The title is a term borrowed from Japanese pop culture, meaning a type of personality: such person seems nice and harmless at the first glance but with time shows their alternate, brutal aspect. In Yandere Simulation, we assume the role of a seemingly ordinary high school student who is madly in love with a boy. Mad with love, the protagonist decides not to let any other female colleague romantically pursue him at any cost, and to do so, she is willing to go as far as murder. Mechanics-wise, it is a stealth game with limited dating simulation elements. What deserves attention is the large freedom in choosing the way to achieve a goal. Even though murder is the easiest way to get rid of competition, we can also use more sophisticated methods.
