Another installment in the popular series of puzzle games developed by King. Since 2012, the series has become extremely popular among mobile platform and Facebook users. Candy Crush Soda Saga expands the ideas known from the previous installments of the series. The main objective of the game is, as always, to combine the elements found on the board into groups of at least three objects of the same type. However, this time, in addition to the candies, the game also features sodas. One of the main tasks is to use them to fill the levels. The core mechanics remain the same: player must connect colored water in the bottle with a candy that has the same color. The task must be completed within a limited number of moves. The less moves are used, the bigger the score. The game features colorful graphics similar to its predecessors.

An unusual logic game enriched with elements associated with economic strategies and card games. Concrete Jungle was designed by the creators of MegaCity. The player assumes the role of a mayor whose task is to ensure dynamic development of a small town. Although this resembles a brief description of a typical economic strategy game, Concrete Jungle uses mechanics typical for logic and card games mainly. The player has their deck, which gets expanded gradually, and the cards represent particular buildings. Thus playing a card results in the building assigned to it appearing on the map. Each building affects its neighboring areas. For example, building a sewage treatment plant increases the price of land in the area, but parcels without connection to the plant will simultaneously get cheaper. The player's goal is to obtain a specified number of points from the inhabitants of a given section, which unlocks new places for construction. Concrete Jungle offers a story campaign, as well as a competition-based mode, which requires the player to achieve victory over the AI. One can also compete against other players or cooperate with them.

The title is based on the themes of The Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy comic book, although it tells a completely new story. Its action takes place in an alternative version of Lisbon which is inhabited not only by humans but also by other various, supernatural creatures. The latter have to abide by a special code. Failure to do so alarms special investigators who specialize in such cases. In The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizza Boy, we assume the role of Joao Vincente Mendonça (a werewolf detective) and Eurico (a pizza guy, Mendonça’s trainee). Our task is to solve a number of seemingly unconnected cases that with time can be pieced together into a coherent whole which reveals a significantly thicker scheme. The fun is based on exploration of the environment, collecting useful equipment, having conversations with non-player characters, and solving various puzzles. The title is characterized by polished graphics made with the use of the cel-shading technique.

An independent retro RPG, which combines elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died, leading to him quitting work as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he finds a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years. As befits a true RPG, in Pixel Noir, the players get to explore numerous locations, interact with NPCs, find clues, collect valuable items, and fight enemies. Combat is turn-based, nonetheless, it features certain arcade elements. The main protagonist is accompanied by other characters, each one exhibiting unique skills and utilized weapons. Pixel Noir delivers neutral and grim pixel-art visuals.

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job. In the game, we assume the role of the Postal Dude who hits the streets with an intent of murdering anyone who happens to stand, walk, or sit in his way. The title offers several various levels, in which the innocent civilians will be slaughtered with a vast arsenal of weapons of different caliber and purpose. The new version is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which translates into incomparably better graphics, prettier locations, and more detailed character models. It also offers a cooperation mode. Despite the changes to the technical side of the game, the developers managed to preserve the specific atmosphere of the original.

The new game, this time developed by the Codemasters company, abandons the third-person perspective in favor of an isometric view, a distinctive feature of the hack-and-slash genre. Furthermore, the game now features four heroes instead of one, including: warrior, necromancer, dwarf, and dark elf. The player's main objective is to release an unimaginable evil that will bring the entire world down to its knees. Gameplay consists of expoloration, combat, and puzzle solving. Each character has their own unique skills that can be enhanced over time. Moreover, you can use the help of several types of minions. Although it is possible to play solo, the game was designed mainly with the 4-person co-op mode in mind.

