Victor Vran: Fractured Worlds is an expansion pack to the 2015 hack'n'slash game Victor Vran that was developed by Haemimont Games. It requires the base game to be playable. In Fractured Worlds, the titular monster hunter is moved to a realm that was born as a result of the collision of a couple of fractured worlds. His job is to find all the pieces of the Astrolabe, an artifact that can change our hero's destiny. Fractured Worlds doesn't introduce any new gameplay mechanics. Just like in the base game, we will explore a new world and eliminate hordes of enemies that stand in our way. The expansion, however, offers a completely new story campaign with four enormous dungeons that change their layout on a daily basis and an endless dungeon known as Fracture. Fractured Worlds increases the game's level cap and adds additional space for destiny cards and some special talismans that, after being fully charged, can be activated to execute powerful special attacks.

Twin Soul is set in Russia, not long after the dissolution of the USSR. The players assume the roles of souls of dead people trapped in the purgatory, trying to find their way to the afterlife. Gameplay is focused on dealing with numerous monsters, each one with unique qualities, such as sharp vision or increased hearing. Since most of the monsters are really strong and the ammo for firearms found on the way is scarce, the best way to deal with opponents is to avoid open fight and sneak past them, distracting, or creating elaborate traps. It is also important for the two players to tightly cooperate with each other. Twin Soul features amazing atmosphere inspired by H.R. Giger’s art, David Lynch’s films and modern culture of Russia.

Arcade, 2D, Platformers, Singleplayer.

A 2D mobile platform game, utilizing the free-to-play model with microtransactions. Super Cat Bros. is based on oldschool platform games, so the plot is not of much importance. You play a cat named Alex, who has to find his five siblings on a mysterious island, and find a way to travel back home. You have to complete small 2D levels by fighting enemies and avoiding various dangers. One level may take you a few minutes, but you often need more than just one try, as they are difficult to beat. Since all the cats have unique abilities, not all of the levels can be completed by playing as just one character, so you have to return to some of them after unlocking the right cat. During the game, you collect bells, which you can use to buy items and recruit allies. Super Cat Bros. features an oldchool style, based on 16-bit platform games.

Racing, Formula 1, Singleplayer.

A mobile installment of the series of Formula 1 themed racing games created by Codemasters, genre veterans from Great Britain. As per title, F1 2016 Mobile recreates the 2016 season, with the game using authentic teams, vehicles, and circuits. During the gameplay, we can race head-to-head with F1 icons such as Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, or Sergio Perez. The game puts a lot of emphasis on handling and performance of the cars, which is made possible by a complex physics engine, unusual for a mobile title. For less experienced players, the game introduces a number of assistance systems, including brake support or power steering. The players can go through a real Formula 1 season, or create a customized one, with individual preferences as to number, location, and types of races. Aside from that, those less interested in career modes can take part a single race, or in more complex weekend races. F1 2016 Mobile doesn’t contain any multiplayer modes, with online rankings being the only substitute of such functions.

A unique logic puzzle game by Turbo Button, developed for virtual reality headgear. In Floor Plan you play as an unfortunate person, who gets stuck in an elevator, and your task is to fix the machine and escape. The game utilizes a first-person view; you are unable to move and you can only look around by moving your head. The game focuses on riding the elevator and stopping on various floors, where various puzzles await, some of them more complicated than the others. Each solved puzzle is a step towards your escape. Interestingly, the levels are located in varied, often odd places, and during the game you encounter many equally unusual characters, e.g. a snowman, a possessive robot or a mechanical cowboy.

A mobile installment of the popular economy simulation strategy game series in which we manage our own theme park. RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch was developed by the creators of RollerCoaster Tycoon World for PC: Nvizzio Creations. In RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, we traditionally assume the role of a newly-opened theme park’s manager and have to transform it into a grand amusement park that attracts crowds of visitors. This goal can be achieved by constructing new attractions, stores, restaurants, decorations, and other buildings that satisfy our guests’ needs. Moreover, we have to handle the purely business aspect that requires us to increase income and cut costs. In the game, the key role is played by the eponymous rollercoasters, the series’ hallmark. We can create them by using a simple touch system — by moving our finger across the screen, we draw their shape, and then choose materials for constructing each of their fragments. The production offers highly-detailed three-dimensional graphics.

Adventure, Crowdfunding, Humorous, Point-and-click, Science Fiction, Singleplayer.

A three-dimensional adventure game funded via Kickstarter, and a debut production from the Irish studio BillyGoat Entertainment. Her Majesty’s Spiffing is a humorous story taking place in modern times. The Queen of Great Britain has decided to add new lands to the empire, but the modern times don’t allow a simple conquest of the neighboring countries anymore. As a result, the Queen has established Special Planetary Investigative Force for Inhabiting New Galaxies – a government organization that prepares for the first manned space flight in the history of Great Britain, and the foundation of the Galactic British Empire. The mechanics of Her Majesty’s Spiffing are similar to what can be experienced in classic point-and-click adventure games – the creators have been visibly inspired by the games from the hands of developers such as Tim Shafer, Ron Gilbert, Gary Winnick, or Dave Grossman. Therefore, the players are occupied with exploration and search for items that are necessary for clearing the encountered obstacles, as well as conducting dialogues that push the plot forward. The humorous theme is complemented by cartoonish visuals.

Party, Music, Remaster/remake, Rhythm, Singleplayer, PlayStation Exclusive.

PaRappa the Rapper Remastered is a remaster of the music game released on PlayStation in 1996 and on PSP ten years later. We play as the titular rapping dog who tries his best to win the heart of his crush, Sunny Funny. PaRappa is aided by his two friends, cat enthusiast Katy Kat and the chubby bear PJ Berri, in his musical stunts. Gameplay did not change at all and remains the same as in the original game: PaRappa has to do many things to impress Sunny Funny. All of that happens to the beat of music and requires the players to have a sense of rhythm and good knowledge of the game's controls. The biggest improvement introduced by the remaster are the game's visuals, which are now in much higher resolution. The game also allows us to use the DualShock 4 controller as a metronome.

LocoRoco Remastered is, as the title suggests, a remastered version of the 2006 platform game that was released on PlayStation Portable. Gameplay focuses on shaking the pieces of the LocoRoco's world in order to move the game's spherical heroes to their destination points. We have to be careful though. There are many traps and obstacles that will make our job harder to do. In order to beat or avoid them, we have to rely on our heroes' specific abilities. If they are fed, they can grow in size and divide into smaller ones, if necessary. LocoRoco Remastered has improved visuals and game controls that use the motion detector found in DualShock 4 game pad.

The last expansion to the well-received game Shovel Knight. Both the add-on and the base game have been developed by Yacht Club Games. The main protagonist of the expansion is the titular King of Cards, who is one of the bosses the player has to fight as the Shovel Knight in the base game. The main protagonist has to prove their rights to the crown by defeating three usurpers from the neighboring lands. Similarly to the base game, Shovel Knight: King of Cards is a 2D platform game with RPG elements. The new hero fights and moves in a different manner than the previous protagonists - he mounts a short charge, which stuns the enemies and destroys some of the obstacles on the map. He also has a special ability - he can perform a pirouette on enemies' heads multiple times. As one progresses through the story, the character acquires more powerful weapons, armor, and new companions. An interesting element of the game is a minigame, in which one can play cards with NPCs. The gameplay revolves around the story campaign, which is well complemented by special challenges, in which one can test their skills in platform puzzles as well as combat.
