Dead Island 2: How to throw a weapon 35 meters away?
Donk! trophy and the Impressive accuracy challenge from Dead Island 2 force you to throw a melee weapon over a long distance. Our guide explains how to hit a zombie standing 35 meters away - we suggest how to prepare for this and where is the ideal place to perform such a throw.
One of the combat challenges in Dead Island 2, Impressive Aim, requires the player to hit a zombie with a thrown melee weapon from a distance of over 35 meters. Our guide hints on where are the best places to throw from and how to prepare for the throw. Succeeding will also unlock the Donk! achievement.
Preparing for the 35 meters throw

To correctly perform the throw you need a melee weapon. Personally, we used a spear, but other weapons should also do.
We recommend choosing an ordinary weapon, as otherwise you're risking losing a more valuable one. Remember you only need to hit a zombie to complete the challenge - the throw doesn't need to be lethal. This means you don't need a high-damaging weapon.

You can also prepare some meat bait beforehand. It can group up some zombies more tightly, increasing your chances of a successful throw.
Recommended location

A good area to earn the trophy at is near the Venice Beach police station. There are parked police cars nearby, with a group of zombified cops hanging around as well.
You can try to throw your weapon right away, or get closer and toss some meat bait. The zombies will gather around it.

Select a melee weapon and hold down the aim button to wind up for your throw.
Aim very high (pictured above), as your target is very far away.

The more zombies are grouped together, the higher your chances of hitting one of them. You should:
- unlock the Donk! trophy;
- complete the Impressive Aim challenge.
