Another strategy game developed by Strategic Simulations Inc. This time the developers are taking the player to a world that combines fantasy and steampunk. The player is tasked with assuming the role of one of the four masters summoned to destroy the evil Shadowlord and his followers. Fantasy General focuses primarily on combat, during which the player uses units of four categories – immortal, magic, monsters, and mechanical. Each category is additionally divided into ten classes, like for example light and heavy infantry, cavalry, or archers. Although the key to victory lies in building a varied army that will prove to be effective in various circumstances, setting proper research priorities and taking care of economical aspects is important as well. The title uses a modified engine of Panzer General. Contrary to the previous entries in the series, in this game the squads consist of no more than fifteen soldiers. Similarly to previous games, the title offers single player campaign and a multiplayer mode.

An online first-person shooter inspired by the greatest battle of the First World War. This is the debut of Blackmill Games - a Dutch team. The game is set in the years 1916-1918. The player takes on the roles of either French or German soldiers fighting on the Western Front, participating in exhausting battles near Vauquois, Argonne, Vosges and Caures. The game offers four modes; in the main one, teams of four players compete against one another. The player earns experience, which is required to develop the skills of one's virtual soldier. Verdun stands out mainly with its serious approach to the task of recreating the realities of the Great War in a virtual environment. Both the uniforms and weaponry of the combatants were taken into account, as well as was the topography of battlefields.

A stylish game developed by Team Colorblind, an independent studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. The game combines elements of two seemingly incompatible video game genres – turn-based strategy and brawler. The story is set 20 years before the Spanish Conquistadors came to America, and the player is tasked with expanding the Aztec empire, collecting taxes, and handling various randomly generated events. As far the game employs the turn-based strategy convention, the player might have to use brutal force to punish citizens who do not pay their taxes, or slaughter everyone infected during an epidemic when all other attempts to cure them have failed. What is worth mentioning, the game is based on broad historical knowledge resulting from the developers’ passion, who implemented into the game over 30 Aztec cities and different types of Aztec warriors, all of which makes for a faithful representation of the authentic locations and factual units. Aztez features an original, monochromatic visuals brought to life only by the red color of the blood gushing all over player’s screen.

Trainz Simulator: A New Era is another game from the popular simulator series, Trainz that, as its title suggests, opens a new era in the history of the series. The game was developed by N3V Games, a studio created by the series' original developers from Auran. A New Era uses a brand new engine. Thanks to that, gameplay is more realistic and the visuals are of the highest quality. Both the train models and the environment have more details to them, and thanks to the improved physics, visuals, and dynamic weather the game is even closer to reality. Introduction of the new game engine brought many changes, but the gameplay mechanics remain intact. We still design our own railways and test them. Traditionally, there is a set of pre-made routes available and many highly detailed railway engine models.

The protagonist of the game is Styx, a character known from Of Orcs and Men. The title is an action game focused on sneaking up and silently eliminating enemies. The main weapon is a dagger, but Styx can also use various abilities provided by the magic amber. During the game the protagonist improves his abilities by developing himself in six different directions. In order to reach the destination, the player must travel through a series of levels that are large both horizontally and vertically. Their suggestive atmosphere, built by lights and shadows, is similar to the legendary Thief series.

The action of Eador: Genesis takes place in a mangled world ruptured by a massive outburst of magic energy. The player assumes control of one of the leaders that control a number of leftover specks of land with a goal to unite the run-down universe and bring it back to former glory. The path to our objective involves colonizing explored areas, including unique settlements, as well as turn-based combat against monsters and hostile armies. Aside from exploration, our hero is bound to a city that can be expanded by constructing new buildings or used to recruit military units. Combat plays out similarly to what we could see in other games of the genre – the battles are influenced by terrain type as well as the available abilities which differ based on the chosen race or class.

A humorous arcade game with features of platformer and rhythmic game from Swedish Hello There studio. She Wants Me Dead tells a story of Max, who irritated his cat Lula so much that it decided to get rid of him. Like in classic platformer games, the world is presented in two-dimensional, side-scrolling style, and the gameplay concentrates on reaching the end of progressively more difficult stages filled with dangers. Music plays a key role in the game, as every trap has been synchronized with a main musical theme. To avoid obstacles, players must feel the rhythm of the game and plan all of their actions based on the soundtrack. It is complemented by many visual modifications for our hero, which we unlock by progressing through the game.

