Another entry in the BIT.TRIP series – 2D auto runner platformers – developed by Gaijin Entertainment. The plot of Runner3 is a continuation of the adventures of CommenderVideo, the hero from the previous games. The gameplay didn't change much when compared to the previous titles but there are a few new features and improvements which are the result of community feedback. During the game, our character runs automatically to the right and our goal is to lead him through dozens of various levels and avoid numerous traps by either jumping over or sliding under them. As usual for this series, all actions are performed accordingly to music's rhythm. Each action creates a sound and the soundtrack's tempo determines how fast our hero runs and the number of hazards that await him.

Similarly to Guitar Hero or Rock Band, it uses a vertical board divided into several tracks where colorful bricks appear and move down towards the bottom. Each track is assigned a gamepad button which we have to press when a brick is in the corresponding field. DJMAX Respect features a hundred songs taken from DJMAX Portable and DJMAX Portable 2. The music library can be also expanded by buying additional tunes in the form of DLC. Apart from a standard arcade mode, in which we select songs from the list, DJMAX Respect offers a campaign that consists of a number of missions that add different kinds of limitations and difficulties. Moreover, the title allows us to compete 1 vs 1, both over the Internet and locally on a single console.

A science-fiction rhythm game developed Mad Fellows. Aaero does not offer an elaborate narrative layer, focusing on allowing the player to control a small ship hovering above ground and fight the enemies that appear on the screen. The ship’s movements can be controlled with the analog sticks. The player is tasked with following the precise track and sticking to a white ribbon, which boosts the score multiplier. Occasionally, the player has to face powerful bosses – fighting these foes revolves around weakening their armor and pieces of skeleton. The key to success lies not only in good reflexes and agility but also good hearing, as the gameplay is accompanied by an audio layer – the more aligned with the rhythm player’s actions are, the higher he scores.
