Action 13 November 2012

An action game, featuring elements of a 3D platformer, based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels and the movie trilogy by Peter Jackson. LEGO The Lord of the Rings is another "blocky" production from Traveller’s Tale studio. It lets us take the role of a chosen member of the Fellowship of the Ring and set out on a dangerous journey to stop Sauron and his minions. The campaign consists of a series of stages inspired by the most memorable scenes from the movies.

A spin-off of the popular Might & Magic series by Capybara Games, originally released for Nintendo DS, and later also for PC and the eight generation consoles. It is a combination of logic puzzle games and turn-based strategies with significant plot, and visuals-wise it resembles a jRPG. The story was divided into 5 episodes, during which you have to complete quests, explore the world, talk to NPCs, and, of course, fight enemies.

Etrian Odyssey is a jRPG game with beautiful graphics and interesting solutions, supported by a very good team of well-known artists, such as Shigeo Komori, Kazuya Niinou and Yuzo Koshiro. Their achievements include Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner.

Another major installment in the famous action adventure game series. In terms of story, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is set between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, and focuses on the events that caused the drastic, dark change within the Prince. Upon reaching his brother’s realm, the Prince finds the capital city about to fall, besieged by an enemy army.

Strategy canceled

A turn-based strategy embedded in the reality of fantasy, which is a direct continuation of Disciples: Sacred Lands. We enter a magical world reminiscent of the Middle Ages, where four races fight for vast territories. Compared to the previous part, graphics, user interface and artificial intelligence of opponents have been improved. The game has a multiplayer mode for up to four players.

Radiant Historia is a jRPG production, which is the responsibility of Atlus studio and a development team working on the game Radiata Stories released in 2005. The plot of the title depicts the fate of three characters - Stock, Rainey and Marco, who try to determine the causes of the mysterious plague that struck the continent of Vainqueur. Music for the game was composed by Yoko Shimomura.

Luminous Arc is a combination of adventure game and turn-based strategy. Its assumptions are very much reminiscent of such titles as Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis. However, it is not a carbon paper, but only borrows key elements, adding a lot from each other.

Players take on the role of a Tokyo high school student, who is one of the 13 rulers of demons who can oppose the invasion of Japan by a foreign race. The title is a mixture of RPG and strategy elements and is maintained in the anime style.

Puzzle Quest 2 is a continuation of the logical game with cRPG elements released in 2007. The plot of the main campaign is set in a fantastic world, and the player takes on the role of a hero who tries to liberate the village of Verloren from the rule of the demonic Gorgon. Compared to the first installment of the series, Infinite Interactive developers have introduced a number of improvements in visual design and added new gameplay elements.
