A free tool for the owners of the PC edition of Halo 5: Guardians, acting both as map editor and a way to play fan made levels. Initially, it has been the work of the team at 343 Industries and was supposed to be a PC version of the popular Forge mode, known from the main entries in the Halo series. Additionally, the players could create their own maps or game modes, than use them in Halo 5 on consoles. Those levels can be created from scratch or by modifying sandbox maps prepared by the developers. However, the first huge update for Halo 5: Forge brought the option of testing player creations, making it a full-scale multiplayer shooter, acting as a substitute of the multiplayer mode in Halo 5, offering custom matches for up to 16 players.

She can, however, reverse those effects by using a thorn that has grown on her back. Fortunately, the protagonist is not alone — she is accompanied by a friendly giant, who is helping her escape the enormous fortress by lifting and throwing heavy objects. Although A Rose in the Twilight focuses on exploration and jumping on platforms, another key element of the game are logic puzzles. While the game is very difficult, each death gives you tips to avoid the same dangers in the future. The visuals are unique, utilizing colors only sparsely.

A classic two-dimensional vertical shoot-em-all, taking place in a science-fiction universe. Xenogears was developed by an independent Finnish studio 10tons. The game takes us to 2032, where a conflict called the first galactic war forces humanity to defend its planet using an improvised fleet consisting of civilian space ships armed with various weaponry. As per the genre staples, the gameplay focuses around elimination of approaching hordes of enemies, interrupted from time to time with boss encounters that require more attention and a bit of tactical approach. Procedurally generated levels are definitely an interesting feature of the game – a level may play out different with every new playthrough, with the players unable to learn the enemies’ behavior by heart. Aside from that, the forces of humanity ale always represented by a wing – four fighters with different weaponry, with the player able to switch to a different unit depending on the type of enemy, or invite his friends to take over the remaining fighters in a local co-op mode.

The game changes simulative character of the original to a tactical, team-based FPS, in which the players control a selected mercenary and take part in dynamic battles to develop him from a beginning adept to a true veteran. This requires individual skill and using cover from other players, as well as working together with the rest of the team and using tactical maneuvers.

All the puzzles in the game build on an interesting mechanic – since a puzzle solution is a mystery, no one knows which button on the controller to press at a given moment. These puzzles are based on player’s intuition and perceptivity, as well as the ability to manipulate the elements of the environment. The pattern of subsequent solutions reflects the process of the player familiarizing themselves with the construction of subsequent devices, which changes with each new puzzle. In the game, the player is accompanied by a doctor, who follows our actions and comments on them, often in a humorous way.

Crusader Kings: Chronicles is a spin-off of a famous PC series of strategic games by Paradox, rendered as a mobile gamebook with RPG elements. The plot of Crusader Kings: Chronicles, created by an author of historical novels and fantasy, M. Harold Page, takes us into medieval times, right into the middle of the conflict between Scots and English. The protagonist is a young noble by the name of Guy de Rose, who inherits a great castle after his deceased father, and has to establish a firm grip over his domain, earn the respect of local population, and thwart the plans of an enemy, who wants to take over his inheritance. The mechanics do not venture far off the standards of the genre, and the gameplay boils down to following the plot (which is non-linear to a considerable degree) and influencing the events by choosing one of the available courses of action. A lot of emphasis has been placed on creating and maintaining relations with other characters. The game is seasoned by some RPG elements that allow the development the hero's statistics.

In contrast to the grim atmosphere of previous entries in the series, this time the player explores mountain landmarks and places inspired by the culture of China and Far East.

Puzzle, 2D, Arcade Elements, Internet, Multiplayer, For 2 Players, Splitscreen, PS Plus Extra, PS Plus Premium, Singleplayer, Tetris.
An action logic game developed by Dutch studio WeirdBeard. It is an expansion of the previous game from the same creators, known as 99 Bricks Wizard Academy. Tricky Towers is another version of the classic Tetris formula. The players are tasked with placing colorful bricks that fall from the sky. After combining the bricks, they don’t disappear but create a tower. The player must create as high construction as possible. An advanced physics engine makes the task harder – the tower can collapse if the pieces are combined incorrectly. In addition to that, the players assumes the role of sorcerers, who can use various spells during the game to help themselves or make the task harder for their opponents. The game focuses mostly on multiplayer mode for up to four players in which the winner is the person whose building survives the longest time.

