Another installment in the series of dark action RPGs, initiated and developed by Japanese studio From Software. The title is set in the same fantasy universe, in terms of content however, it offers a completely new story in which we visit 12 previously inaccessible locations. At the same time, the game features a more extensive plot, and the gameplay itself is accompanied by over an hour of cutscenes. The production includes as many as 12 character classes, 45 new enemies, 15 challenging bosses, 100 weapons, 40 pieces of armor and nearly 200 other items. One of the most important new features is the possibility of sacrificing the bodies of defeated enemies, which allows us to summon certain characters or haunt another player’s game. New sword fighting techniques were also introduced, and we learn them gradually as we progress in the game. Both the atmosphere characteristic of the series, and the high level of difficulty have been preserved in the sequel.

A sequel to the successful action RPG created by CI Games - a Polish team behind the development of such franchises as Sniper Ghost Warrior or Art of Murder. Tomasz Gop took part in production of the game as well. He is an experienced gamemaker who had previously worked in CD Projekt RED as a senior producer of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The Lords of the Fallen series is set in a dark fantasy world, where humanity is forced to face the armies of a fallen god. A group of warriors who have a lot to answer for themselves is sent first to the fight against the tyrant. The player assumed the role of one such fighter in the first installment. Contrary to its predecessor, Lords of the Fallen 2 offers a more extensive plot that aims to spark the interest of a wider group of players. In terms of the mechanics, the sequel is still an action RPG focusing on exploration and arcade combat. Combat itself was additionally extended however, in order to make it feel deeper. As a role-playing game, Lords of the Fallen 2 allows us to choose a specialty and develop the protagonist in our preferred direction.

In a manner befitting a sandbox game, players are given a lot of freedom at exploring locations and undertaking various tasks. The game stands out with its high difficulty level and complex multiplayer mode.

An action RPG and a spiritual successor to the bestselling Dark Souls series and its predecessor, Demon's Souls. The game was developed by their creator – Hidetaka Miyazaki – and his studio From Software. The plot takes us into a dark fantasy universe presented in a style reminiscent of the nineteenth-century Victorian era. Residents of a bleak metropolis called Yharnam are afflicted by a mysterious plague which turns people into ferocious beasts. The goal of the game is to discover the city's secrets and to determine who or what is responsible for the deadly disease. Gameplay mechanics do not differ from the patterns known from Dark Souls, focusing mainly on the advanced combat system. Apart from parrying, dodging and quick counter-attacks they also include the option of using a firearm. The artwork is remarkable, and the game world is much larger and more open, which was made possible thanks to the potential of the eight generation consoles.

A third-person action game developed by Team Ninja studio (known from titles like Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden) under the supervision of Koei Tecmo company. We play as a samurai fighting against various enemies, among which we will find both humans and monsters. We cut our way through the enemies not only with conventional weaponry, but also with special abilities of our hero and the magical power enchanted in his sword. Gameplay is a mix of games like Onimusha and Dark Souls. This means that the difficulty level is high and it forces the player to make use of different tactics, dodges, blocking and powerful, complex combos. Interestingly, game has been announced as early as 2005 and was supposed to be one of the launching titles for PlayStation 3. However, due to a few complications, the developed has been postponed, and the final game will make it now to next generation of consoles.

The developers expanded the story of the basic game, added new NPCs, improved the item descriptions, and balanced the character progression system. The game offers ten character classes, each having their own different skills and equipment. The game emphasizes combat with different kinds of weapons - each has their own special attacks and character animations. In combat, the player can cast spells and use miracles, based on the faith attribute. Whether the protagonist becomes a better warrior or a mage depends on the development choices made by the player. A prominent feature of the game is the multiplayer mode allowing players to leave tips and warnings for other players.

A third-person action game featuring roguelike elements. After the Shadowgrounds series, it is the second major game developed by Harebrained Schemes, an independent American studio. Necropolis is set in a vast, magical, procedurally generated dungeon complex that constantly changes its shape. We play as a daredevil who vows to discover the secrets of the place and defeat the sorcerer who rules the complex and the intelligence he created, which feeds on the souls of those unfortunate enough to fall in its clutches. When it comes to the gameplay, it is an action game at its core; with a demanding combat system requiring good timing and identification of the enemy's weaknesses. We can increase our chances by the use of magical potions brewed from the ingredients we find in the dungeon. We can also take advantage of mystical spell books and runes. The game does not lack humor and features an original graphical design with relatively simple 3D models of characters and objects.

The Ringed City is the second and final DLC to Dark Souls III, a well-received action RPG developed by From Software. Gameplay mechanics in The Ringed City remain unchanged. The DLC introduces a new mini-campaign in which we are chasing the Slave Knight Gael, who is searching for the Dark Soul of Humanity. It takes place in a new location where we will find new challenges, NPCs, and enemies. Just like in every Dark Souls game, we will have to face powerful bosses when playing The Ringed City. There are also new pieces of equipment and magic spells available. Dark Souls III: The Ringed City is available for the Season Pass owners, but can be bought separately. Original production combining elements of RPG action, platforming and adventure game, in which we play the role of a Traveller walking around the gloomy world, fighting with sinister Demiurgs and trying to find the creator of the land of Hypnos - the title King. Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King in an original way combines presenting the action from behind the protagonist's back with showing it from the side, smoothly moving from one perspective to another.
