Years later, the rights to the game have been acquired by Snail Games, who decided to reboot the game in 2016 with entirely new visuals, a different business model (now the player has to pay for the game only once), and a number of improvements to the game's mechanics. In Dark and Light, the players travel to a fantastical land of Ganareth, in which three factions fight for power.
