The player assumes the role of one of them and is tasked with leading his faction to domination over the others. The gameplay focuses on exploration of a randomly generated galaxy, developing economy, technology and diplomacy. The game also features epic battles of powerful armadas of spaceships which can be freely modified – the player can decide about the ship's engine, weapons and other systems. The skirmishes – similarly as the whole game – are turn-based and the player’s actions are limited to supporting his troops or weakening the opponent with special action cards. Heroes, who can belong to one of five different classes with unique technology trees, have direct control over our fleets.

The action takes place primarily in the war-torn Warsaw, although we will also visit Norway, France, and Germany in the protagonist’s flashbacks. The gameplay mechanics don’t deviate from the genre’s standards and offer a dynamic action with numerous shooting sequences and a rich weapons arsenal. Enemy Front is powered by CryEngine 3, which was also used in Crysis 3 and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, among other titles.

During the single player campaign the player can find almost 60 various types of collectibles. A new multiplayer mode called Beast Mode was added to the game and the cooperation mode was greatly improved, now allowing for up to 4 players to play by using a single console.

An action game, developed by Volition, combining the features of a classic FPS game with extensive adventure game elements. The plot of Red Faction has been set in the year 2100, and takes place on Mars. In one of the mines, a rebellion breaks out against the ruthless regime of the Ultor Corporation, and is further fueled by a virus decimating the workers. We assume the role of Parker, who becomes a member, and later the leader of the rebellion aimed at overthrowing the current state of affairs, and proceeds to reveal the secret of the plague. During the gameplay, the players have 15 types of weapons at their disposal, and the ability to control various land, air or sea vehicles. A huge asset of the game is the use of Geo-Mod, an innovative technology allowing for increased interaction with the environment and the ability to modify it by, for example, breaking through walls using explosives. The whole game is complemented by a multiplayer mode for up to 32 players.

Moreover, the restaurants can be furnished with over 100 objects, which allows you to decorate the place as you like. Pizza Connection 2 features 10 campaigns, in which you compete with up to 7 rival companies controlled by the AI.

An unusual spin-off to the legendary Tomb Raider series. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics - the creators of the franchise's latest installments. The game follows the adventures of a beautiful female archeologist and her friend - a Mayan warrior by the name of Totec. The characters set out for a journey, searching for a mysterious artifact known as Mirror of Smoke, which is to be used against the evil Xolotl, who has gained the power to control other spirits. Contrary to the third-person perspective the Tomb Raider games are usually played in, the spin-off is an isometric game resembling hack'n'slash titles in this aspect. The gameplay focuses on arcade elements and combat sequences, in which the player encounters hordes of ghosts - a special emphasis was placed on cooperation. The two characters have different abilities, therefore, close cooperation is the key to success. However, it is also worth mentioning that the game features elements which could be considered hallmarks of the Tomb Raider series as well, such as exploration of tombs and catacombs.

The game provides a continuation to the successful action title developed by Starbreeze AB. In The Darkness II, the player assumes the role of Jackie Estacado again, who returns as the Godfather of the Franchetti crime family. Memories of the past won't let him live as someone else however, and the ominous power lying within the protagonist only makes the situation worse. The attack on Jackie and the other members of his family initiates a large-scope gang war, and the mysterious Brotherhood stands behind it all. The game is based on the gameplay formula of its predecessor. Thus Jackie fights his enemies with several types of firearms, but he also makes use of special powers, such as demonic arms, causing chaos in the ranks of the opposition. Additionally, the protagonist's skills can be developed, which is done through buying subsequent talents gathered within a relatively extensive skill tree.

The second installment in the series of strategy games which was started in 2001 by Firefly studio. The developers decided not to experiment with gameplay mechanics and instead only expanded the best features of the original. The player can once again choose from two separate campaigns which focus on either the economic or the military aspects of the gameplay. The list of available siege machines and defense tools was expanded, the realism of the game was improved and a possibility to use various battle formations was introduced. The economic part of the game was improved as well – now it offers almost 140 buildings and 20 different production chains. The necessity to keep the stronghold clean was introduced. Ignoring this can lead to plague or an epidemic outbreak. The most visible change is a fully three-dimensional graphics engine. Thanks to it one can observe the settlement from top-down perspective and the battles, in which up to 1000 units can participate, now take place also inside buildings.

Another edition of an annually released sports game series devoted to basketball, developed jointly by Visual Concepts and the publisher of the franchise, 2K Games. NBA 2K16 employs the well-proven mechanics of the series, offering user-friendly controls that achieve the perfect balance between simulation and arcade, as well as the traditional wide array of play modes for both single and multiplayer. The main game mode is MyCareer, prepared under the eye of a famous American movie director Spike Lee. This ensured a compelling story enriched with subplots more or less connected to sport. The creators also introduced a bunch of gameplay improvements, mostly focused around player control. Moreover, graphics was enhanced, becoming much more detailed - including things like the players’ shoes. You can also appreciate more detailed and better animated crowds.

The game takes you onto European roads, where you carry passengers from one place to another, thus earning money and unlocking new vehicles. The developers recreated around a dozen of licensed coaches – not only in terms of their appearance, but also things like the sound effects produced by different engines. In terms of visuals, the game is powered by the well-proven engine employed in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and features some new models created solely for this production. As a result, the game can boast realistic traffic and highly detailed recreations of cities with their iconic landmarks.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is an episodic adventure game developed by Telltale Games. The game is based on a comic book series from Marvel, and tells the story of the titular Guardians of the Galaxy. Unlike the classic superhero team ups, this group is made of outcasts and outlaws, and their humor-filled adventures take place in far reaches of the universe. Like in other games from Telltale, the gameplay in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is based on exploration, dialogues, and, most importantly, on making decisions that influence the course of the plot. Our choices influence not only the current episode we are playing, but also the following ones.
