The second DLC for 2013's Total War: Rome II (Creative Assembly). The second Punic war is the general theme of the expansion; the conflict between Rome and Carthage took place in the third century BC. Importantly, the war was also a conflict of two outstanding commanders - Scipio Africanus and Hannibal, a sworn enemy of Rome. The expansion brings a new campaign which is set in the western part of the mediterranean basin, in the years 218-202 BC (each year lasts 12 turns). The new map is smaller, but more detailed than in the core game; it comprises 19 provinces in total. Apart from the two main factions, the DLC also offers Syracuse, as well as Iberian tribes - the Arevaci and Lusitani. All of these factions were given their own combat units and technology trees. Additionally, both Rome and Carthage have an additional branch of development, which focuses on diplomacy.

A third-person perspective stealth game in which the player assumes the role of an experienced goblin assassin who is tasked with reaching the Tower of Akenash and stealing a valuable, magic amber. The title was created by Cyanide studios, the creators of many cycling games, the Blood Bowl series and the Of Orcs and Men RPG. The protagonist of the game is Styx, a character known from Of Orcs and Men. The title is an action game focused on sneaking up and silently eliminating enemies. The main weapon is a dagger, but Styx can also use various abilities provided by the magic amber. During the game the protagonist improves his abilities by developing himself in six different directions. In order to reach the destination, the player must travel through a series of levels that are large both horizontally and vertically. Their suggestive atmosphere, built by lights and shadows, is similar to the legendary Thief series.

He thinks that one of the biggest threats to his power are games, which is why he confiscates all consoles and other gaming devices. The players take on the roles of travelers from an alternative world, who decide to overthrow the dictator. The gameplay, shown from the point of view of the player characters, focuses on a parkour system, which allows you to quickly more around the city and avoid obstacles. You can also use special outfits, enabling you to jump higher and safely fall from greater altitudes. Apart from performing acrobatics, which earns you points, you also have to free the imprisoned people and reclaim the confiscated consoles, which is made more difficult by numerous patrol drones.

The second official DLC for the fourth installment of the popular grand strategy game series by Paradox Interactive. As the title suggests, the expansion is focused on the economic aspects of the gameplay, which manifests through the significantly expanded trading system, among other things. The players have several new economy mechanics at their disposal. Thanks to them, we can use negotiations and diplomacy to cause conflicts in trade relations; it is also possible to hire pirates to sabotage foreign nations’ trade and loot their ships. Europa Universalis IV: Wealth of Nations also introduces the possibility of strengthening our trade by setting a trading capital in one of our ports, as well as the ability to establish a trading company that deals with long-distance trade.

The heroes are built from three attributes: Body, Control, and Mind, while their abilities can be reinforced by using various elements found during the encounters. The gameplay mainly focuses on combat, which takes place in real time and is characterized by a lot of tactical depth – each encounter requires some adjustments to your strategy, the right use of the individual abilities, and taking heed of various obstacles and traps.

The game is one of the first productions utilizing the extra functions of the New 3DS, such as extra buttons and second analog stick. You play as a Special Tactical Fighter Squadron Scarface pilot and participate in Operation Fighter's Honor, during which you have to stop the countries of the southern Usea from joining the Osean Federation. The production allows you to pilot many planes, such as Boeing F-15SE Silent Eagle or Sukhoi PAK FA, and to complete an expansive single-player campaign or bonus missions in the challenge mode. The arcade-like flight model and frequent fights make the game resemble shooter productions more than most PC flight simulators. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus features 3D visuals, which are very high-quality for a 3DS game, both during the actual gameplay and spectacular replays.

As the Spanish, we try to become as rich as possible by conquering the Aztec “golden cities” and other uncharted corners of the new world. Playing as Aztects, we have to ensure our lands’ security and do whatever we can to make the Europeans go home empty-handed. The Nation Designer tool, which provides us with previously unavailable customization options, is an integral part of the expansion.

An old school 2D platform game developed by independent Polish developer Tomasz Waclawek. The story of the game was inspired by the cult movie Kill Bill directed by Quentin Tarantino. In the game the player assumes the role of a mysterious woman who intends to get rid of five influential owners of a corporation. In order to do it, the protagonist must get through series of heavily guarded locations while being equipped only with katana and a hook that allows her to climb on walls and attach herself to the ceilings. The key to success in the game is the ability to silently sneak up behind the backs of guards and cameras; a good plan and its perfect realization. The battles are played by marking targets and at any moment of the game the time can be stopped in order to plan the next move. The graphics of the game have retro style, similar to platform games released in eighties and nineties.