Party, Karaoke, Multiplayer, Music, Splitscreen, Singleplayer.
A karaoke game created by iNiS. It is a spin-off of one of Ubisoft's flagship franchises - Just Dance, a series developed since 2009. In contrast to Just Dance, Just Sing requires the player to sing along the lyrics which are displayed at the bottom of the screen. The game monitors the player's voice and reads the movements of their lips in order to evaluate their performance. Just Sing features the latest hits and can be enjoyed in several game modes, both for single and multiplayer experience (up to 4 players). An opportunity to shoot one's own video clip is an additional feature of the game, but the player can also share their clips with others. The game requires either Kinect or PlayStation Camera. Having neither of these devices, the player can still enjoy the game with a smartphone in their hand (a special application needs to be installed first).

Another expansion to the blockbuster digital card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by the Blizzard company. The add-on One Night in Karazhan introduces new adventure, in which we are invited to a great party organized by wizard Medivh in the titular tower. We meet various prominent people, like the majordomo Moroes, against whom obviously we can duel. All of this to find the host who has mysteriously vanished at the beginning of the party. Expansion does not offer any ground-shaking novelties, with the biggest one being introduction of a pack of 45 completely new cards. It also presents players with previously unseen board of Karazhan tower and enhances gameplay with portals, which warp time and space to allow for summoning of random minions. Finally, there are more class-specific challenges that enable us to acquire special cards.

A classic platformer game set in a science-fiction world and created by Garage 227 - an independent Brazilian developer. Shiny is set on the fictional planet Aurora, which is heading towards a collision with its sun. The player assumes the role of a robot called Kramer 227, which is one of the machines left behind by the humans. The protagonist does not accept his fate, instead, he even wishes to help other robots in leaving the planet before it gets too late. The player's goal here is to help Kramer to make its way through twenty different levels filled with traps and dangers. During the adventure, the robot has to gather the energy left in generators scattered throughout the maps and transfer it to its immobilized, fellow machines. What makes the game difficult is the fact that performing each action costs energy, which has to be replenished during exploration.

Strategy, Economic, Internet, jRPG, Multiplayer, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.
A mobile strategy game and a debut production of the Japanese studio BlazeGames. Akihiko Yoshida, art director of such hits as Final Fantasy Tactics or Bravely Default, was involved in its development. Battle Champs bears a resemblance to the famous Clash of Clans — the player’s task is to gather resources, build a settlement, and then defend it from other participants’ attacks. Apart from regular combat units, giants play an important role in Battle Champs. The story campaign is divided into a number of various missions where we learn the rules of the game — from the basics to advanced strategies. Apart from that, the game features a multiplayer mode that lets players form groups to fight giants, perform joint missions as quickly as possible in Time Trial, or assault other people’s bases. Battle Champs features a typically Japanese visuals style, although the developers made sure it offered high-quality animations and interesting details.

A strategy-simulation game developed by German studio Osmotic Studios. The title references the Orwellian theme of Big Brother and the internet surveillance of the modern society in face of global terrorism. The titular Orwell is the name of a computer system that tracks the citizens and finds people suspected of criminal activity. When the fictional city of Bonton becomes the victim of a series of terrorist attacks, the player assumes the role of an operator of the system and is tasked with identifying the terrorists. The gameplay mechanics are focused mostly on watching recordings and files related to the citizens and reporting any suspicious activity to specialized units. In the game the player will frequently bend constitutional laws and dig through private data, hack computers and even impersonate other people. However, one must be very careful because all actions can lead to various consequences.

Sports, Manager, Football Manager, Football, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.
A football manager from one of the most popular series of the genre. Championship Manager 17 is a free-to-play mobile game with microtransactions, developed by Square Enix's internal studio. As always, we assume the role of a manager running a football club, whose task is to lead his organization onto a path to victory and financial success. The player’s responsibilities include making transfers, organization of training sessions, and preparation of tactical plans for the matches. Of course, balancing the budget is a key issue, the one above all others. Championship Manager 17 makes use of an extensive database built on official licenses. The authors included up-to-date statistics and line-ups, a more realistic approach and an improved interface. Other novelties include the ability to hire assistants, who can relieve us from some duties, and a two-dimensional graphic engine, allowing us to follow the matches live, and modify tactics on the fly.
