An extensive turn-based strategy game that came out as the fifth installment in the Civilization series, a popular franchise created by Sid Meier. Sid Meier's Civilization V was developed by Firaxis Games Studios supported by the publishing company Take Two Interactive. In accordance with the tradition of the series, player becomes the leader of a selected nation and leads it throughout a period of several thousand years. Gameplay mechanics underwent no major changes, and the new solutions (such as implementation of neutral city-states, hexagonal map grid, and the limit of one unit per field) are mostly results of evolution of previously employed ideas. Some visible changes were made to the visuals, which are now powered by a brand new graphic engine.

Transport Fever is an economic strategy by a Swiss studio, Urban Games. The previous game by this team was Train Fever, released in 2014. Contrary to that title, in Transport Fever the developers decided to offer not only land-based transport management, but aerial and marine transport as well. The goal of this game hasn't changed however - it still is about developing an efficient transport network connecting different locations, and allowing smooth transportation of goods and passengers. In Transport Fever players need to design routes and railways, erect strategic buildings such as railway stations, airports, and docking bays. The network has to be maintained and upgraded to meet the increasing demands of the market. The whole transport empire is strictly dependent on the economy; the game requires a reasonable management of the funds.

Statistics of generals and units are improving with player’s progress. Naval combat and multi-stage sieges have been added, and weather conditions have greater impact on battles than before. Moreover, Anno 1404: Venice offers in total three hundred entirely new missions like economic race or loading of ships, sixty additional items, as well as the opportunity to discover and explore previously inaccessible kind of territory – a volcanic island. The gameplay focuses on exploration of a randomly generated galaxy, developing economy, technology and diplomacy. The game also features epic battles of powerful armadas of spaceships which can be freely modified – the player can decide about the ship's engine, weapons and other systems. The skirmishes – similarly as the whole game – are turn-based and the player’s actions are limited to supporting his troops or weakening the opponent with special action cards. The developers did their best to faithfully recreate the epoch, including economy, trade, and political relations. Players can choose from 21 playable nations that differ in more than appearance, but also preferring various combat tactics. The story campaign lets you expand across Europe, Middle East, as well as South and Latin America. As always, gameplay consists of two layers – turn-based, in which you manage your kingdom, and real-time, where the battles are fought. As compared with the previous games in the series, this one offers extended tactical options, including e.g. new siege weapons and heavy artillery. Furthermore, the visuals, as well as animations and the destruction model, were significantly improved.

As our business grows, we will invest the money we made in better train engines, more modern carriages, other equipment, and coal - our train's fuel. The game also features a nonlinear plot that focuses on finding the lost family and trying to save a group of native Americans from relocation.

The third installment in the popular RTS game series set in the period of World War II and developed by Fireglow. Even though the game utilizes the framework created for the previous installments in the series, the authors decided to implement a number of changes, improvements, and fresh solutions, the most prominent being a new graphics engine. The so-called Sudden Strike Next7 can render enormous and diverse locations as well as multiple units at the same time, allowing for creating dynamic lighting and shadowing effects. Because of that, the players can freely move the camera and precisely zoom in on the events taking place on a battlefield. Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory offers an entirely new interface allowing one to control multiple squads – this regards both ground and naval units. The game puts a strong emphasis on the battle preparation – the developers have taken care to introduce a new logistics system, as well as the option to create defensive systems. What is also worth mentioning, the game supports multiplayer matches that accompany the standard single-player campaign.

An original strategy game with RPG elements, taking place in a unique dieselpunk universe of 1920+, created by a Polish concept artist Jakub Rozalski. The game portrays an alternative history of Europe at the turn of the 19th century, in which humanity used their knowledge and means to build powerful walking machines, used not only in battle but also e.g. in agriculture. Thus the gameplay features not only the cavalry, airplanes and prototype tanks, but also rather primitive and awkward mechs, seemingly not of this age. At the same time, the game is firmly grounded in Polish history and references important events such as the Battle of Warsaw.
