Yesterday is set in New York and its story focuses on a mysterious series of murders of homeless people. What links the individual cases are the characteristic Y-shaped scars. You play as John Yesterday, a man with no memory, who is trying to find out the truth about his past and ends up involved in a serious plot associated with the murders. The game is a typical point-and-click adventure production, and the gameplay focuses on exploring locations, talking to NPCs, gathering items and solving puzzles. Although the visuals are quite cartoonish, the overall atmosphere of this thriller game is extremely grim.
