Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

RICO

RICO is an FPS game by Ground Shatter. Its atmosphere and plot were inspired by police movies of the 1980s and 1990s. You play as a brave cop, who decides to crack down on a powerful cartel all by himself. The maps in the game are randomly generated, giving you new challenges with each playthrough. A key aspect of the production are the mechanics of charging into locked rooms.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT: Free Edition

A hybrid of a third-person action and fight game prepared by Team Ninja, in which we control heroes known from the main installments of the Final Fantasy cycle. The production is a free-to-play version of the commercial edition of the title, which was released on PlayStation 4 in 2018. The title offers online team fights, as well as the possibility of clashes with a computer-based AI. After purchasing the available DLC we get access to more than 28 playable characters and feature mode.

This game is set in the universe created for the Front Mission series. The players assume the role of three heroes trapped in a war-torn Russian city. Left Alive presents the events in the third-person perspective.

Ape Out

An independent beat'em up game, which casts the player in the role of a mad gorilla that is trying to escape from captivity. The player's task is to complete subsequent, procedurally-generated corridors, as well as to deal with hordes of enemies, both soldiers and guards. The game is played from a top-down view and the only thing the protagonist can rely on is the power of his own muscles. With his hands, the gorilla crushes the enemies, but can also grab and throw them.

Anthem is a science fiction RPG with MMO elements developed by BioWare Edmonton, creators of games like the Dragon Age series and Mass Effect trilogy. The game takes place on an alien planet where humanity uses a gigantic wall to keep itself safe from monsters. We play as the so-called Freelancer, a person who goes behind the wall to study the planet and protect humanity from many potential dangers.

Metro Exodus is kind of an evolution of what we saw in the series' previous installments.
Crackdown 3

The third installment in a series of popular, open-world futuristic action games. Crackdown 3 introduces the franchise to the eighth-gen consoles. The game was created by Cloudgine – a British studio led by David Jones, who is the father of the series. Similar to the previous installments, the player is taken to a futuristic city of an open structure, assuming the role of a futuristic officer of the law who faces organized crime.

In addition, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Price of Survival gives us a new outfit, a pistol with silencer and Lara Croft's previously unavailable skill.