Another installment in the popular series of 3D platform games developed in cooperation between Activision and Toys for Bob. The series uses special toy figurines that are transferred to the virtual world of the game. The mechanics of Skylanders Imaginators are similar to the ones from the previous installments of the series. It is a typical action game focused on exploration, getting through obstacles, collecting items and fighting enemies while occasionally solving riddles. The way of interacting with the toys hasn’t changed as well – what’s more, the game is fully compatible with models released for the previous installments. Among the most important new features there is the possibility to design new characters (thanks to the toy called Creation Crystal) and completely new figurines from the Skylanders Sense group, among which there are 31 warriors.

A comedy open-world RPG developed by The Gentlebros, the creators of the popular Slashy Hero, for mobile platforms. As the title suggests, the protagonist of Cat Quest is a cat that travels an open fantasy world with a sword in his paw and an armor on his back. The story campaign starts when the cat realm of Felingard is attacked by dragons. We assume the role of a cat whose destiny is to become a Dragon Slayer and save its people. While playing, we explore a vast world that is densely filled with various quests. We can visit, among other things, three large cities, forests, mountains, deserts, pirate islands, and dungeons. The production even features sea travel. We draw the route on the screen with our finger. When the hero encounters enemies, the player has to face them in a turn-based combat system. As befits an RPG, Cat Quest offers character development system and the possibility to acquire increasingly better equipment. The game features cartoonish style that fits the game's atmosphere.

A third-person action game created by former Ubisoft employees. Absolver invites the players to a fantasy realm styled after the Far East. The player assumes the role of a warrior, who wishes to join the eponymous group of elite guardians of peace and stability. The heart of gameplay is the complex system of short-range combat. The game lets you use four fighting styles interchangeably, all of which offer a wide array of melee weapons, starting with character’s own fists. Gameplay allows for executing various strikes, counters, blocks, and dodges. Players can also design their own combinations of attacks that match their preferred tactics. Absolver offers rich background story, and the events in the entire game world are shaped by successes and failures of individual players. The game is focused mainly on multiplayer. Players can join up in groups and together explore the rich world of Adal and battle. Absolver stands out with its original art style based on simple geometry and bright colors.

The next installment in a series of Formula One racing simulators developed by Codemasters. The game was designed in response to the players' feedback received after the release of the previous installment. As usual, F1 2016 features the official F1 license, thus the player takes control of the digital representations of real-life cars and competes against the drivers actually racing in F1 on authentic, faithfully recreated circuits. One track was added in this installment: Baku, Azerbaijan. Among other new features, a special hub-like location deserves a notice - it's where the players can talk to the key members of their team and give them instructions. For the first time in the series, the game features testing sessions allowing the player not only to get familiar with particular tracks (to develop a strategy), but also to earn points required for car upgrades. F1 2016 utilizes an improved version of the engine that powered the previous installment.

A mobile version of the popular military simulation series Arma, taking the form of a battle strategy similar in style to Clash of Titans. The game was developed by the team at Bohemia Interactive. Arma Mobile Ops takes place in modern times and depicts a military conflict in which advanced technology is used. During gameplay, you develop your base, gather resources, and conduct research into new technologies. Naturally, you have to protect your base by building fortifications, watch towers, bunkers, and other facilities. At the same time, you need to raise an army with which you can invade bases of other players or the AI opponents. For the most part, combat is automatic, but before you take any action, it is necessary to instruct your units on the attack direction, movement speed, and tactics. Arma Mobile Ops features a massive single player campaign and extensive multiplayer in which players’ fractions constantly wage war. The title utilizes attractive 3D visuals.

An original mix of an adventure game and a platformer, developed by the independent studio Below the Game. The action is set in a fantasy world in which you play as the titular hero – a young scribe Haimrik. You mission is to face an evil king and his Word Warriors. The protagonist, however, is not helpless and alone – accompanied by Masamba, a constantly-hungry lioness, he commands the Power of the Words, his basic weapon. Gameplay consists of exploring locations and jumping on platforms. Solving puzzles and fighting enemies play the key roles in the title – both aspects require stepping on the right stones with words carved in them. For example, a stone with “water” written on it, neutralizes a fire trap, while closed doors are opened by a stone with the word “key”. The title features loads of black humor and unusual, monochromatic visuals with the sepia effect.

During gameplay, you take control of the titular heroes and travel through a number of locations from the TV series, where you can have fun with Rick’s crazy gadgets. There is a set of missions which can be accomplished in many ways, with the use of unique items. Even though Rick’s laboratory serves as the focal point of the game, you also travel to other planets and dimensions through portals. Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality is created for VR devices and motion controllers. The visuals are attractive, but it is the physics engine that deserves most recognition, as it is responsible for the proper behavior of items that interact with each other.

