Additionally, the expansion includes the new updates introduces in Home Cities. Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs also includes new content for the multiplayer mode – aside from bonus maps, the developer added new units for the eight European nations present in the core game.

A continuation of the best-selling first-person stealth game created by Looking Glass Technologies studio in 1998. Once again, we play the part of a thief, Garrett, who is willing to undertake virtually any, daring or not, theft, just to make more money. Thanks to his activities, the protagonist has managed to amass not only sizable assets, but also many bitter enemies, representing three factions governing the city. Thus, in Thief 2: The Metal Age our main task will be to keep Garrett alive and explain the reasons for everyone's sudden increase in interest in his person. Concerning gameplay, the game basically does not differ from the first installment, although player gets a few new useful gadgets at his disposal, such as new types of arrows or an invisibility potion. Artificial intelligence algorithms and the range of potential reactions and behaviors of our opponents were significantly improved.

A continuation of the popular strategy game, released by Creative Assembly in 2000. The kingdom management part plays out in a turn-based system, in which we expand our empire, building castles, creating alliances, setting trade routes, discovering new technologies, and developing our military. The battles take place in real time, in a fully 3D environment, with up to 10 thousand troops taking part in the encounters. The campaigns available in the game are based on historical events, and separated into three parts, taking place in early, high, and late Middle Ages.

My Horse and Me stands out from its competitors thanks to a more serious approach to horsemanship as well as the exclusive license of the FEI, an equestrian sports organization. The game allows us to participate in a myriad of varied competitions organized on specially prepared arenas all over the world. Moreover, we might as well go on a free ride, without having to comply with any particular rules. Furthermore, the game emphasizes the necessity of taking appropriate care of our animal. The players can take part in many different mini-games that let them train their horse even better. It is also possible to buy additional equipment, both for the animal and the rider.

A classic, isometric cRPG, set in an original world combining traditional fantasy elements with nineteenth-century industrial era. Title was developed by the team of Troika Games studio, founded by former employees of Interplay and co-authors of the iconic RPG, Fallout. In Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura we play the part of a simple mortal, who, after having managed to survive the disaster of the world's first airship, becomes widely recognized as a deity due to an ancient elven prophecy, bringing him a whole lot of adventures, troubles, and dangers. The game develops in a nonlinear way, offering, in addition to the main plot line, a whole bunch of extremely complex side quests. Just as in the aforementioned Fallout, the game has no rigid class system; hence, our character can specialize in magic, technology, or freely combine both elements.

An action RPG developed by Supergiant Games - a studio established by Amir Rao and Gavin Simon, who both are former employees of Electronic Arts. In the game, the player assumes the role of a hero named Kidd, who one day wakes up in his bed drifting among the remains of the world, in which he used to live before. The young lad embarks on a journey to find other survivors and provide them with shelter. The world of Bastion that is drifting through the void is a very dangerous - it crawls with monsters that our hero has to face using an elaborate arsenal of both melee and ranged weapons. Moreover, since particular locations literally are hanging in mid-air, a moment of distraction might result in Kidd falling off the map. Bastion stands out from similar productions because of its method of delivering the story (the actions of the main protagonist are described in real time by a narrator) and the original visuals featuring colorful, hand painted, and highly interactive backgrounds. Interestingly enough, in spite of the fairytale-like style of the game, Bastion tells a grim story about the apocalypse. The game has been recognized with many prestigious awards.

An official expansion pack for Doom 3. It was developed by Nerve Software, under the auspices of the base game's creators. Resurrection of Evil continues the storyline established in the core game, once again taking the player to the secret research facility on Mars. It turns out that defeating the powerful Cyberdemon and destroying the portal leading to hell were not the only problems of the Union Aerospace Corporation. Assuming the role of a nameless commando, the player's task is to eliminate the main culprit by the name of Malcolm Betruger, while slaying hordes of monstrous, demonic creatures along the way. Apart from the new storyline and a set of completely new levels, the expansion offers several new types of enemies, two weapons (the classic double-barreled shotgun and the futuristic Plasma Levitator), as well as a powerful artifact allowing the player to slow down the passage of time. Additionally, Resurrection of Evil features four new maps for the multiplayer mode. Up to eight players can meet in a multiplayer session.

A first-person shooter developed by Spark Unlimited. Members of the studio worked formerly mainly on the famous Call of Duty and Medal of Honor franchises. The player is put in the shoes of Charles Deckard - an art thief. Unfortunately, he obtains the legendary Pandora's box and literally opens it. Numerous creatures described in mythologies escape from the box (including such things as werewolfs and gryphons), and the protagonist, being the main reason behind the whole problem, decides to fight them. In terms of gameplay, the title is an arcade first-person shooter consisting of traversing ruined cities and fighting groups of powerful enemies with the help of modern firearms. Interestingly, each enemy has a rage level indicator. It increases mainly when the monster is taking damage, which makes it more and more dangerous in combat. The protagonist is supported by a team of comrades. Apart from the single player campaign, the game offers multiplayer options as well.
