A remastered edition of a classic adventure game created by LucasArts in 1993. That game, along with its sequel, Maniac Mansion, became famous as the grandfather of modern adventure games. The Remastered Edition was prepared by Double Fine Productions, a studio founded by Tim Schafer – one of the co-creators of the original hit. In the game you play as a trio of heroes who are trying to save the world from a threat posed by the titular tentacle. After coming into contact with an unknown substance it acquired consciousness and high intelligence. The only salvation seems to be traveling back in time in order to prevent the tentacle from being born. However, after the time machine malfunctions, the situation gets more complicated, as the heroes get trapped in three different historical periods. The creators made sure that the new edition was faithful to the original ideas, offering as much absurd humor as the original and the unique 2D visuals that are reminiscent of classic cartoons by Warner Bros.

If we manage to ingratiate ourselves with them, we can count on unique and incredibly valuable gifts that will make staying alive much easier.

The remastered edition offers higher-quality textures, new animations, improved lighting and shading effects, as well as improved sounds. Apart from the single-player campaign, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered features ten most popular maps for multiplayer competition. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the game is featured as a bonus in the special edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

Dragon Age II: Legacy is a new adventure that can be started at any moment during the main campaign. It starts with an attack of a dwarven Cartel that hunts the Hawke family for an unknown reason. The investigation takes the protagonist and his companions to a Grey Warden prison in the mountains, where they discover the truth about the the protagonist's father and the identity of his persecutors, and also face the most powerful of all Darkspawn. Apart from the aforementioned prison, the expansion introduces several other areas, including vast wastelands. We will encounter a few new beasts on our travels, such as brontos or genlock alphas that hide behind giant shields. Beside the main storyline, Dragon Age II: Legacy offers side quests as well as previously unknown armor sets and special weapons that can be customized.

Apart from standard infantry units, the battlefields are full of a variety of war machines – from X-wings and TIE Fighters to Star Destroyers and YT-1300 freight vessels. At some point during the playthrough, one can face the legendary Jedi Knights and the Sith Lords. Interestingly enough, players who prefer a more individual experience can also find something for themselves in this game, since Star Wars Battlefront II offers a number of non-linear missions with a well-written backstory.

The sequel to the 2006’s third-person action game which was created as a response to the popularity of the Grand Theft Auto series. The action of Saints Row 2 takes place several years after the events of the original, when its protagonist, wishing to take revenge on the traitors that made him lose his current influence, finds himself in serious trouble. Mechanics-wise, Saints Row 2 does not introduce too many novelties and bases on the tried solutions of the original. In the game, we once again assume the role of a Stilwater gang’s member, and our tasks it to perform subsequent missions and thus progressively build respect that is essential to buy new vehicles, weapons, or items of clothing. The main differences between the two installments of the series include, first and foremost, a significantly bigger area to explore, a large number of previously unavailable vehicles, and even richer customization options for the protagonist.

As the protagonist was chasing after the criminal, an accident occurred and Tanner was put into coma. The game takes place in the dreams of the protagonist. This allowed the developers to introduce some innovative solutions which impact the dynamics of the game. The game introduces Shift system which allows the player to switch between all vehicles in the range of sight almost completely freely. The developers recreated more than a hundred licensed vehicles and the game takes place in the giant virtual recreation of the city of San Francisco which has the size of 209 square miles. Polished driving system and damage system makes the game more realistic.

To some extent, mechanics resemble those in the original Team Fortress, which means completing subsequent missions, despite the other team's efforts to prevent that. There are 9 well-balanced classes which feature unique abilities. Cooperation – the key to success – consists in the skillful use of character abilities that supplement each other. The most characteristic element of the game are the exaggerated heroes and humorous visuals that go against the hyper-realism trend, employing the style of an animated movie.

The action of Resident Evil 2 is set after the events shown in the first installment – nearly all citizens of Raccoon City have been infected by a mysterious virus, which changed them into bloodthirsty zombies. Once again, the player gets to control two characters – this time around it's Leon, a young police officer and Claire, a journalist. Their task is to save Raccoon City from complete destruction and stop the virus before it spreads all over the world. In Resident Evil 2, gameplay revolves around exploration and solving environmental puzzles – another important aspect of the game is fighting numerous foes using a wide range of weapons, limited by scarce amounts of ammunition. As befits an installment in the Resident Evil series, in order to survive and escape consecutive dangers, the player has to carefully manage the supplies they acquire on their adventure.

The game still focuses on managing a settlement by gathering resources, constructing new buildings, discovering new areas of the map and leading selected nation through various ages. Fighting enemy is an important aspect of the game – the battles are fought by infantry, cavalry, siege machines and powerful artillery. In addition to a single-player mode, the game features advanced multiplayer mode.

The game runs on a modified version of id Tech 5 engine, known from e.g. Rage.

To do this, you mostly use a special device that allows you to manipulate energy and transfer if from object to object. You also have to operate various mechanisms and intelligent machines, as well as complete occasional platform challenges.

Franklin is another of the characters the player will be in control of in this game; one day, he (Franklin) discovers that he has died. The player will also assume control of two detectives investigating a case of a body found nearby; Dolores on the other hand, needs to read the testament of her rich uncle. When it comes to the story, the creators mixed a unique taste in humor with different possible endings. All of this is complemented by visuals modeled after LucasArts' classics, as well as an interface resembling the legendary SCUMM system.

Production is fully compatible with Steam Workshop, allowing the players to share their works with other users.

A co-op-oriented FPP action game and a unique combination of a Counter Strike-type shooter and survival horror. Left 4 Dead takes place in the apocalyptic United States, ravaged by a deadly virus, which got out of scientists' control and changes humans into bloodthirsty monsters. You play as one of the few survivors immune to the virus, and your task is to get out of a series of locations overrun by the mutants. However, you can either choose to stand on the other survivors' side (where 4 different characters are available) or join the mutants (where you can play as one of the four kinds of monsters with differing abilities). While the strength of the mutants lies mostly in their numbers, the survivors must cooperate closely with each other to win.

A 1992 cult shooter game, often called the “forefather” of 3D FPS games. Wolfenstein 3D was developed by the famous studio id Software, also known from such titles as Doom or Quake. You play as William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, an Allied special forces spy, who undertakes dangerous missions on enemy territory. Blazkowicz is sent to Nazi Germany to infiltrate Castle Hollehammer, a secret base where research on creating a super-soldier is conducted. The singleplayer campaign consists of six episodes, starting with getting out of the eponymous Castle Wolfenstein. In the enclosed locations of the game, you face various opponents, from guard dogs, through foot soldiers, to powerful mutants—at the end of every level, you have to fight a mighty boss enemy. The levels are labyrinth-like, and your primary task in each of them is to find the exit key and proceed to the next location.

A first-person shooter set in a science fiction realm, created by id Software studio, previously known mainly for the arcade series Commander Keen and the groundbreaking Wolfenstein 3D. Action of Doom takes place in the near future, and players play the part of a cosmic Marine who, for insubordination, is sent to UAC corporation's secret research facility on Mars. When, in the fallout of an interdimensional gate experiment, the base gets overrun by bloodthirsty monsters from outer space, we have to provide reconnaissance and, of course, eliminate all potential threat. In each of nearly 30 levels of the game the player's task is to find an exit, the keys to open it, and to eliminate all encountered monsters using a wide arsenal of both classic and futuristic weapons. The game features a large dose of brutality, claustrophobic atmosphere, and three-dimensional graphic design.
