In the game we play as a woman named Chell, who wakes up inside of scientific research complex Aperture, where she has to go through a series of tests. Our task is to get through the maze of rooms and corridors of the facility using a prototype weapon with properties reminiscent of Gravity Gun known from Half-Life. It gives the ability to create title portals, connecting any two points in space.

The third installment in the bestselling first-person stealth series, Thief, developed by Ion Storm studio - team composed mostly of developers responsible for the first two parts of the series. The story of Thief: Deadly Shadows is independent from its predecessors, though once again we play the part of well-known thief named Garrett who was the main protagonist of the previous games as well. This time, Garrett's quest is to stop a long-prophesied advent of an era of darkness, which requires him to steal valuable treasures and artifacts from different parts of the city. But things take an unexpected turn when Garrett inadvertently awakens the ancient evil, and becomes considered a traitor by the members of his guild. In terms of game mechanics, the title does not differ significantly from its predecessors, and every mission in the game can be completed in several different ways. The main difference is the new graphic engine and body awareness mechanism through which we have much more control over the hero's actions.

An unorthodox action game developed by studio EA DICE. The game combines the dynamic of typical first-person perspective shooters with platform game elements. The story of the game takes place in the future, in a large metropolis where every citizen is being watched “for his own good” by a totalitarian government. Among the people who don’t want to be controlled there are the so-called “runners” who mastered the art of parkour that allows them to quickly and effectively move through the concrete jungle. The player assumes the role of a female courier named Faith who is trying to protect the good name of her sister framed into murder. The gameplay consists of series of missions during which Faith uses her skills to move through the roofs and buildings while avoiding guards. In case of confrontation one can eliminate the opponent with fists or by using gunfire taken from the guard.

The third installment in the popular RTS game series set in the period of World War II and developed by Fireglow. Even though the game utilizes the framework created for the previous installments in the series, the authors decided to implement a number of changes, improvements, and fresh solutions, the most prominent being a new graphics engine. The so-called Sudden Strike Next7 can render enormous and diverse locations as well as multiple units at the same time, allowing for creating dynamic lighting and shadowing effects. Because of that, the players can freely move the camera and precisely zoom in on the events taking place on a battlefield. Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory offers an entirely new interface allowing one to control multiple squads – this regards both ground and naval units. The game puts a strong emphasis on the battle preparation – the developers have taken care to introduce a new logistics system, as well as the option to create defensive systems. What is also worth mentioning, the game supports multiplayer matches that accompany the standard single-player campaign.

The gameplay mechanics of the game combine FPS, stealth and RPG features. Thanks to special nanotechnological augmentations the protagonist has inhuman abilities that can be gradually improved as the game progresses. Denton can use various weapons which can be also modified. The story of the game is non-linear, and depending on the choices made by the player it might led to one of three alternative endings.

The action of the game takes place during World War II, offering three story campaigns enabling us to see the conflict from three sides: German, Soviet, and Allied, while the main emphasis is put on the Soviet campaign, telling a story of two Russian students that enrolled in the army. The ferocious battles led to the creation of a powerful bond linking both heroes. In Men of War, the player receives access to over 50 types of units, deployed around the battlefields in Greece, Northern Africa, Germany, as well as Italy and Ukraine. Completing all three campaigns unlocks additional five missions. Moreover, the game received major upgrades to multiplayer mode – a new nation, Japan, as well as new multiplayer modes in the form of capture the flag and high-value cargo, while our actions are constantly registered by a system of grades and statistics. Men of War is characteristic for its detailed graphics and high-quality sound effects.

Moreover, Anno 1404: Venice offers in total three hundred entirely new missions like economic race or loading of ships, sixty additional items, as well as the opportunity to discover and explore previously inaccessible kind of territory – a volcanic island. The biggest novelty is a multiplayer mode for up to 4 people, that was absent in the base game. Players can now compete against each other or form alliances against an opponent controlled by the computer.

Aside from the old content, God Eater 2: Rage Burst offers many improvements, both in visuals and gameplay. We still receive a dynamic action game with RPG features, with its story taking place three years after the previous installment. We traverse the land as a nameless hero and eliminate large beasts. An arcade battle system stresses out on player’s reflexes, and it is well-advised to come with proper tactic before facing enemies. Each of them has different strong and weak points, finding which is the key to success. Heroes can use a vast arsenal of giant weapons, tied to certain combat styles and tactic. Aside from single player campaign, God Eater 2: Rage Burst offers cooperation mode for three players.

A sequel to the popular economic strategy Cities XL, released in 2009 and re-relased twice in enhanced editions. The game was produced by Focus Home Interactive, which purchased the brand license after the original publisher, Monte Cristo, went bankrupt. The basic mechanics remain unchanged: you play as the mayor of a virtual city and your task is to manage its development and to make sure everything is functioning as it should. By building new dwellings, facilities, commercial lots, and public utilities, you have to continuously take care of the citizens' happiness level, as well as the city budget, sustained regularly by taxes. The new installment adds many new buildings and options of managing the city. Thanks to a new engine, the gameplay scale is much larger, and the size and diversity of the metropolis are no longer limited.

