Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. A fantasy turn-based strategy game and a spiritual successor to Chaos: The Battle of Wizards and Lords of Chaos, which were released in 1985 and 1999 respectively. It was developed by their creator, Julian Gollop, also known for such productions as Laser Squad and UFO: Enemy Unknown. You play as a beginning wizard, who duels other players on procedurally generated maps. Each player has to find and kill the Wizard King, having previously defeated all his minions.

While playing, we assume the role of a private military corporation’s owner and our task is to face the dangers.

Compared to the basic version of the game, the gameplay mechanics remain the same.

In the game, the player takes on the roles of the titular Minions that are traveling towards a holiday resort on a ship. When the vessel gets damaged, the characters land on a desert island where they decide to establish their own, tropical facility.

You can participate e.g. in Operation Dragoon in the 1944 France or one of the Battles of Monte Casino, called Operation Diadem. Moreover, Operation Torch also allows you to play through an alternate version of World War II, in which Hitler is killed in 1943, and the Third Reich is more powerful than in real life.
