Developed by Canadian studio Beenox, third-person action game about adventures of the titular superhero. Dan Slott, the writer of The Amazing Spider-Man comic series, is responsible for the storyline. The main theme of the game revolves around an artifact called the Plaque of Order and Chaos which holds the structure of the whole reality in check. However, the board gets shattered and its parts land in four different dimensions. Spider-Man's task is to find the fragments of the artifact.

Iron Man 2 is a continuation of the action game released in 2008, which will be created under the responsibility of Griptonite Games and Sega Studios San Francisco development teams. The plot of the production loosely refers to the motifs of the film directed by Jon Favreau. Players direct the actions of Tony Stark and James Rhodes, who as Iron Man and War Machine have to face the villains who threaten the world.

The sequel to the 2006’s third-person action game which was created as a response to the popularity of the Grand Theft Auto series. The action of Saints Row 2 takes place several years after the events of the original, when its protagonist, wishing to take revenge on the traitors that made him lose his current influence, finds himself in serious trouble. Mechanics-wise, Saints Row 2 does not introduce too many novelties and bases on the tried solutions of the original.

A fun action game with a view from above, in which we eliminate hordes of undeads. The production refers in a loose way to American horrors and contains a lot of humorous accents (e.g. funny versions of zombies). The whole adventure was divided into six different stages and enriched with a large arsenal of weapons and bonuses.

A TPP action game set in a world inspired by Norse mythology. It was developed by Creative Assembly, the creators of the bestselling strategy game series, Total War. The player assumes the role of Skarin, a young warrior chosen by the gods of Asgard to protect the human realm, Midgard, against the undead, who were brought back to life by the goddess Hel, mistress of the underworld. She aims to destroy all the other gods and bring about the end of the world - the mythical Ragnarok.

A science-fiction first-person shooter developed by City Interactive, a studio from Bydgoszcz, Poland. The production draws inspiration from the FPS classics such as Unreal and Quake. In the distant future, humanity and a technologically advance alien race fight for an invaluable mineral—Promethium. When the aliens conquer the asteroid Deimos 875, which is rich in this raw material's deposits, an elite soldier is sent in.

One of the installments in action games series developed by Acquire studio. The story takes place in feudal Japan, in the Gishu Amana province, where a fierce battle between the rivaling clans takes place. The player assumes the role of a samurai and chooses his side in the conflict. It is worth mentioning that each path has a different ending. The basic of the gameplay is combat. The enemies can be defeated by using many types of melee weapon.

Silent Hill: Downpour is the eighth installment of the series of survival-horror action games released by Konami. The Slovak studio Vatra Games is responsible for the development of the title. Players play the role of Murphy Pendleton, a prisoner who manages to escape from the convoy and hide in the infamous town of Silent Hill. The game combines elements of action (fight against nightmarish monsters) with logical riddles.

Also known by the title Canis Canem Edit, Bully is a controversial action game developed by Rockstar Games. Originally, it was released for PlayStation 2, it was soon followed by Scholarship Edition for the next generation of consoles and PCs. The story takes place at the fictional Bullworth Academy, which combines an elite education facility with re-socialization grounds for juvenile offenders. The player assumes the role of a teenager who is trying to survive in these unusual circumstances.

The plot shows the events that took place before the Autobots and Deceptikony reached Earth. Developers from the High Moon studio have planned two solo campaigns (one for each faction) and several other fun options, including multiplayer mode.

According to the legends, a vault containing great treasures is located somewhere underneath the planet's surface, and groups of treasure hunters are ceaselessly searching for it.

The third core installment in a popular first person shooter series. Battlefield 3 was developed by Swedish studio DICE, an Electronic Arts subsidiary. The game is set during a modern-day conflict and the events are presented in the form of flashbacks as remembered by Henry Blackburn, an American soldier who tries to stop Islamic terrorists from detonating a nuke. The game features three playable characters, as well as various weapons and vehicles.
