Another entry in a jRPG series, started in 1996 by Tri-Ace studio, that combines elements of fantasy and science-fiction. Plot of Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness has been set in universe well-known to fans of the series, with culture and technology resembling that of 16th century’s Europe. The story takes place 500 years after the events of the previous game, and its main hero is a 23 years old knight, Fidel Camus, who tries to protect his home village Stahr.

Another installment in a series of SEGA's jRPGs that emphasize both tactical and strategic aspects; the franchise has its origins in 2009, on the Nintendo DS handhelds. The plot combines threads from the previous iterations, and is set in three different epochs. Thus the player is taken 10 thousand years back and visits the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Then the game fasts-forward to 2100, and the action now takes place in Tokyo.

A dungeon crawler developed by Nippon Ichi Software. Criminal Girls: Invite Only is a new and updated version of an original jRPG released on PlayStation Portable in 2010. The player takes care of the souls of seven girls suffering punishments in hell. The protagonists’ sins can be atoned once they climb the highest floor of the hellish spire and defeat various monsters – only then can they earn the right to be reborn in the real world.

A turn-based RPG developed by the experienced Japanese studio Level 5. The game was inspired by the popular series of Pokemon games. In Yo-Kai Watch the player assumes the role of a young boy who receives a magic watch from a mysterious creature. The watch allows him to see the title yokai, sympathetic ghosts that live in the world. The protagonist is tasked with helping various people, but other, less friendly yokai are trying to prevent him from doing that.

Our hero learns about the existence of mysterious creatures from different dimensions called Mirages, which attack our world unnoticed and absorb human energy known as Performa. Allying himself with a few friendly Mirages, the boy steps up to fight against the enemy.

In the game, you manage a declining farm, trying to restore it to its former glory. You play mostly by taking care of your animals, buying and planting seeds, gathering and selling crops, and also meeting various NPCs.

Trails of Cold Steel II begins a month after the events depicted in the first installment. The civil war in Erebonia began for good. Rean's goals are to find the remaining students from the Seventh Grade, as well as to put an end to the bloody conflict, which has torn the protagonist's native country apart.

Summon Night 6: Lost Borders tells of three characters, each having their own companion: a flying creature with unique abilities.
