Another installment in the popular historical strategy games franchise by Paradox Interactive, taking players back in time into the period of the bloodiest conflict in history – World War Two. As the player, your task is to come into power in your country of choice – either one of the superpowers of the time, or a militarily weaker country – and lead it through the global conflict. The plot of Hearts of Iron spans from 1936 to 1948, so you can choose to prepare for the inevitable war first. The creators have taken historical accuracy seriously, thanks to which you witness many events that really took place, although much still depends on your actions. The third instalment of the franchise features a huge world map, divided into around ten thousand provinces. In Hearts of Iron III, you can meticulously manage economic and military factors, although the less experienced players may just limit themselves to issuing general commands. It's the first title in the series to feature 3D graphics and customizable resolution options.

Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny is the second expansion to the 2006 Spellforce 2, the second installment in the popular series of RTS/RPG games. The expansion was developed by Trine Games, which is also behind expansions to Gothic 3 and The Guild 2. Contrary to the previous add-on, Faith in Destiny is a stand-alone product. The action of this expansion’s campaign happens four years after the events known from Dragon Storm. During that brief period of time, the portals linking different parts of the world of Eo have been completely destroyed, and the task of the player is to learn the reasons behind this event, as well as to save the whole world. During their travels, the players will visit both the well-known locations, as well as some that are completely new. They will also face hordes of enemies. Faith in Destiny also brings a slew of changes in multiplayer, which are meant to diversify the game world. Apart from new maps, the devs have also prepared new game modes, enriched with many elements known from MMO games.

True to its title, the add-on takes us to Venice – a 15th century Italian city state, which the creators recreated with all details - and allows the players to visit places like Piazza San Marco or Doge’s Palace. Due to the unique location of the metropolis, many places can only accessed with new means of transport - gondolas. This isn’t the only novelty, as The Guild 2: Venice features many new things, improvements and changes, such as another story campaign and the option of giving our character personality of Casanova, famous for his love conquests.

You task is to make sure they have the best living conditions possible (which means they have to resemble the animals' natural habitat), so that the beautiful and well-kept specimens will attract more visitors, who will pay you money. The fourth expansion for the popular game The Sims 2, in which you control the daily lives of player-created characters. As the title suggests, the expansion adds various pets to the game: from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, fish, hamsters and birds. You can design your pets just like your human Sims. They can also wear many accessories, such as scarves and collars. You have to remember, however, that the pets don't live forever and you have to take care of their basic needs, such as hunger and the need to relieve themselves. Dogs and cats in particular require quite a lot of entertainment, care, and training. The Sims 2: Pets includes a reward and punishment system, which allows you to better train your animal companion — otherwise, you risk mischief and collateral damage. Curiously, the well-cared-for pets can become show-business stars, which earns you a monthly reward.
