The action begins in 1652, i.e. during the period of the greatest pirate activity in the Caribbean Sea. The authors have prepared 6 million miles of lands and oceans, where we will come across, among others, 70 cities ready to be plundered.

Raven's Cry is a pirate-themed action game featuring elements of sailing simulation. The initial developer team, Finnish studio Octane Games, was replaced by Reality Pump during development. The game's protagonist, Christopher Raven, is a man obsessed with a burning desire for bloody revenge on the pirates who murdered his parents many years ago. The dark plot of Raven's Cry is greatly influenced by the player’s choices.
