The game’s style is reminiscent of its two predecessors, in which – unlike in the first parts of the cycle – we experience the events from first-person perspective. The plot takes us back to the nuclear wasteland, where the survivors are forced to constantly fight for their lives. Fallout 4 features various new locations and characters, and a whole variety of plot quests and challenging opponents.

Metro Exodus (PS4)
Metro Exodus (PS4)

Action 2019

Metro Exodus is the third installment of the popular FPS series based on the books by Dmitry Glukhovsky and developed by 4A Games. Once again we play as Artyom who ventures through what remains of Russia after a nuclear war that took place twenty years before the action of the game. Metro Exodus is kind of an evolution of what we saw in the series' previous installments. As usual, we explore the game's rich world (this time, along with the tunnels, also the world’s surface), fight with the encountered enemies, and try to be as stealthy as possible. Stealth plays an important role in the game because we will encounter not only well-armed human survivors, but also mutants. Defeating a smaller one may not be that hard, but the more powerful mutants can be rather difficult to kill. As usual, the latest installment of the Metro series features visuals of the highest quality.

Biomutant is an open world RPG developed by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic. The game takes the players to a peculiar world inhabited by humanoid animals – the universe combines post-apocalyptic science fiction elements with themes from Wuxia movies. Upon starting their adventure, the player has to create their character from scratch and develop them as the story progresses – one can choose multiple cyber-implants and mutations enabling their character to use certain special abilities. During the story campaign, one can explore the vast open world and complete consecutive tasks. The most important aspect of the game, however, is fighting numerous foes and making a good use of the arcade combat system, which allows the player to utilize various firearms and multiple types of melee weapons. Also important are the companion droids, which can be developed and modified by players. Moreover, the game features a crafting system. The exploration is even more entertaining due to the access to multiple means of transportation, such as jet skis, balloons, and flying saucers.

His task is to find some precious artifacts from the Earth. You can join one of 6 playable factions, each possessing their own strengths and weaknesses that have significant influence on the way you play them. Gameplay mechanics are not much different from the ones used in Mars: War Logs. The main difference is that The Technomancer offers more complex story missions with lots of secondary plots.

Initially, the project was announced under the name of Lily Bergamo but in time changed its formula and was renamed to Let it Die. It is exclusive to PlayStation 4 and uses the free-to-play business model. The player assumes the role of a warrior who takes part in ruthless street fights against characters controlled by the AI or by other players. In combat, we use various weapons that range from saws, batons, machetes, and crossbows, to pistols and machine guns. The character we create has but his bare fists, but as we progress, we can acquire clothes and weapons. The process can be sped up with optional micropayments. The attack animations in Let it Die are grotesquely brutal and every blow is accompanied by a huge blood splash.
