An independent tactical arcade game developed by Suspicious Developments, known for creating an espionage platform game called Gunpoint. In the game the player assumes the role of a thief-assassin and completes numerous assignments aboard procedurally generated space stations. Sometimes, one has to steal something or eliminate a VIP; however, most of the time one is bound to spend on fighting multiple enemies. Combat combines the elements featured in Hotline Miami and SUPERHOT. Nonetheless, it delivers new mechanics such as slow motion and active pause system. The developers have also implemented a number of gadgets including a teleporter allowing the player to switch places with an enemy and the ability to destroy certain modules of the stations. All this makes the combat filled with opportunities for the player to turn the tide in his favor and perform spectacular kills. Heat Signature delivers only a single player experience. Even though the game lacks a multiplayer mode, the developers decided to implement a special activity, in which one can rescue the captured friends' characters and choose these characters when playing the campaign.

Prime Arena is an online battle game by Russian studio Nival. The production utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions and is a blend of two genres: MOBA and battle royale. The influence of the first one is mostly seen in the bird's eye point of view, the presence of AI-controlled units, and a large gallery of playable characters with unique characteristics and special abilities. The gameplay, however, was based on battle royale productions. The battle goes on until there is only one player remaining, making all alliances temporary. Moreover, the battle arena shrinks over time, and you die when you end up outside. This makes the battles more dynamic, as when the fight's end draws near, a small group of players only has a little bit of space available.

A continuation of a well-received 2015 mobile endless runner Alto's Adventure, developed by Snowman. Like its predecessor, Alto's Odyssey does not feature a story as such - in the game, the player assumes the role of a snowboarder who has to overcome the obstacles, jump over chasms, run from the enemies, catch runaway animals, and perform various snowboard tricks, for which he is awarded points. Instead of the snow-capped mountains known from the first installment, the player gets to travel to a desert location filled with dunes, ruins of ancient cities, and a ton of new threats. Similarly to other endless runner games, the track is generated procedurally and has no end. The player has to avoid making any mistakes, cover gradually increasing distances, and get as many points as possible. Like its predecessor, the game features minimalist visuals; however, they are bound to appeal to many players with their pastel color palette.

We are given over 700 cards representing monsters, spells, and traps, with our objective being to become the King of Games. We achieve this through winning duels, and with each victory we level up our character. They also earn us new cards to expand our deck, unlock various missions and more powerful opponents. Aside from tutorial and story campaign, there is also a tournament mode, all of this complemented by online leaderboards and records of previous games. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links offers high-quality visuals, with awe-inspiring colors and smooth animations of duels in full 3D. Additionally, all actors are voiced by the cast of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series.

A wacky motocross game, developed by Saber Interactive. The players participate in races taking place on over 40 diversified tracks while riding various cross motorcycles. Depending on the chosen game mode, the objective is either to be the first to reach the finish line, or to gain a certain point advantage over the opponents. As an award for their efforts, the players can race against one of 13 bosses. By performing stunts, one replenishes the titular nitro booster, which allows the players to instantly increase bike’s speed, shorten the time necessary to perform a stunt, or perform a grand jump while climbing a steep hillside. Moreover, motorcycle’s stats and appearance, along with the rider’s apparel can be customized in accordance with player’s preference. In MX Nitro, one can choose the single player mode, as well as challenge other players through a rather peculiar multiplayer mode, where one races against the other players’ ‘ghosts’. The gameplay is even more attractive thanks to the visuals and advanced physics engine – upon crashing, the rider’s body is catapulted into the air and lands in an eye-catching manner, after bouncing off the ground for a couple times.

Moreover, the game features permanent-death system and turn-based combat. The game is quite complex - it offers three story campaigns, over thirty character classes, and a wide range of equipment, both offensive and defensive, including cold steel, ranged weapons, and various spells. The game stands out with its NPCs, who assign missions and trade with the player. To top it all, the game features 2D visuals, pixel art aesthetics, and an atmospheric 8-bit music soundtrack.

Particular missions are set in diverse setting and are based on dynamic exchanges of fire. The protagonist faces other modified soldiers, but also hostile vehicles and combat drones. The game also features stealth-action sequences. Alongside progression, the player unlocks special skill chips - thanks to them, the protagonist can face challenges that would otherwise require an entire squad of soldiers. Compared with the original edition, Rogue Trooper Redux offers noticeably improved graphics.

