Tom Clancy's The Division: Underground

Underground is the first paid expansion that comes as a part of the season pass for The Division, a multiplayer online action game by Ubisoft Massive. Initially, the DLC was made available for Xbox One and after a month-long period of exclusivity, it came out for other platforms: PC and PlayStation 4. The division is a political thriller the action of which takes place in a plague-torn New York.

Hokuto ga Gotoku is an action-adventure game built on the foundations of the Yakuza series. The title was developed by one of the in-house developer teams at Sega, the one responsible for the Yakuza series. The title is based on the Japanese comic series Hokuto no Ken (known as Fist of the North Star in the West). It takes place in a post-apocalyptic reality filled with ruins of cities and radiation-burned deserts.

Underrail: Expedition takes players beyond the metro network known from the original Underrail, offering a vast underground basin known as Black Sea. We are given over a hundred locations to explore – including mysterious ruins, pirate strongholds, laboratories, and islands of various sizes – which are traversed on foot or using a boat. The add-on contains new factions, enemies, abilities, and items.

A sidescrolling shooter with a post-apocalyptic setting – Dead Metal Punks is a debut project created by an independent developer: Paul Scott. In Dead Metal Punks, the players get to visit a Borderlands-like world, where the action is presented from the side and the gameplay has been divided into two different modes. In the first mode, the players control the main protagonist – Lily, while the second mode revolves around driving a fancy tank.

A first-person perspective shooter developed by Jaywalkers Interactive and Vertigo Games. The player is taken to the post-apocalyptic areas near the Grand Canyon in Colorado. He is tasked with facing hordes of blood-thirsty zombies. Luckily, he isn’t helpless as he can use melee weapons and various guns (including pistols, machine guns and shotguns). The game also consists of survival features – the key to victory is to constantly control the supplies of ammunition and food.
Lost Region

An independent MMO survival game based on Unreal Engine 4. The action of Lost Region takes place in a desolated world which is slowly taken over by the ravenous nature. The available landmass was inspired by mountainous regions of North America and consists of 64 square kilometers of diversified landscape. The players are left with a number of duties, including combat, resource gathering, completing procedurally-generated tasks, and exploration.

A few generations later, the planet slowly returns to life, with humanity creating special anomaly zones that isolate dangerous mutated beings along with unlucky humans that inhabit the area.
Life in Bunker

The world in Life in Bunker is procedurally generated and player has access to four underground floors. Thanks to that, as the game progress, the bunker can be expanded not only horizontally, but vertically as well. The people living inside the facility represent one of six professions and have individual character traits.
Dead Island: Definitive Collection

The set contains the remastered editions of Dead Island (2011) and Dead Island: Riptide (2013), featuring almost identical stories and focusing on four characters forced to fight for survival on the zombie-infested islands of Banoi and Palanai. The games put a great emphasis on cooperation mode.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, slowly rebuilding after a devastating nuclear war. Fallout 4: Vault-Tec, similar to the previously released Workshop and Contraptions DLC packs, features new content for the more crafty players. The expansion focuses on the building of underground bunkers, called vaults in-universe.
Phantom Dust HD

The players are traveling through an open world, completing missions, and fighting enemies. The battles are fought by using an AirMech that is adapted to combat on the surface and in the air.

Developed by HanbitSoft, Hellgate VR allows the players to participate in the war between humans and demons, with the task to eliminate the creatures from Hell using various types of firearms, including i.a. machine guns. Even though the battlefields are mostly filled with hordes of minor adversaries, the player is bound to encounter bosses much more powerful than the rest of the enemies.

The Terminator: Future Shock

The next installment of Bethesda's series of first-person action games, based on the license of the cult science fiction Terminator movie series. In the game we play the role of a hero freed by the resistance movement, who decides to join the fighting fighters and stop the criminal artificial intelligence of Skynet, which experiments with time. Technically, the game is a big step forward, offering a richly textured 3D environment and the ability to look around freely with the mouse.