The protagonist and his friends embark on various quests, while you can learn their stories. The core of the gameplay is unlocking new characters and combat; the battles are turn-based, and to succeed, you need to think your attacks through, use special abilities of your characters and choose the right strategy. A war-themed real-time strategy that is a remake of the original Men of War from 2009. Both titles were developed by Digitalmindsoft and Best Way. Similarly to its predecessor, Assault Squad 2: Men of War Origins is a war game taking place during WWII. Instead of classic base-building or gathering resources, the whole attention has been focused on tactical aspects and commanding units. The player has a large amount of moves at their disposal – he can order his soldiers to crawl, take over enemy vehicles or aim at their specific parts, or even take control of an individual soldier, like in an action game. Assault Squad 2: Men of War Origins includes three single player campaigns: one for each faction: Soviet Union, Germany, or the Allies, with the action taking place in Europe and North Africa. Multiplayer mode is also available. Assault Squad 2: Men of War Origins bases on an up-to-date version of GEM engine – offering DirectX 11 support, improved textures, models, and physics.

An adventure game taking place in a fantasy universe, released by an independent studio Pewter Games. The Little Acre begins in 1950 in Ireland. As a result of a series of uncanny events, the main hero, along with his daughter, is taken to an alternative reality, which mixes the elements of fairytales, steampunk, and science fiction, and where humans exist alongside anthropomorphic animals. The plot is pushed forward through cut-scenes, conversations with encountered characters, and notes found along the way. When it comes to mechanics, The Little Acre is a two-dimensional point-and-click adventure game, in which we solve numerous environmental puzzles and inventive riddles, solved by using the right items and their combinations. The Little Acre is features distinctive hand-drawn visuals, bringing many high-quality animated movies to mind. All dialogue lines have been dubbed, and the game has received an original soundtrack, fitting the fairytale-like atmosphere.

A mobile arcade sports game developed by Cherrypick Games, creators of such games as Touchdown Hero and Must Deliver. Sports Hero allows the player to participate in six different disciplines. One can rival others in 100-metre dash, weightlifting, javelin throw, 50-metre swimming, hurdles and long jump. Each category is a different arcade minigame with its own rules. For example, in the run one must quickly and precisely press the screen, in weightlifting the player must correctly balance the weight of the smartphone or the tablet. After each game one receives experience points which enable the player to gain new levels and unlock new disciplines. Sports Hero offers two main gameplay modes: solo mode against artificial intelligence and competition with other players in multiplayer. Similarly as other games from this developer, the game features pixel-art graphics and lots of humor.

Besides, all vehicles are customizable, letting you not only adjust their appearance to your liking but also increase their performance. The core of gameplay in Mantis Burn Racing is the single player career mode. Apart from this, there is also multiplayer, which you can play both locally and online. Mantis Burn Racing offers high-quality graphics. Interestingly, the PlayStation 4 Pro version is one of the first titles designed specifically for this console and offering support for native 4K resolution.

Both parts of LEGO Harry Potter Collection feature improved visuals, introducing e.g. enhanced lighting and new special effects. The set also includes two expansions: Spell Pack, which adds five unique spells, and Character Pack, adding 10 previously unavailable characters.

Another installment in the series of dynamical action games traditionally developed by Omega Force. This time the player assumes the role of Yukimura Sanada, one of the more popular protagonists of the series. We follow his story from birth, through the trainings that prepare him to combat, to the civil war and death during the siege of Osaka. The gameplay is similar to the one present in the previous games in the series and is based on battles with thousands of participants. Among the improvements created by the developers there is a selection of game modes – the adventure starts in the “castle city”, a base from which we can not only select playing mode but also participate in various side activities. The main mode of the game is a historical war campaign during which the player has freedom to select tactics and optional objectives. What’s new are the “Long-term Battles” – fights that take many hours and have a day and night cycle. Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru has high quality graphics provided by the engine created for the fourth main installment of the series.

Two Worlds II: Call of the Tenebrae

The second major expansion to Two Worlds II – third-person fantasy RPG created by the Polish studio Reality Pump. Call of the Tenebrae was released six years after the core game, along with a remastered version of the latter, so it offers better graphics than the original title. Main focus of the DLC’s story is the new enemy – a vile race of sapient rat-like monsters, serving some even more powerful creatures that seek to destroy the world of Antaloor. You have to assemble your allies – both old friends and new characters – and stop this threat. Call of the Tenebrae offers a dozen or so hours of gameplay. The adventure takes place in various new locations where you can find new items, learn new skills and encounter new enemies. Although the DLC has large amount of single player content, it offers no upgrades for the multiplayer mode.

Apart from single player career and quick match modes, R.B.I. Baseball 16 offers also a versus option for two players playing on one computer or console (it is unavailable on mobile devices).
