A unique blend of a sports game and and an RPG. You play as a wizard, who decided to explore a nine-level dungeon. The locations are full of not just monsters and tricky traps, but also gold, which is enough of a lure for various adventurers. Unlike many similar role-playing games, the production features unusual mechanics, similar to those found in golf. The magic-wielding protagonist shoots enemies with fireballs, utilizing golf rules. You have to carefully aim and adjust the force of the spell, taking into account the distance, topography, and obstacles. After each hit, you are teleported to where the fireball stopped. At the same time, you also have to watch the mana level, which allows you to cast your spells. As you progress, you can develop the protagonist's skills and unlock new spells (such as a freezing spell), which help you fight your enemies.

A spin-off of the popular FPS game series by Activision, developed by Ideaworks Game studio for iOS mobile devices. The game is focused entirely on the multiplayer Nazi Zombies mode from Call of Duty: World at War, in which the players team up to fight the oncoming waves of the living dead. The gameplay takes place in enclosed locations that can be prepared for the attack, e.g. by nailing up doors and windows. To fight zombies, you use various kinds of the WW2-era weaponry, knives, grenades, and traps. Killing zombies and fixing the barricades earns you points, for which you can not only buy better equipment but also unlock previously unavailable parts of the map. A single game can involve up to four players playing online, or two players playing via Bluetooth. Compared to Call of Duty: World at War, the graphics of Call of Duty: Zombies have been greatly simplified, but the map layout is almost identical.

A digital adaptation of the strategy board game created by American company GMT Games. Twilight Struggle takes place during the Cold War and the player assumes the role of a leader of one of the two empires – USA or USSR. The game is played in turns on a global map. The rivaling sides are playing with cards that trigger events beneficial for one, either, or neither side of the conflict. The cards can be used for things such as strengthening one’s position, at the cost of the opponent, or technological development. At the same time both sides must be careful as escalation of the conflict can lead to a nuclear holocaust. The “What if?” mode is an interesting addition. It allows playing in an alternative reality in which, for example, whole Berlin was conquered by the western nations and the elections in England in 1945 were once again won by Churchill and his conservative party. The base of the gameplay in Twilight Struggle is a rivalry between two players, but there is also a single player mode available, in which one faces artificial intelligence.

The player who chooses the role of a commander stays in the base and makes strategic decisions that have to go through the whole chain of command in real time until they reach the captains of the individual regiments. However, it quickly turns out that the game’s main feature is its powerful editor, based on the Pixel Press technology. This allows us to transfer objects drawn by hand on a sheet of paper to the game, which is done by scanning with a smartphone or tablet camera, letting the players add anything they want and then place the Adventure Time’s heroes there and live a unique adventure. Additionally, the editor features more traditional options, and the players can share their creations with others.

The gameplay of Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is almost completely the same as its predecessor. We are given a mix of an action game, RPG, and a platform game – the game focuses on exploration of two-dimensional levels, and facing the encountered enemies. The new hero forces the players to develop completely new tactics – even if most of the journey takes place in reused locations, the new hero is not equipped with the trademark shovel – he makes use of bombs and short-distance flying. The list of novelties is complemented by new enemies and bosses.

The protagonist by the name of Pip is the only one capable of stopping the Queen, since he possesses an incredible ability to absorb pixels from the bodies of the enemies he defeats. In terms of the mechanics, the game is a typical side-scroller resembling titles such as Super Mario Bros, thus the player traverses 2D levels, solves puzzles and fights enemies. A turn based 4X strategy game with card game elements, set in a fantasy realm and developed by the Luxembourg-based independent studio The Lordz Games, previously known mainly for the Panzer Corps series. The story begins when the old Boruvian Empire starts to decline, and the younger kingdoms, rising in power, are more than willing to speed up its demise, seeing it as an opportunity to establish their own supremacy. During the game we can play as the ruler of the Empire trying to rebuild its former glory, or lead one of the other kingdoms, choosing among 35 factions featuring their own history, culture, and racial structure. Gameplay in Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is based on the usual mainstays of 4X strategy games, supplemented by turn based combat system that involves trained troops and heroes, possessing unique special abilities, recruited during the game.
