Sekiro Shadows Die Twice: Divine Dragon - Main Boss
Note - before the battle with the main boss we recommend to copy a game save. Because this is a story-related boss; after the battle with him, part of the world will change and some areas of the location may become inaccessible (including, for example, battles with optional bosses that you did not win). In addition, only before the fight with this boss you can perform certain actions that will lead you to one of the three available endings of the game, we have described it in more detail in the Endings chapter.

The fight with the boss begins in the Fountainhead Palace. You have to swim under the lake, bypassing the Great Carp, and a sculptor idol the Palace Grounds. Go to the top of the mountain and then to the chapel. Along the way, you'll encounter a few familiar enemies that you can basically bypass and run to the next sculptor idol on the slope: the Sanctum. Press the action key to pray at the temple on the top of the mountain. This way you will get to the battle arena with the boss.

This duel is not a big challenge, you can even say - that its quite easy battle. You don't have to use prosthetic tools here. Instead, you may use items like medical stuff (Gourd), Antidote Powder / Green Mossy Gourd? From the lightning you may protect yourself by eating the Eel Liver.

At the first stage of the fight around you will be a lot of ghostly characters who are inflicting some toxic fumes. You don't have to fight them; wait for the branches to grow out of the ground after a while. Climb on a branch, clear any target and move to the monster, causing him a critical blow - this way you will defeat all evil specters. You have to do this step twice to advance to the second stage of the duel (optionally, if there are few points left on the boss health bar, you can manually defeat multiple monsters).

In the second stage of the battle you have to deal with the dragon. The scheme of the battle is simple: go to the branches sticking out of the ground and by using grappling hook, climb on one of them. Then observe on which one the electricity appears. Using your grappling hook move to this branch - you will be electrocuted and thrown into the air. Before you touch the ground, you need to press the sword attack button to send the beam to the boss (or anywhere - if you touch the ground, you'll be severely electrocuted). To hit the boss, do not forget to aim at him.

This step has to be repeated several times. When the boss has around 20% health bar, for a while they will disappear and you need to perform the dodges - branches will appear again to give you the opportunity to strike fatal blows. Once you do so, just run up to the boss, move on his sword and perform the final blow.
During the duel, the boss uses several fighting techniques:
- vertical cut - it is enough to perform jumps or run in the direction; boss always does three consecutive attacks.
- oblique cuts - double attack, from left to right, and another reverse; only, when you are near. Jump on the branches, to avoid all attacks,
- throwback - sometimes a strong gust of wind will throw you back, this attack does no damage.
- special attack - when you see a red marker over the boss's head, get ready to jump. These are two attacks that move on the ground.

When attacking the boss with lightning make sure that the enemy is preparing to attack, when you jump on to the branch of electricity - if the enemy does not allow you to throw lightning through a sword attack and you touch the ground or branches, you may get electrocuted and die instantly.