Another entry in a fighting games series, very popular in Japan. The thing that distinguishes Fire Pro Wrestling World from other wrestling games are the game mechanics. Action is presented from an isometric point of view and almost every element of the gameplay can be adjusted to suit our preferences. This is mainly connected with the wrestlers – in the beginning we get 30 fighters, but we can also create our own wrestlers by choosing not only their appearance but also their preferred moves (we can choose from more than 2000 attacks) and even a script that is responsible for their behavior. Additionally, we can also customize the referee that oversees fights and arenas – we can, e.g. put an electric fence or a mine field between fighters and audience. Besides classic fights we can also participate in online matches that can be played by up to four players. Fire Pro Wrestling World features somewhat cartoonish 2D graphics.

Plot is the crucial element of gameplay in Codex of Victory. Missions focus on the real-time improvement and extension of our underground base, on managing our resources, conducting technological research, construction of war machines, and on fighting with our enemies' forces. Combat is turn-based and takes place on maps made of hexagonal tiles. What is interesting is the fact that missions are generated procedurally, making each playthrough a unique experience. The game offers a PvP multiplayer mode and features characteristic cartoonish visuals.

In combat, the protagonist makes use of various attacks and special powers. Compared to the original release, this remastered edition brings mainly updated visuals, new effects and improved textures. The game supports 1080p resolution settings, at 60 frames per second.

We play as a person who got stuck in a haunted house, just like the characters in the movies. To survive, we will have to discover the house's secret and find out what creatures want to kill us. Gameplay in Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul is based on the standard formula used in many other horror adventure games. During our adventures, we mostly explore the haunted house and solve simple riddles and puzzles to push the story forward. Fear is an inseparable element of the game. It can be struck into our us in many ways: by the automatically moving objects, by the disturbing sounds coming from many places, or by the classic jump scares. We will have to pay much attention to the battery supply for our flashlight. Without it, we won't be able to see anything. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, but its visuals are rather mediocre in terms of quality. However, the game's audio deserves to be mentioned, as it builds the suggestive and dreadful atmosphere of Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul.

Furthermore, the game gives us an opportunity to personalize the character. One can both change the appearances of the characters, and select the most appropriate special abilities for them, which can be activated in combat. The Chaos meter serves a significant role in the gameplay formula, as it gets refilled when the player lands a hit and allows them to execute the character's deadly abilities that brighten the screen with plenty of colors and deal lots of damage to the enemies. The game offers pleasant, colorful graphics, resembling Japanese animation.

The contents of particular heists is randomly generated so that we can replay them many times. During our missions we will have to hide in the shadows, put off torches, avoid being detected, and steal valuable items. Our actions, events, characters, and items are presented like in a card game. Each level is accompanied by a deck of ten cards randomly assigned from a set created by the developers. Our job is to use them to create a path for our thief that will lead him safely to our mission objective. Cards activated by the player also influence the game. They represent our equipment and skills, and we use them to change the situation during a given mission. The game also has a Light System that decides if our character should be detected, and character progression mechanics. The game's eye-pleasing 2D visuals were designed by Max Fiedler. Soundtrack was composed by Oliver Salkic.

The inspiration for Peregrin creators came from the Hebrew beliefs as well as a number of science fiction and fantasy stories. The game’s plot is set after the cataclysm that concluded the war between humans and gods. The surviving remnants have split into large and small tribes. The main protagonist, a woman named Abi, is to fulfill an ancient prophecy and negotiate peace with the gods as well as restore her homeland back to life. The in-game events are presented from a top-down perspective. The gameplay is based on exploration and solving environmental puzzles. During her adventures, the protagonist also encounters a variety of dangers, which she handles using her supernatural ability of taking control over minds of selected creatures. The game is complemented by attractive hand-drawn graphics which make Peregrin look like a painting.

You play as a hero, who already defeated the dark lord and saved the citizens of the kingdom invaded by the villain. The protagonist decided to settle down and adopt an orphaned girl, so that he can not only help with rebuilding the country, but also take care of her future. Thus you have to look after your foster daughter and make sure she has good education and skills, which will have an impact on her adult life. The girl's personality and skills are described with numerical values and statistics, and her daily schedule and what she can learn are entirely up to you. After eight years (divided into four seasons, dozens days each), when she becomes of age, you unlock one of the 74 possible endings, depending on her career path — this is when the girl's skills and experience become apparent. The game features vastly improved visuals and soundtrack, compared to those from the original release.

