Respawning of loot laying around and in small containers

In Dead Island 2, items you have picked up in previously visited location may respawn. They won't be the same items, but it's still worth revisiting locations. New items may lie in plain sight and respawn in various types of containers (safes, chests, suitcases, etc.).

Respawning of random weapons in chests

Loot in Disaster Relief Crate can also respawn. This is important, because this way you can get free random weapons. You can then use them in combat, dismantle to obtain crafting materials, or sell for cash.
