Oriental Empires focuses on faithfully recreating historical events concerning the Chinese empire - the game encompasses a period of three thousand years between 1500 B.C and 1500 A.D. The player becomes a leader of a small tribe and their goal is to build up a powerful empire. To do so, they have to cultivate land, gather resources, build new towns, as well as recruit and train the army.
