The fifth installment in the popular series of economic strategy games developed by studio Haemimont Games, which is responsible for the franchise since the third entry in the series. The game makes the player a leader of a small tropical island, responsible for governing it all the way from the colonial age through modern times and to the near future. Your tasks will be, as usual, to develop the city and take care of its industry and economy. You must also react in real time to the changing situation caused by natural disasters, different needs of the society, and global politics. The new installment adds the possibility to create your own dynasty and entrust the most important positions in the government to your own family members. For the first time in the history of the series the game features a multiplayer mode for up to four players.

The third entry in the ground-breaking real-time strategy game series, this time calling back to the very first game from 1995. The game itself, however, takes us to the beginning of 21st century and once again puts us in charge of the weakened Nod Brotherhood or GDI alliance that tries to maintain the world peace under the command of General Salomon. Despite what we could have thought, the charismatic leader of Nod did not die under the ruins of his temple and is quick to begin a new conflict, which can change the world forever. Gameplay of Tiberian Sun doesn’t differ much from the original, though the creators from Westood studio made sure to implement some changes and novelties. Each faction has new buildings and units that force us to develop new tactics. There also additions like new, three-dimensional game engine, improved cutscenes with well-known actors (including James Earl Jones and Michael Biehn) and enhanced multiplayer for up to 8 players.

The player assumes command of a civilization chosen (13 in total here) and leads them through subsequent stages of development. For example, one can play as Franks, Mongols, Celts or Vikings. Compared to the first installment, the visuals were improved (more detailed), as was the AI of the player's subordinates - as a result, additional orders can be given to them, such as to patrol the vicinity, to guard a designated spot, or to follow a specific target. Furthermore, an option to group units into various formations was introduced. Apart from that, the player can now trade and manipulate the prices of different resources. Age of Empires II: The Age of the Kings features both single player modes (such as a campaign devoted to a Scottish national hero William Wallace) and a multiplayer variant (PC version only).

We begin by piecing our train together and hiring employees: from train drivers controlling our engine to gunmen who will guard our precious cargo from robbers. Hiring the right people for the job is crucial because each and every one of them has different, more or less useful skills. As our business grows, we will invest the money we made in better train engines, more modern carriages, other equipment, and coal - our train's fuel. The game also features a nonlinear plot that focuses on finding the lost family and trying to save a group of native Americans from relocation.

The work was overseen by Jordan Weisman himself – the developer of the acclaimed series, MechWarrior, as well as the original BattleTech tabletop from 1984. The game is set in the year 3025, in a universe in which influential noble houses compete for dominance over individual zones of the Galaxy. In terms of mechanics, the game is a turn-based strategy with RPG elements, in which powerful mechs take the center stage. A complex remake of the iconic game Jagged Alliance 2, developed by Coreplay. The game builds on a non-linear campaign that takes the players to a fictional country of Arulco ruled with an iron fist by Queen Deidranna, who came up with a scheme and deprived Enrico Chivaldori - the player’s employer - of his rightful crown. As one might easily guess, the player is tasked with ending this reign of terror and shooting the usurper down in flames. As in the original release, in Jagged Alliance: Back in Action, one leads to battle a team comprising diverse soldiers, each exhibiting a unique set of features and abilities that are developed through the experience they gain on the battlefields; one might also boost their performance with new weapons and armors. Arulco has been divided into 50 sectors waiting to be conquered - often, a player has to throw himself at the mercy of the natives, who can offer some help or strengthen and join the team. In comparison to the original release, Jagged Alliance: Back in Action features not only refreshed visuals, but also a number of improvements - the most prominent being the abandonment of a turn-based system in favor of real-time combat. This new system requires the players to plan the actions for multiple characters at the same time. Moreover, the players get at their disposal a wide range of commands, with which they can order their soldiers to climb, crawl, and aim at specific enemies’ body parts.

Strategy, Games Workshop, Internet, LAN, Multiplayer, RTS, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Warhammer 40,000.

A stand-alone expansion for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War developed by Relic Entertainment. The basic novelty introduced in Dark Crusade expansion are the two new factions. The first one are the humanoid robots known as Necron. They are a faction of undead killing machines. The second new faction is the Tau Empire. They are technologically advanced and have remarkable skills in diplomacy. The game takes place on a desert planet named Kronus, which sparks also the interest of other factions known from previous installments of the series (there are seven factions in total). In the campaign mode the player must conquer 25 provinces of the planet. The developers decided not to create a typical, lineal story (except for a few key moments), instead giving the players complete freedom in conquering the whole area. A modified character development system is one of the novelties introduced by the expansion – the faction leader can buy better equipment and skills with special points obtained during the game.

Strategy, Internet, LAN, Multiplayer, RTS, Singleplayer, War Strategy, The Middle Ages, Turn-based.

The next installment in a strategy game franchise from Creative Assembly. The game is set in the period of years 1080-1503, once again taking the players into the Medieval period. The developers did their best to faithfully recreate the epoch, including economy, trade, and political relations. Players can choose from 21 playable nations that differ in more than appearance, but also preferring various combat tactics. The story campaign lets you expand across Europe, Middle East, as well as South and Latin America. As always, gameplay consists of two layers – turn-based, in which you manage your kingdom, and real-time, where the battles are fought. As compared with the previous games in the series, this one offers extended tactical options, including e.g. new siege weapons and heavy artillery. Furthermore, the visuals, as well as animations and the destruction model, were significantly improved.

A real time strategy in a medieval fantasy setting developed by Haemimont Games studio. Tzar: The Burden of the Crown takes place in a land of Keanor, which is ruled by the Dark Lord and his minions after the death of king Roan. We play as the son of the latter, prince Sartor, raised by a wizard to defeat the evil and restore his kingdom to its former glory. Gameplay takes a lot from typical RTS titles, like the classic Warcraft series. We must develop our domain and add new structures, along with gathering resources and reinforcing our army before facing an enemy. The play style differs depending on which faction we play as (Europeans, Arabs or Asians) and which path we choose (The Way of Warriors, The Way of Magic, The Way of Religion or The Way of Trade and Crafts).

An economic strategy game for adult players. It was developed by Interactive Strip. The player's task is to establish and expand a porn empire. The game is divided into three parts. First, the player is required to earn enough money to buy counterfeit documents in order to escape from a desert town, where the protagonist was left alone by treacherous companions after a bank heist gone wrong. Second, the player has to set up and develop their porn business - the player produces porn films and extends their studio. In the last part, global expansion begins and the player develops a chain of sex-shops and sends a 24/7 TV broadcast. A model called Lula is the player's main business partner, but one can also hire other actresses and actors. One of the player's tasks is to shoot porn films, which requires them to select appropriate stars and create scenarios. Lula: The Sexy Empire offers two-dimensional graphics, resembling comic books in terms of the visuals. The game features significant erotic content.
