Ubisoft will soon enrich the console service with its games. No, it's not about Game Pass, but PlayStation Plus, which will soon include the Ubisoft+ Classics subscription.
Some time ago (seemingly) credible rumors broke on the web, mentioning the addition of Ubisoft's games to the Game Pass service. They were quickly corrected but it turns out that the French publisher will indeed add its titles to the subscription - but not Microsoft's
The new announcement confirms that Ubisoft will be coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles "in the future." For now it was announced that on May 24 (June 23 in Europe) a new PlayStation Plus subscription service will be made available: Ubisoft Classics.
The name may be a bit misleading, as there are no truly "classic" titles on the list. Ubisoft Classics will enable us to check out a "selection of popular games," including bestsellers like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Tom Clancy's The Division and Far Cry 4. To start subscribers will receive twenty-seven games, and by the end of the year this number will increase to fifty titles.
Ubisoft Classics will be available as part of the Extra and Premium variants of the PS Plus subscription.
