The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

A PlayStation 4 bundle comprising of the three major installments of the action-adventure game series released over the years 2007-2011. The remastered versions were developed by Bluepoint Games in cooperation with the original creators - Naughty Dog. All three games feature an adventurer named Nathan Drake as the main protagonist, who travels to many exotic places in search of the legacy left by his ancestor (Drake’s Fortune), a legendary artifact (Among Thieves), and finally, the lost city of Ubar (Drake’s Deception). The gameplay features third person perspective and mechanics similar to Tomb Raider franchise. The bundle offers enhanced graphics, upgraded to 1080p resolution and 60 FPS, as well as many better textures, models, and an enhanced lighting system. Unfortunately, the games lack multiplayer modes included in the original releases.

Another spin-off to the legendary series of sandbox action games, developed by Rockstar Games for the PlayStation Portable console. As the title of the game suggests, its action is related to GTA: Vice City. The title takes place in 1984, two years before the events shown in the other game. The main protagonist is Victor Vance – an ex-soldier who currently works for various gangsters. By completing various jobs given to him by mafia bosses he slowly rises through the ranks of the criminal underworld. The gameplay isn’t very different from other installments of the series. However the developers added many new features such as the ability to swim, fly a helicopter or enter buildings. This made the game mechanics even more similar to the mechanics of full-fledged installments in the series. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories offers a large number of weapons and gadgets as well as a varied soundtrack that accompanies the player while driving cars.

Another entry in the fighting game series based on popular manga series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, by Hirohiko Araki. It has been developed in cooperation with Cyberconnect2 studio (known from the Naruto game series) and the creator of manga himself, who wrote a completely new story for the game, set after the events of third series of Stardust Crusaders. After Jotaro Kujo is attacked by his dead friends and foes alike, it turns out that there are evil forces to be held responsible for that. To bring back the order, we have to set out on a dangerous journey, during which we will be traveling in time thanks to Robert Speedwagon’s stones. In terms of game mechanics JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures: Eyes of Heaven is similar to the aforementioned Naruto fighting games. We fight on vast arenas in teams of two, using the heroes’ special abilities. The game is presented in a distinctive visual style that imitates the manga original.

The story takes place an unspecified number of years in the future, when scientists discover a seemingly harmless alien life form on Jupiter's moons. You play as an astronaut named Ava Turing, whose task is to examine the new species, and who ends up finding more than she expected. The Turing Test is a part of the FPP logic puzzle genre, popularized by the Portal series. There's no combat in the game, and the gameplay is entirely focused on solving puzzles. To do this, you mostly use a special device that allows you to manipulate energy and transfer if from object to object. You also have to operate various mechanisms and intelligent machines, as well as complete occasional platform challenges.

A spin-off to the iconic Grand Theft Auto series. The game was first developed for the PlayStation Portable handheld console. The story of Liberty City Stories takes place a few years before the events shown in GTA3, on the streets of the same metropolis. During the game player becomes Tony Cipriani who after coming to the city is caught up in the dirt of corruption, mafia wars, and drug traffic. The objective of the game is to work for the Leone mafia family, increase its influences and build up Tony’s reputation in the criminal underworld. The gameplay of GTA: Liberty City Stories employs the well-received mechanics of the series and offers an open world filled with story missions and side activities alike. As always in the series, there are many vehicles (including motorcycles, motorboats, trains and ferries) and weapons to use. However, due to the limitations of the PSP console, some things were slightly simplified.

An adventure game created by an independent studio Variable State. The player assumes the role of a rookie FBI agent, who receives a task of investigating the case of a young boy’s disappearance. The plot is filled with supernatural elements, and science-fiction motifs. The plot of Virginia is completely linear, so the players can focus on experiencing the story. The action is seen from a first-person perspective, while the gameplay mechanics and the way of presenting subsequent events take full advantage of movie narration techniques – there are plenty of varied shots, visible camera work and a movie-like montage. What’s even more interesting, and practically unprecedented in other narrative-heavy games, all information is relayed through picture and sound – there are no dialogues. All conversations end when our character is nearby. The eerie atmosphere is also achieved through an original visual style, in which the simplified face models allow for suggestive relay of emotions, while the red-yellowish, autumn palette brings out the sleepy atmosphere of the area. Story wise and stylistically, the game was visibly inspired by Twin Peaks, a cult-classic TV series.

An action-adventure game developed by Iron Galaxy that tells about a war between humans and powerful ogres. The developers of Extinction claim that while humans always kept fighting with each other, the aforementioned monsters were the real threat and they finally decided to step out of shadows. Only specially trained Sentinels can face them and there aren’t that many of them left. The player assumes the role of one of the last Sentinels – a warrior named Avil. The title is an action game that focuses especially on combat combining action with tactics. The protagonist is a very agile and fast warrior who can immediately climb buildings, run on walls and jump. His main attribute is a special whip that can be used both for moving and for disarming opponents. In addition to story campaign, the game also offers two additional modes in which the player can fight other players or stand against waves of enemies.
