While exploring the first district of Bel-Air in Dead Island 2, you can go to Curits' mansion and, after helping him (The Death of the Party side quest), find a safe with Curtis' valuables. Location of Curtis' Valuables Safe in Bel-Air
Curtis' Valuables Safe is located in his mansion in the central part of Bel-Air.
You must first help Curtis with The Death of the Party side quest. Only then will you be able to get inside the main estate building. The safe is in a room on the first floor where the wines are stored.
Finding the key to Curtis' safe
You can't get the key right away, that is, on your first visit to Bel-Air. You have to advance sufficiently in the game for Screamers to start appearing in the game world - the first screamer is Nikki Gutte, whom you will face in her mansion on your second visit to Beverly Hills.
Once you start encountering Screamers, return to Bel-Air and investigate the smaller southwestern building next to the main mansion.
A Screamer should appear in the building - Crystal the Lawyer. Deal with the monster.
Search the corpse to find Curtis' Safe Key. You can now return to the safe in the mansion. The safe has random weapons - in our case it was a revolver.