Developed by Firesprite, The Persistence takes the players to the year 2521, when the interstellar voyages are a part of people’s everyday life. The main protagonist is a member of a spaceship crew, which, as a result of an unsuccessful experiment, has been turned into bloodthirsty mutants. The player is tasked with finding a way to restart the engines, allowing him to escape into safer parts of the Universe. In The Persistence, one observes the action from the first-person perspective. During the game, the player explores consecutive rooms and cabins of an enormous ship (the layout of which is procedurally generated), solves numerous environmental puzzles, and fights the encountered enemies using a diversified arsenal. There is also an option to sneak past the enemies’ backs. The main protagonist is equipped with a special device, allowing him to recover stem cells from the bodies of fallen enemies in order to develop particular traits and abilities. Interestingly enough, the protagonist’s death is permanent, which means that each playthrough features different challenges. The entire experience features high-quality visuals.

As New World Empires is an MMO game, the players should consider forming alliances with other states. This is where the espionage mechanics come in handy – one can investigate the strength of an enemy army and neighbors’ economic situation. Moreover, the players can also find out whether their states have been infiltrated by opposing factions.

A science-fiction arcade RPG developed by Radical Fish Games. We are taken to a distant future, to a world where humanity spends its free time by playing a futuristic MMO called CrossWorlds. Our hero – Lea – returns to the game after a long break, as the game’s administration suggests that her loss of memory may be averted by logging back to the game. Nevertheless, it quickly turns out that some of the CrossWorlds users remember her, and will attempt to make her life miserable to the best of their abilities. CrossCode mainly focuses on arcade combat and solving puzzles. Lea is a Spheremancer, a class whose main ability is to create energy spheres that can be fired in short succession. The heroine can also create a shield that absorbs the incoming attacks, or perform quick dodges. As always, we can improve our abilities by acquiring new skills found on a special tree, as well as equip more powerful gear. The game is especially characteristic for its eye-friendly pixel-art graphics. Interestingly enough, the game is seen from a two-dimensional perspective, with unaccented third dimension that comes into play when a hero climbs to an elevated location.

Originally, the project was meant to deliver a remake of the classic game Clock Tower, but ultimately, it evolved into a stand-alone product. Rosemary Reed is the protagonist of the game, The woman arrives at Dr Felton's estate in order to investigate the case of his daughter's disappearance - Celeste went missing several years earlier. It soon turns out, that cultists and supernatural forces are involved, and the protagonist has to fight for her life. The experience is based mainly on exploration of the grim mansion. The in-game goals were made much harder to achieve by the presence of hunters. The protagonist can try to face them using things she can find nearby, but it is far smarter to hide from their sight or run. Throughout her journey, the protagonist learns new abilities and improves those she already has.

Galactic Civilizations III: Crusade also introduces the citizens system (player can give their citizens specific roles) and the espionage mechanics. Additionally, the expansion offers an elaborate planetary invasion system, where we have to train our troops and personally deploy them on specific areas of given planets.

The player works on the skills of their character while experiencing the game, acquires new outfits and tattoos. Apart from that, 12 teams from the WNBA league (women's NBA) were featured, such as L.A. Sparks, Minnesota Lynx or New York Liberty. When it comes to gameplay, the creators prepared more intuitive controls, as well as hundreds of new moves the particular basketball players are popular for. The game offers both single player and multiplayer (competitive and co-op) modes. One can experience the Ultimate Team, and the Takedown modes, but also play friendly matches.

The team receives a final task – escorting two princesses to a special academy. Unfortunately, the mission won’t be easy, as there will be numerous dangers lurking along the way. We begin the game with choosing three characters from an available pool of twelve different heroes. The game sees the trio defend the princesses against continuous waves of varied opponents that force us to switch tactics according to the situation at hand. Each hero carries unique equipment, as well as his own set of spells – in all, we can make use of over 300 spells and 200 items. Our mission will see the players travel through 14 different environments. The clashes are randomly generated, making each playthrough different and challenging. Interestingly enough, loosing (either through death or the capture of princesses) means having to start over from scratch. Has-Been Heroes is characterized by simple, cartoonish art-style.

As we play, we will explore all kinds of diverse locations, where we will face your typical fantasy beasts and enemies. There are many various spells at our disposal, all of them being based on the four elements. We unlock more of them (and upgrade those we already know) as we progress in the game. We will also find Fate Cards as we play. They serve as special modifiers that allow us to adjust the rules of the game to our liking and, for example, change the difficulty level.

The Nonary Games includes 2009's 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward - a game which came out three years later. Since the plots of the two games are strongly connected, it is recommended to play through them in chronological order. Both games offer a gameplay formula based on two branches - the story-based sequences typical for visual novel as a genre, and the adventure-like sections played from first-person view. During the sequences of the first kind, the player follows the developments in the story and makes different choices from time to time; the other segment of gameplay requires the player to solve puzzles. Compared to their original releases, the games contained within this compilation come with improved visuals. Additionally, 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors was enriched with professional voice acting (both in English and Japanese).
