Maglock
Some doors in Dead Island 2 can't be opened. Some will need a special key or code, while others require finding an alternative way to unlock them. A perfect example is objects locked with a maglock, which can't be opened right away.
How to unlock a maglock?
There is one simple way to do this, and that is to destroy all electrical circuits that are connected to the door.
You will very often have to break down two or three such circuits. They are easy to find - usually you have to follow the power supply above the door. They are also often located inside the room you want to access. Usually you will find open windows next to it, through which you can throw a weapon or shoot to destroy the power supply.
Sometimes it can happen that some circuits are suspended high above you. We recommend using a gun, or throw a melee weapon at the electric circuit to destroy it.
When the door to the room is opened, it will mean that you have destroyed all the required circuits.
