A stand-alone expansion for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War developed by Relic Entertainment. The basic novelty introduced in Dark Crusade expansion are the two new factions. The first one are the humanoid robots known as Necron. They are a faction of undead killing machines. The second new faction is the Tau Empire. They are technologically advanced and have remarkable skills in diplomacy. The game takes place on a desert planet named Kronus, which sparks also the interest of other factions known from previous installments of the series (there are seven factions in total). In the campaign mode the player must conquer 25 provinces of the planet. The developers decided not to create a typical, lineal story (except for a few key moments), instead giving the players complete freedom in conquering the whole area. A modified character development system is one of the novelties introduced by the expansion – the faction leader can buy better equipment and skills with special points obtained during the game.

A real time strategy in a medieval fantasy setting developed by Haemimont Games studio. Tzar: The Burden of the Crown takes place in a land of Keanor, which is ruled by the Dark Lord and his minions after the death of king Roan. We play as the son of the latter, prince Sartor, raised by a wizard to defeat the evil and restore his kingdom to its former glory. Gameplay takes a lot from typical RTS titles, like the classic Warcraft series. We must develop our domain and add new structures, along with gathering resources and reinforcing our army before facing an enemy. The play style differs depending on which faction we play as (Europeans, Arabs or Asians) and which path we choose (The Way of Warriors, The Way of Magic, The Way of Religion or The Way of Trade and Crafts).

An economic strategy game for adult players. It was developed by Interactive Strip. The player's task is to establish and expand a porn empire. The game is divided into three parts. First, the player is required to earn enough money to buy counterfeit documents in order to escape from a desert town, where the protagonist was left alone by treacherous companions after a bank heist gone wrong. Second, the player has to set up and develop their porn business - the player produces porn films and extends their studio. In the last part, global expansion begins and the player develops a chain of sex-shops and sends a 24/7 TV broadcast. A model called Lula is the player's main business partner, but one can also hire other actresses and actors. One of the player's tasks is to shoot porn films, which requires them to select appropriate stars and create scenarios. Lula: The Sexy Empire offers two-dimensional graphics, resembling comic books in terms of the visuals. The game features significant erotic content.

A real time strategy developed by the Ukrainian developer Best Way and the German team at Digitalmindsoft. The action of the game takes place during World War II, offering three story campaigns enabling us to see the conflict from three sides: German, Soviet, and Allied, while the main emphasis is put on the Soviet campaign, telling a story of two Russian students that enrolled in the army. The ferocious battles led to the creation of a powerful bond linking both heroes. In Men of War, the player receives access to over 50 types of units, deployed around the battlefields in Greece, Northern Africa, Germany, as well as Italy and Ukraine. Completing all three campaigns unlocks additional five missions. Moreover, the game received major upgrades to multiplayer mode – a new nation, Japan, as well as new multiplayer modes in the form of capture the flag and high-value cargo, while our actions are constantly registered by a system of grades and statistics. The add-on features the titular Venetian culture and with it the new merchant ships, the possibility to sabotage opponent's progress, and the institution of city council, which can be manipulated and bribed in order to take control of a foreign metropolis without bloodshed. Moreover, Anno 1404: Venice offers in total three hundred entirely new missions like economic race or loading of ships, sixty additional items, as well as the opportunity to discover and explore previously inaccessible kind of territory – a volcanic island. The biggest novelty is a multiplayer mode for up to 4 people, that was absent in the base game. Players can now compete against each other or form alliances against an opponent controlled by the computer.

The second installment in the series of strategy games which was started in 2001 by Firefly studio. The developers decided not to experiment with gameplay mechanics and instead only expanded the best features of the original. The player can once again choose from two separate campaigns which focus on either the economic or the military aspects of the gameplay. The list of available siege machines and defense tools was expanded, the realism of the game was improved and a possibility to use various battle formations was introduced. The economic part of the game was improved as well – now it offers almost 140 buildings and 20 different production chains. The necessity to keep the stronghold clean was introduced. Ignoring this can lead to plague or an epidemic outbreak. The most visible change is a fully three-dimensional graphics engine. Thanks to it one can observe the settlement from top-down perspective and the battles, in which up to 1000 units can participate, now take place also inside buildings.

An open-world economic tycoon game that focuses on managing a railroad company. The credit for developing this title goes to a Czech gamemaker - Jan Zeleny, who worked on the game for many years. Inspired by such classics as Transport Tycoon or Railroad Tycoon II, Mashinky gives us an opportunity to lay tracks, build and upgrade stations, work on new models of engines, and even to view the game world through the eyes of a train driver in charge of keeping the machine on the route set by the player. Apart from an FPP view and an aerial view, which is typical for strategies, Mashinky brings a special, schematic-isometric perspective that displays the map in the form of a legible engineering grid. This view mode is used to create new intersections of tracks and to mark spots for new structures. The game's economic system is definitely its distinctive feature, as it is not based on virtual money, but rather, on tokens inspired by board games. Those can be obtained through completing various assignments, and can be spent, for instance, on upgrading one's rolling stock - the electric tokens obtained through delivering fuel to a power plant allow the player to make progress towards electric trains. Because the game world is generated procedurally, each playthrough is a unique adventure.

The story of Dawn of War focuses on one of the many conflicts in the world of Warhammer. It focuses on Gabriel Angelos – the leader of Blood Ravens chapter of the Space Marines - who tries to stop an Ork invasion on his planet. Similarly as in the majority of real-time strategies, the essence of the game is leading troops during combat. Thanks to the unique setting and various futuristic weapons, the battles are spectacular and very brutal. The game lacks the typical resource gathering element, usually used for improving the base. Instead, the resource system was based on conquering and controlling key locations. The way how units look is worth mentioning – they are based on authentic figurines created by Games Workshop.

Most of the in-game time is spent on giving orders to a small squads of mechs, performing all sorts of missions. Phantom Brigade’s campaign is very dynamic. On the world’s map you can select which targets or territories to attack next, while taking under consideration the fact that resources that you gain or lose have direct impact on how the entire conflict enfolds. Each mech under your command can be upgraded and customized, thus increasing its combat effectiveness. However, even the most powerful mech is useless without a pilot, therefore, a key to success is protecting your men from taking damage, while forcing enemy pilots to leave their machines.