An old-school RPG from the independent developer Toby Fox, referencing the Earthbound series. Undertale's story takes place in a world that was witness to a lengthy, cruel war between humans and monsters after a long period of coexistence between both races. It ended with humans driving the monsters underground. Many years later, somewhere in the vicinity of the now-legendary mount Ebott, a little girl looking for shelter from the rain finds a cave and in it a mysterious hole, through which she falls. We play as this girl and explore the underground world, facing various monsters and interacting with various characters. The game’s most characteristic feature is the innovative battle system – we can engage in direct combat in the form of arcade minigames or avoid more difficult fights through talking and complimenting.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is an action game set in the Dishonored game universe. We play as a new protagonist, Billie Lurk. She is an assassin with supernatural powers and the right hand of Daud, one of the series' primary antagonists and the character we played as in two DLCs of the first Dishonored game. Our job is to hunt down the titular Outsider, a mysterious being that is the source of the supernatural powers used by the series' heroes. Story is nonlinear and its outcome is heavy reliant on our choices. Death of the Outsider takes us to the city of Karnaca known from Dishonored 2. We will visit many various locations during our adventures, like cultist hideouts or underground fight clubs. Gameplay mechanics did not change and are the same as in the previous games of the series. Once again we can play stealthy and be a silent assassin or attack our enemies in plain sight. As we progress, we unlock new abilities and pieces of equipment. After finishing the game, we can play it once again in the Original Game Plus mode where we have access to abilities from Dishonored 2.

The third installment of the series of fighting games Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm that is based on the popular manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. During the game the player can assume the roles of their favorite characters from the Naruto universe (including Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kabuto Yakushi) and participate in spectacular fights against rivals controlled by artificial intelligence or other players. The visuals of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 were developed using the cel-shading technology. Thanks to that the game looks similarly to its animated archetype. Full Burst edition contains additional missions, characters and story plots.

A first-person adventure game from ORM Entertainment, which was initially supposed to be nothing more than modification to the popular shooter Crysis 2. Its story revolves around the disaster of the famous ocean liner, which sunk in 1912 with hundreds of people on board. We play as a man named Robert Morgan, who, due to false accusations, has to hide aboard the liner from the police. He must find a proof of his innocence, but the collision with the iceberg suddenly makes survival an equally important point. The main goal of the developers was to recreate the interior of the Titanic as faithfully as possible, and, in addition to the story campaign, a special free exploration mode has been prepared to allow us to go sightseeing on the famous ship, look around its almost every corner and interact with various objects on the deck.

Player’s task is to destroy The Ring of Power and defeat the Dark Lord Sauron. The gameplay builds on battles against hordes of enemies. All the bloodshed takes place across twelve diverse battlefields – these include Minas Tirith, Fields of Pelennor, The Black Gate and The Path of the Dead. As the story progresses, one can develop particular characters, gaining access to more powerful combos that can be used in all the battles to come. An additional treat, featured in the PC / Windows and home consoles releases of the game, are the cutscenes taken from the third part of The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, along with the soundtrack composed by Howard Shore. The third large DLC expansion for 2009's Dragon Age: Origins. Delivering about 60-90 minutes of gameplay, Return to Ostagar takes the player back to the keep that first appeared in the core game. One day, a great battle between humans and the Darkspawn took place in the area. This new adventure begins when the protagonist learns about the existence of a person who survived the said battle and seeks help from the Grey Wardens. Above all, the player kills subsequent monsters that have occupied the keep and the battlefield surrounding its walls. Apart from the locations included in the base game, the player visits several new, snow-covered areas. Interestingly, the player is given the second chance to recruit a Mabari war hound, which can be useful if they had missed that opportunity in the early phase of playing the core game.

A set of two story DLCs for the fourth installment in the classic Grand Theft Auto series. It was published as a standalone game, not requiring the base game to launch. The set introduces two separate stories taking place in Liberty City, the metropolis known from GTA III and IV. The Lost and Damned focuses on a biker gang, known as The Lost, trying to gain the upper hand over a competitive criminal organization. The Ballad of Gay Tony casts the player in the role of a bodyguard protecting a night-club king indebted to the wrong kind of people, who are trying to get their money back by any means necessary. Apart from new missions, Episodes from Liberty City brings a handful of improvements and new features. Among these, it is worth mentioning new weapons and an expanded array of vehicles. The player can now use the parachute as well. Additionally, the creators implemented a multiplicity of new activities, mini-games and many multiplayer mode improvements.

The title features a shorter story set in an open world inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino. The action takes place two years after the events of the original title, in a small town in Arizona. The protagonist finds out that he is inside the world of Night Springs, the TV series he once wrote scripts for. Trapped in a nightmare, Alan Wake has to face his dark alter ego – a serial killer known as Mr. Scratch. The mechanics follow in the original title’s footsteps and feature a characteristic combat system based on the use of a flashlight. The developers introduced a new, arcade game mode, Fight Till Dawn, in which you battle waves of opponents, and your score is displayed in a special online ranking.

A steampunk action-adventure game with logic features. The title was developed by the independent studio Micropsia Games from Chile. The Watchmaker takes place inside a giant clock tower, and during the game the player assumes the role of a guard named Alexander. One day, a sabotage takes place in the tower, disrupting the flow of time and causing the protagonist to grow old extremely fast. In order to avoid death before his time, he must travel through subsequent sections of the tower to find and defeat the person responsible for the sabotage. He must also restore the proper flow of time. The game combines features of an adventure game, a 3D platform game and a logic game. The main focus was placed on solving various environmental riddles, but the game also contains typical action sequences and boss fights, during which the protagonist uses a variety of useful gadgets. The fact that the protagonist is getting older was used as a creative replacement for the classic health bar.

An enhanced edition of an 2014 RPG by Larian Studios, which, unlike the original, appeared not only on PC, but also on consoles. In terms of the story the game is a prequel to the Divinity series. Players control two young Source Hunters, who have to investigate a mysterious death that occurred in one of the cities in realm of Rivellon, and explore a forbidden art of magic in order to counter its effects. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game goes back to the roots of the Divinity series employing isometric view. While playing, you command a team of up to 4 characters, navigating through the interactive environment and listening to conversations between your team members. When compared with the original release, Enhanced Edition offers new subplots, new quests and an alternative ending. Furthermore, local co-op mode was added, as well as gamepad support and the game features enhanced audiovisuals.
