A stand-alone expansion for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War developed by Relic Entertainment. The basic novelty introduced in Dark Crusade expansion are the two new factions. The first one are the humanoid robots known as Necron. They are a faction of undead killing machines. The second new faction is the Tau Empire. They are technologically advanced and have remarkable skills in diplomacy.

Following the historical themes and the fictional conflict from Battlefield 2, this time the game takes place in the future—in the year 2142, to be exact, after a devastating nuclear disaster, which resulted in a new ice age. There's a new conflict involving two powerful factions: the joint European-American forces and the Russian-Arabic-Indian coalition.
Half-Life 2: Episode One

The first expansion to Half-Life 2. Its action takes place directly after the events shown in the predecessor and expands the storyline with new plots. Once more the player becomes the main protagonist of the series: Gordon Freeman, accompanied, once again, by Alyx Vance. The two characters are tasked with escaping from an alien citadel – the place where the basic version of the game ended.

A lighthearted, science-fiction arcade game that allows the player to assume the role of a cleaner on a space station. Viscera Cleanup Detail starts in a moment that would normally mean that the end credits are about to roll in any typical story. Instead, our hero enters the action moments after somebody got rid of an alien horde. As can be easily imagined, the station is littered with destroyed instruments and body parts of humans and aliens alike. Our task is to clean up the mess.

BattleTech, developed by Harebrained Schemes studio, known for Shadowrun, is a tactical battle game, which is a refreshed edition of a game released for PC in the 80s, as one of the first games by Westwood (Command & Conquer). The work was overseen by Jordan Weisman himself – the developer of the acclaimed series, MechWarrior, as well as the original BattleTech tabletop from 1984.

The story of the game uses a well-known motif from the full-fledged parts of the series - a conflict between the forces of GDI and NOD. This time, however, we don't have to do with a classic RTS strategy, but with a first-person action game, in which we play as captain Nick "Havoc" Parker, performing a number of dangerous missions against the NOD Brotherhood.

Instead, it tells a new story of the war between humans and an aggressive alien race.
