A two-dimensional adventure game with platformer features from the independent Polish team at Juggler Games. It takes players to a fictional city ruled by the Evil King and his army of robots. Certain districts have been separated from others by a high wall, and this ghetto is used to contain the so called “worse part of society”. The players take control of two kids trying to survive in the cruel new reality. My Memory Of Us uses side-view camera angle to present the world, and the controlled duo must support each other to overcome all obstacles and solve all puzzles. One of the game’s selling points is a simplified dialogue system based on symbols, as well as its setting being inspired by actual life in Poland under German occupation during World War II, especially inside Jewish ghettos. It also stands out with the monochromatic colors of its visuals.

An online RPG game set in a high fantasy world. It was developed by Cryptic - a team popular mainly for City of Heroes and Champions Online. The game is based on the popular Dungeons & Dragons RPG system and the story takes place in the Forgotten Realms universe. Dark forces have taken over a large area in the titular city. Called in by the Lord Protector, fearless heroes and adventurers arrive to face the evil beings. The gameplay focuses on cooperation of five players assembled into a party that traverses dungeons filled with different dangers. The mechanics combine elements of MMOs and action RPGs and are based on the rules of the fourth edition of Dungeons & Dragons. Neverwinter stands out with its simplicity-driven editor tools allowing for creation of numerous new adventures.

The player has to sneak in the shadows and silently eliminate the enemies, which is helped by various vampire powers.

A futuristic, first-person perspective action game developed by Bungie Software – the creators of the iconic Halo series. The players assume the roles of Guardians who, thanks to the unusual abilities drawing power from an alien ship hanging above the Earth, are the only humans capable of facing the destructive force from space. Players are divided into three classes which specialize in open combat, stealth, or special powers. Gameplay is focused on multiplayer, encouraging the players to explore the world. Battles involve small groups of participants; it is possible to start the game alone and join a previously created group. The game was created for next-gen consoles and which translates into high-quality graphics and sounds.

A classic cRPG based on the fifth edition of the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop system. The game was created by Digital Extremes, a seasoned developer, under the auspices of Wizards of the Coast. The game is based on the titular Sword Coast universe, known to PC players from e.g. the legendary Baldur’s Gate. In terms of gameplay, the title invokes the classics of the genre, offering characteristic isometric view and real-time combat with active pause. The game puts you at the helm of a 4-person party of heroes of different races (5 to choose from) and classes (6 available). Although you can play solo, the developers stressed the advantages of cooperative gameplay. One of the novelties in the game is the role of Dungeon Master – the pillar of any tabletop RPG. The player who takes this role can influence gameplay e.g. by deploying traps and monsters.

This six-part episodic story focuses on the House Forrester, whose members, although missing from the TV show, appeared in the fifth book of the saga. Known for ironwood trade, the Forresters are trying to survive the War of the Five Kings, while competing with House Whitehill. Gameplay employs the classic point-and-click mechanics. The game lets you visit many well-known locations from across both the Westeros and Essos continents, and observe the events from the perspective of several characters whose actions have direct impact on the fate of the two families.

The add-on created by the Blizzard Entertainment’s development team has added a fifth act to the main campaign, in which Malthael, the Angel of Death, is determined to put an end to the war between celestial beings and demons; the Black Stone binding Diablo’s soul is supposed to help him achieve this goal. The expansion also introduces a new playable character – Crusader – and raises the limit of character’s experience level to 70. In addition, the creators decided to modify the loot system; now we find it less often, but it is more valuable and better suited to a particular hero. Some changes have also been introduced to the visuals, making them much darker than in the original version of the game.

The gameplay remains faithful to the mechanics used in previous installments of the Gears of War series. However, the developers introduced a few innovations such as the Smart Spawn System.

An extraordinary point-and-click adventure game and a spiritual successor to the legendary The Neverhood, a game developed in 1996 by Doug TenNapel. This new title was created by the author of the original game, who managed to gather nearly entire old staff back together for this project. The story tells of the adventures of a likeable alien named Tommynaut, who survives a spacecraft crash and finds himself on a strange planet, where together with his companion, dog Beak-Beak, the hero gets captured and locked in the titular stronghold of Armikrog. What distinguishes the game, is its unique artwork – in-game locations and character models were made of plasticine and brought to life using time-lapse technique. This time-consuming work was done by a number of puppeteers, animators, and sculptors. Thanks to their work, the developers managed to recreate the unique atmosphere of the original game, which, apart from interesting story and a cast of likeable characters, offered a large doze of wacky humor.

Another installment in the popular series of racing games developed by Codemasters. The game expand the concepts its predecessors were based on, adding however, plenty of novelties at the same time. DiRT 4 offers over 50 cars and several kinds of championships - above all, rally events. Furthermore, the Landrush mode makes a re-appearance here, but also rallycross events were included, based on the FIA World Rallycross Championship license. The Joyride complements the game modes, offering various kinds of challenges for the player to enjoy. The Career is the most basic mode - the player creates their own driver, attracts sponsors and develops their team, which gradually gets more and more effective. Apart from that, the game brings a competition-based multiplayer component supervised by the RaceNet service, which makes it possible to organize on-line leagues and tournaments. What is completely new here, is the so-called "Your Stage", which is a special module that allows the player to create their own routes. DiRT 4 utilizes a modified and modernized version of the Ego engine, which is at the source of the game's high-quality visuals.

Soon after Locust implement a new technology allowing them to produce cave-ins that can swallow entire cities. Fenix and his team once again join the war effort with the intention of defeating the enemy once and for all. Mechanics are based on a well-proven formula utilized in the first part of the game. Gameplay focuses on dynamic action emphasizing the cover system. The title introduces a new, easiest difficulty level, new weapons, and a wider variety of enemies and NPCs around which the plot revolves.

The squad, consisting of soldiers notorious for behavior considered inadequate for military service, gets assigned with missions nobody else is willing to take. Apart from the singleplayer mode, the game offers fully functional multiplayer component. The latter allows for online battles involving up to 24 players.

An elite commando unit called Global Defense Force takes up arms to defend the planet, while the players can side with either faction. Despite the fact that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars concentrates solely on multiplayer, it features over a dozen missions in which players complete predetermined goals that involve defense of key strategic points or frontal assaults on enemy bases, among other things. The gameplay is focused on cooperation within a team. Each participant represents one of five different character classes and has a unique role to play.

The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

A science-fiction survival horror game developed by the independent studio Lunar Software. The story focuses on discovering the causes behind the staff disappearance at the Lunar Research Station. In the game, the player travels through dark and claustrophobic chambers of the facility, gradually uncovering its secrets. The main item the player uses throughout the game is a special fixing tool which resembles a pistol. The player can modify this tool using disks which can be found around the station, thus the device can be used also as a weapon. The creators placed special emphasis on a convincing atmosphere the experience comes with, and the survival aspect of it. The latter means that the interface is minimal and each death of the protagonist is permanent. Many parts of the virtual station are randomly generated, such as different threats or the locations of NPCs. As a result, each playthrough can be completely different.

The player assumes the role of the old king Graham, who tells his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, of the fantastic adventures from his youth, which eventually led him to the throne of Daventry. Despite employing 3D graphics, the game mechanics takes after the classic installments in the series, focusing on exploration, dialogues, and puzzle solving. The game also features platform sequences, in which the hero has to jump over chasms and avoid various traps.
