Another extensive turn-based strategy developed by 2BY3 Games - a team including a true legend of war-themed strategy games - Gary Grigsby. The player is taken to the World War II period and the fate of the countries involved in it lies in the player's hands. Not only can the player command their armies directly and apply sophisticated strategies or tactics, but also develop new military technologies and bring more and more powerful units into fight. The game was divided into four campaigns that encompass particular stages of the war. Five playable "factions" were included here - Germany, China, Japan, the Soviet Union and the Western Allies. The game features an extensive map comprised of over 350 areas. Similar to the studio's prior games, World at War comes with a large amounts of realism and attention to details. Each of the in-game units was described by up to 14 attributes, most of which can be improved through research and development.

A legendary puzzle game from the series developed for NEC computers by Hiroyuki Imabayashi in 1981. In Soko-ban, we play as storeman, whose task is to bring order to a series of warehouse rooms by relocating boxes into their respective places. Each box can be moved by standing behind it and pressing direction keys. The main challenge is that each room is irregular in shape, so even a single misstep can hinder further movements and prevent us from completing the level. Because of that, careful planning is required to avoid obstructing your movement options. Standard version of Soko-ban offers 50 various rooms, and more of them can be created with the help of a simple editor. The game features simple, but clear visuals and tons of playability.

A re-edition of the classic music game for PlayStation 2, one of the first productions of Harmonix, the creators of the Guitar Hero franchise, as well as the Rock Band and Dance Central series. It was developed thanks to a successful fund-raising campaign on Kickstarter. Amplitude combines typical music game features with elements of a 3D space shooter. We sit in the cockpit of a spaceship, called Beat Blaster, which races through the musical cyberspace on a track that reflects the rhythmic notation of the currently played song. It is divided into several paths, each representing individual elements of the song (vocals, guitar, bass, and drums), and our task is to press the right button when a given instrument is playing. Compared to the 2003’s original, the game offers enhanced graphics, improved controls and a completely new soundtracks, composed in large part by the developers themselves.

A spin-off to Unreal, the popular series of first-person shooters. The title was developed by Digital Extremes and is available only on Microsoft consoles. The game uses gameplay solutions from both installments of Unreal Tournament and combines a well-developed multiplayer mode with option to play the game alone by fighting AI-controlled bots. The main differences between both games are related to the necessity of adapting the mechanics to the consoles by reducing the difficulty level, adding aim assist and making moving through the terrain easier. The main attraction of the game is still its multiplayer mode. The matches take place on 25 varied maps. One can choose from 28 characters, each of which has its unique story and abilities. The game can be played through Xbox Live or by directly connecting consoles. Up to 16 players can play the title simultaneously.

The 8th expansion pack to the MMORPG EverQuest which remains popular since its debut in 1999. The expansion pack was developed by Daybreak Game Company which maintains the franchise. In EverQuest: Dragons of Norrath the player can learn about the conflict between Firiona Vie and Lanys T’Vyl. The conflict is the harbinger of the Age of War that is coming to Norrath. The player is tasked with participating in the battle between good and evil by completing various story and side quests, exploring new locations and fighting enemies that weren’t present in the basic version of the game and previous expansion packs – including the titular dragons. The changes and improvements were made to the gameplay as well – the player was given access to an interactive world map and a special belt that provides quick access to selected items and potions. In addition to that, the guild system was expanded – the headquarters enables the player not only to stock valuable items, but provide a base for his avatar. As usually, the graphics were slightly improved in comparison to the original EverQuest.

The titular mode constitutes the main part of the game - the player participates in subsequent racing challenges, earning adequate licenses and money, which can be spent on new cars and parts for them. The game offers over a hundred licensed car models belonging to the world's most famous brands. Each of the available cars can be customized to a substantial degree, for dozens of parts can be replaced and the player is allowed to experiment with different car settings. Racing takes place on asphalt tracks (majority of them appeared in the previous installments) and completely new gravel sections. As usual, the game does not lack realism in terms of the driving physics. Additionally, Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec offers new, incredibly detailed visuals, which constitutes a major improvement since the release of the installments for Sony's previous-generation consoles.