The task is not an easy one, as the stations are quite small, continuously rotate, so the docking requires good skills. To make things worse, there are many obstacles and dangers in space, and they can ruin even the most easy-looking docking. The dangers include asteroids, space pirates, mines, anomalies, and mysterious black monoliths. You dock your ship by drawing a line of varying lengths, which corresponds to the ship's speed. You can also switch the engine on and off. Every action uses one unit of fuel. When you run out of it completely, you only have five seconds to finish the docking, otherwise your ship falls apart.

However, because your character cannot take much damage before dying you have to use proper tactics in order to succeed. The protagonist can sneak, perform silent kills, use covers, flank opponents, and distract guards using disguises. In combat he uses various weapons, starting from suppressed pistols and all the way to rocket launchers. As a lawman, he does not have to kill all enemies on sight, some of them can be arrested.

A properly used cannon is not just a great weapon to use against such foes as nosy policemen and mutants, but also a tool for pressing buttons and unlocking seemingly blocked passages. It can also be used to jump and glide through the air. In each of several dozens of levels your task is to get to the finish line in one piece. The gameplay also features easy puzzles, and interesting and amusing boss battles. Gunbrick features pleasant 2D visuals and a soundtrack composed by Erik Suhrke.

The action of the game takes place in 1965 in the Ia Drang Valley, located near the border with Cambodia, where the American government dispatched a powerful military support in order to prevent the unification of this part of the country under a single, communist flag. The gameplay builds on the proprietary “hearts and minds” mechanics – instead of waging an open war, a player has to gain favor with the natives and bring the Vietcong’s inhumane practices to naught. The developers ambitiously wanted to show the reality of the Vietnam War, which, apart from the conventional military operations, featured psychological warfare. The game features mediocre visuals; however, the cross-platform gameplay runs smooth for owners of both PC / Windows and mobile devices.

The title is not a simple conversion, though; it tells an entirely new story that takes place 3 years after the events of the original, on the very same space station the action of Dead Space 2 took place. In the game, we assume the role of an engineer nicknamed Vandal who acts on behalf of the dangerous Unitologist sect who believe the appearance of the Necromorph is a part of a divine plan of annihilating the humanity. When the protagonist realizes the danger she has caused, she begins a race against time to prevent the epidemic from spreading throughout the entire base. As far as gameplay and atmosphere are concerned, the mobile version of Dead Space does not deviate significantly from the original, introducing only the crucial changes stemming from the properties of handheld devices.

A continuation to Consortium (2014), developed by Interdimensional Games. This extraordinary mixture of an FPP shooter, an adventure game, and an RPG is set in 2042. The protagonist - agent Bishop Six, gets assigned to a task of rescuing people kept hostage in London's Churchill Tower by Kiril Angelov. The story is non-linear - the player encounters representatives of different factions, and one can build more and less friendly relations with them; during the adventure, the player will even have the opportunity to act against the titular organization who hired them. The non-linear story is followed by diverse gameplay, as the in-game conflicts can be resolved both by force and using diplomatic methods. Exploration is one of the pillars the experience is based on, and this element was improved with special abilities of the protagonist, as he can breathe under water and fall from great heights without taking any damage. Those fond of stealth action will be satisfied with opportunities to use both visual and sound camouflage. All of this is complemented by conversations with NPCs, which can be a source of useful information and clues. Importantly, those who have completed the original game can import their save files here - others can enjoy a summary of the events depicted in the original Consortium.

A spin-off to the Call of Duty series. It is a free-to-play strategy game created mainly for mobile devices. As the title suggests, the game focuses on the characters featured mainly in the Modern Warfare and Black Ops subseries. Thus the player meets the old acquaintances, such as Captain Price, 'Soap' MacTavish or Mike Harper. In terms of the mechanics, the game was inspired by social strategies, such as Clash of Clans. The player's task is to transform a small outpost into a strong military base capable of defending itself against attacks of an exceptionally powerful enemy. The player constructs buildings and defensive structures, trains soldiers and improves technologies. The previously mentioned "heroes" play the crucial part here, for their special abilities can tip the balance in favor of the player's victory more than once. Call of Duty: Heroes offers average-looking visuals. It is also a subject to limitations encountered commonly in free-to-play games.

Theatrhythm Dragon Quest is a rhythm game with RPG elements. It is the third game in the series. Two previous installments focused on the music and characters from the iconic Final Fantasy series. This time, Square Enix decided to connect the game with the lesser known Dragon Quest series. As we play, we will hear dozens of pieces of music used in the Dragon Quest games. Gameplay in Theatrhythm Dragon Quest is based on the same mechanics as the previous games. We will have to push the icons that appear on the screen in line with the rhythm of the music. Not only our reflexes matter, but also how long our stylus touches the console's touch screen. Some of the sounds require a quick tap, some touching the screen for a longer moment, and some will force us to move the stylus from one side to another. The game offers a couple of game modes, including multiplayer. Theatrhythm Dragon Quest has unique visuals that bring paper cutouts and flash animations to mind.
