into development of our farm, namely: expanding its infrastructure, hiring employees, and purchasing additional equipment. The realistically modeled calendar of farming work as well as occasionally occurring random problems and obstacles play important roles in the game. In addition, the visuals were enhanced, especially since Professional Farmer 2016 is the first installment of the series to be released on consoles.

An unusual logic game developed by a Polish studio Paplus International. The developers were inspired by the popular Monument Valley. The plot of Ghost of Memories tells the story of a lone adventurer who acquires an ancient scepter during one of his travels. The artifact speaks with the voice of a woman trapped inside the scepter’s head. She offers to unlock the powers dormant in the item if the hero decides to free her. Thanks to its power, the traveler can manipulate reality and create inter-dimensional portals, which help him face encountered difficulties and various traps. During the game, we observe the situation from an isometric view, while the player focuses on solving environmental riddles that involve various mechanisms and physical phenomenon, such as optical illusions. The developers prepared a relatively small selection of levels (15 available); however the level of detail and advancement of the encountered puzzles should outweigh even this downside.

The player is taken to a large post-apocalyptic world filled with dangers, where he and other users are trying to survive. The path to victory leads through wise strategy, seeking water and food and through crafting needed items. What makes the title original is a unique system of permanent death. When the authorities decide to seek out help from outside, three different characters arrive in the city and try to solve the mystery during the next twelve days. The game is story-driven and focuses on adventure aspects. All three characters are frequently getting in each other’s way. In contrast to the original game, the new version features refreshed, high-resolution graphics. The game begins fifty years after the outbreak of a zombie epidemic, as a result of which the remainders of humanity had to find shelter in city-states ruled by the military. The tragedy, instead of leading to the unification of the dying human race, led to a war over the remaining resources. The gameplay focuses on dynamic multiplayer competition in six different PvP modes - teams of players fight one another for resources and control over strategic areas. The experience is diversified with a character development system, which is typical for the genre, as well as with zombie groups located on the maps. However, zombies do not simply serve the role of just another threat, because the players can use them against the opposition in a variety of ways. In Moving Hazard, using the dead to one's advantage effectively is crucial for success.

A new installment in a popular series of turn-based games, created as a joint effort of Byzantine Games and The Lords Games. The game takes us to Europe during the age of pike and shot (1494 – 1698), introducing three separate campaigns encompassing 40 historical battles from the Thirty Years’ War, the English Civil War, and the series of conflicts between Austria and Ottoman Empire, including Siege of Vienna. Additionally, the game introduces a “skirmish” mode which creates a fictional campaign taking place on randomly generated maps. The gameplay in Pike and Shot: Campaigns 1494-1698 does not differ much from its predecessor. Players control a chosen nation, engaging in tactical battles requiring a number of strategic decisions which can influence the course of the whole campaign. Victories, as well as defeats contribute to mental state and battle readiness of our soldiers. Aside from a single player mode, the developers introduced a multiplayer module employing PBEM++ system. An extended edition of This War of Mine, a unique survival game developed 11bit Studios - the creators of the original - with the 8th generation consoles in mind by. The game inverts the premises of a typical war game, as we do not assume the role of heroic soldiers. Instead, we control a group of civilians surprised by the outbreak of war and trying to survive in a besieged city. The gameplay mechanics remain unchanged, focusing on survival and morally difficult decision-making. As the title suggests, the biggest novelty of the expanded edition is the introduction of playable children, who play an incredibly important role in the on-screen events. Initially, the youngest survivors will, for example, build toys or decorate environments, but with time, thanks to their adult guardians, they shall learn many useful skills that can prove invaluable during subsequent missions.

A 3-match puzzle game, set in the universe of the famous Magic: The Gathering card game, related to the popular Puzzle Quest series by Infinite Interactive. During the game we take on the role of a Planeswalker, who, through spells and summoned creatures, fights with other adepts of magical arts. Duels come down to skillfully placing at least three elements of the same type in a row. Depending on what symbols we combine together, each match can result in, for example, casting a spell or using an object from the inventory. Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest could not, of course, do without typical elements of a card game. Thus, we collect cards during the game that represent characters, spells, artifacts, etc. Then we use them to build our own deck, which is used during a duel allows us to achieve different effects and employ different combat strategies.
