A third-person action game set in the universe of the popular Hasbro toy franchise. Contrary to the Transformers games released in recent years, the production by Platinum Games has nothing to do with Michael Bay’s movie series and is directly inspired by the animated TV series that aired in the USA in years 1984-87. In the title, we side with the noble Autobots to face the deceitful Decepticons whose leader, Megatron, discovered a technology that would allow him to transform Earth into a great cybernetic structure. Assuming the role of one of 5 robots, we have to thwart our enemy’s evil plans by using unique abilities and offensive techniques of each character. Moreover, they can be further developed in the course of the game. Thanks to the use of cel-shading technology, the game quite faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the cartoon original. Another highlight of the title is the dubbing performed by the actors who voiced the TV series.

A sequel to the unconventional, multiplayer action game developed under the aegis of Electronic Arts Corporation by PopCap Games - a studio which until then specialized in casual games. The story of the game once again focuses on the rivalry between plants and zombies. This time, the player is tasked with reclaiming a small city called Suburbia from the hands of living dead. The gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is similar to the one from the first installment in the series and focuses mostly on multiplayer modes. The player can choose from more than hundred “heroes”, possessing different weapons and special abilities. Among them are both the heroes known from the first game, as well as completely new ones (it is also possible to import your favorite characters from the previous game). Frostbite engine, known from such AAA games as Battlefield or Need for Speed, is responsible for the high quality of the game's visual aspects.

The player assumes the role of either a male or a female character. Both the characters were once huge fans of digimon and one day they are taken to the virtual homeland of the creatures, which makes the characters re-discover their childhood passion and take part in the adventure of their lives along with new friends. The game is played from a third-person view and the player explores a fully three-dimensional world. The protagonist is accompanied by two digimon and the player can issue various orders to them in real time while in combat. Alongside progression, the player explores subsequent locations, solves various puzzles, fights enemies encountered, as well as talks to and helps different NPCs.
