Raven's Cry is a pirate-themed action game featuring elements of sailing simulation. The initial developer team, Finnish studio Octane Games, was replaced by Reality Pump during development. The game's protagonist, Christopher Raven, is a man obsessed with a burning desire for bloody revenge on the pirates who murdered his parents many years ago. The dark plot of Raven's Cry is greatly influenced by the player’s choices. The production is a combination of a sandbox action game and a sailing simulator. During the game we get the opportunity to engage in dueling, using both pistols and melee weapons, explore the vast world, and even take command of a ship during spectacular naval battles.

Among a whole range of improvements, there are new diplomatic options, a new set of buildings, and more. Multiplayer is also expanded – now it allows up to 32 users to play at the same time. The production features more details and updated graphics. The extension requires both, the base-version of the game and the previous DLCs.

A strategy game set in a science-fiction world. This is the debut of the British Machine studio, led by a former member of an independent developer Mode 7 - Simon Roth. The action is set in the far future, and the game emphasizes the economic aspect. The player's task is to colonize the planet 3452C, commonly known as the eponymous Maia. The actual gameplay takes place on procedurally generated maps, not larger than two square kilometers each. The game features relatively complex mechanics. Thus, the player not only has to build underground structures ensuring effective work of the colony, but they also have to conduct mining works in order to gather valuable resources and extend the base. It is also crucial to cater to the needs of the society the player develops. These include having to employ people, provide them with food and adequate entertainment. Similar to the classic Dungeon Keeper, the player is allowed to switch to the first person view and take a walk around the colony.

The plot of the game takes place in 2054 – 50 years after the catastrophe that changed the Earth’s surface into an inhospitable area. When a conflict between the decimated society and the corrupted authorities has led to the destruction of the last safe colony, the humanity has been forced to return to the ravaged Earth, and re-take it piece by piece from Alien hands. When it comes to mechanics, UFO: Aftershock tries to expand the solutions employed by its predecessor. The developers have considered the players’ feedback, introducing more interactions with the environment, and considerably improved the development of the player’s subordinates. Nevertheless, we are still dealing with a hybrid of a strategy game and a tactical action game in the vein of the classic UFO, in which we manage our base and fight groups of Aliens.
