A sequel to the popular economic strategy Cities XL, released in 2009 and re-relased twice in enhanced editions. The game was produced by Focus Home Interactive, which purchased the brand license after the original publisher, Monte Cristo, went bankrupt. The basic mechanics remain unchanged: you play as the mayor of a virtual city and your task is to manage its development and to make sure everything is functioning as it should. By building new dwellings, facilities, commercial lots, and public utilities, you have to continuously take care of the citizens' happiness level, as well as the city budget, sustained regularly by taxes. The new installment adds many new buildings and options of managing the city. Thanks to a new engine, the gameplay scale is much larger, and the size and diversity of the metropolis are no longer limited.

A tactical RPG with turn-based combat set in the popular universe of Warhammer. The game is a debut project of the Canadian studio Rogue Factor, founded by veterans of the video game industry. This title is based on a classic tabletop battle game Mordheim, which, in contrast to most of the games set in this universe, did not feature grand battles but small clashes of individual units. The game is set 500 years before the Warhammer’s main story, in the titular Mordheim City. After being struck by a comet, the city becomes a fighting ground for numerous conflicting factions. As a leader of one of them, you explore vast districts of the metropolis, undertaking various story missions and fighting enemies. Turn-based battles take place on 3D arenas of different shapes and layouts. Interestingly, your soldiers can become crippled, e.g. lose limbs.

The attackers come in waves and each one is more powerful than the previous. When planning further actions, the player has to build defensive structures on the path of the enemy, including towers for archers, artillery posts and barracks generating soldiers who fight the attackers directly. Elimination of enemies generates income, which can be spent on expanding the line of defense through the addition of new buildings or upgrade of the existing ones. When the situation gets worse, the player can also cast powerful offensive spells capable of stopping or even destroying entire groups of enemies. Completing a level earns the player golden stars, allowing them to upgrade their units or make spells more effective. Kingdom Rush stands out with its eye-pleasing, colorful and detailed visuals.

A multiplayer free-to-play shooter, developed by Crytek. The game takes the player to a futuristic battlefield, where they assume the role of a soldier representing one of the four available classes: Medic, Engineer, Sniper, and Rifleman. The key to success is to use the full potential offered by the unique class abilities. Warface delivers a number of game modes – players can enjoy multiple PvP modes (solo and team Deathmatch, Storm, Plant the Bomb), as well as PvE modes, in which one has to force his way through a city overrun by enemy troops controlled by the AI. To top it all, the game also features a Special Operations mode, in which the players have to stand their ground against numerous waves of enemies. Warface draws its inspirations from other games developed by Crytek – it is powered by the CryEngine 3 technology; the characters are extremely mobile and can quickly adapt. In comparison to similar games, Warface stands out in terms of visual quality.

Both races have a full set of characteristic units and new heroes each, who gain experience with every battle and possess innovative special abilities. The races available in the core game have been given new formations to use, which expands their armies' versatility and strategic options. RPG, Fantasy, Internet, MMO, MMORPG, Online, TPP, Free-to-play.

An MMORPG created by Trion Worlds studio. The players enter the world of Telara, which struggles to repel the invading forces of Regulos the Destructor. The defenders, however, are split into two warring factions: Guardians, and Defiants. RIFT lets us create a hero based on one of the four archetypes (warrior, primalist, rouge, and mage), and set out to complete various story and side quests, exploring the fantasy world and fighting encountered enemies. During the gameplay, we have to face not only AI-controlled monsters, but also, after joining one of the aforementioned factions, players belonging to the opposing organizations. One of the interesting mechanics in the game are the invasions – to stop the influx of beasts flowing into Telara through randomly located gates, the heroes have to form up groups to repel the attacks. During spectacular skirmishes, we use a wide array of combat abilities, which are unlocked in the course of the gameplay. The game is complemented by high-quality visuals, and offers a free-to-play model with optional paid subscription.

Adventure, 2D, Horror, Singleplayer, Top-down, Visual Novel.

A visual novel adventure game developed by studio 5pg. The game is an improved version of the independent game created by Makoto Kedouin and originally released in 1996. Corpse Party takes place in a high school building that was built on the ruins of an old grade school in which a terrible and mysterious crime has occurred. One day, due to unexplainable events, a group of students enters a terrible and grotesque version of their school in which the corridors are filled with decomposing corpses. Trapped in the building, the main characters must face the mysteries of the building and the revenge-seeking ghosts of the dead children. The game uses typical gameplay mechanics of visual novel games, although it also contains exploration and even action sequences. The story has several different endings that depend on the choices made by the player.