Construction Machines 2016 is based on two main aspects, the first one being the strategy – in this case, one gets to manage an entire enterprise, sign new contracts, and invest the money one has earned in order to unlock more profitable undertakings and some new locations. The second aspect is the simulation itself, where the players can operate numerous construction machines and construct, demolish, or maintain buildings with their own hands. Among other things, the players get at their disposal excavators, huge construction cranes, and dump trucks. What is worth mentioning, the player has to maintain and improve the aforementioned machines – in total, the game offers 40 upgrades to install on the vehicles. The entire experience becomes even more interesting with all the available tools, such as wrenches, hammers, and even some explosives. Construction Machines 2016 is based on a new technology and the 3D visuals present a relatively high-quality execution – especially the dynamic demolition system, which delivers satisfying animations of collapsing structures and other elements from the environment.

It is the second installment in a jRPG series - Project X Zone, published in 2012, in which players lead a team of characters from several popular franchises created by SEGA, Capcom, and Namco Bandai, including Resident Evil, Tekken, Megaman X, Devil May Cry, and Sakura Wars. The story features a fictional world combining token locations and buildings from the aforementioned games. Furthermore, players have a few hundreds unique characters at their disposal, ready to be added to the team. The gameplay is divided into two segments – the first one is presented in an isometric view and involves world exploration aimed at searching for suitable items and characters, it employs a turn-based system and each move on the world map requires a particular number of action points. When facing an opponent, however, the player is taken to a battlefield to control two characters and summon a third one to perform a special attack.

A spin-off of the popular RPG series by Capcom, started in 2004. Like in the previous games of the franchise, Monster Hunter Stories focuses on challenging fights against giant monsters, but offers a different approach to the well-known theme. We play as a young boy who sets out on a journey accompanied by the mascot of the series, a Felyne warrior. A one-man-one-cat team travels across a vast open world, performing various tasks and facing local monsters. As we progress through the story, our heroes will encounter bigger and bigger creatures, and defeating them will require proper equipment and the right tactic. The game presents different visuals than its full-scale predecessors: a very colorful graphics that make use of cel-shading.

The player must repel the attacks of the invaders while obtaining as much riches from the new location as possible. Similarly as in the first expansion, in addition to the main story campaign the expansion adds three new multiplayer maps and new challenge for the Strike mode. The developers also enriched the Endgame by providing the Guardians who have the highest experience levels with two additional missions: Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris. Among the novelties there is also a set of previously unavailable items, armors and weapons.

This state, however, was tainted by the sinister witch Hilda, whose ominous song gradually destroys the existing reality. Main protagonist of the game, knight Alto, is given the task of stopping her. In order to confront his opponent, the hero must recruit several other witches his team, all of them with their own combat songs. Gameplay is divided into two main segments: the world exploration is presented in a classic isometric perspective; when we encounter an enemy however, camera switches to a 3D view and tactical turn-based combat begins. Visually, Stella Glow is designed in a typical manga style, featuring super-deformed character models.

What is characteristic about Minions Paradise, are its eye-pleasing visuals that resemble the animated original. Similarly as in its predecessors, the action of the game takes place on the planet Pandora, featuring a post-apocalyptic setting. During the game player controls a four-person squad that consists of characters known from first Borderlands game. Each character has unique abilities and specializes in different type of firearm. The player’s arsenal oncludes shotguns, assault rifles, machine guns, and sniper rifles. The gameplay combines the elements of action games and RPGs with a strong focus placed on the former. Both main and side missions consist of traveling through the levels and eliminating large numbers of enemies. Among the latter there are gangs, mutated animals, and, from time to time, some stronger bosses. Between the missions player must manage his team – develop character abilities, buy new weapons and equipment etc. Due to the gaming platforms on which the game was released and due to the gameplay type, the action is shown in an isometric perspective.

In Perception, we play as a blind girl named Cassie, who tries to discover the mystery of a certain mansion, whose visions has been haunting her in her dreams for some time. It turns out that the place is haunted by a ghost, which has been terrorizing the inhabitants of the house, and now it targets Cassie. We explore the dark mansions and look for clues to reveal the dark past of the building. Due to her affliction, our heroine is unable to use any weapons, being armed only with her intellect and excellent hearing that provides her with a limited echolocation ability. The visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 4, consist mainly of black and white outlines of rooms and items, recreating the girl's unique perception.

The core of the gameplay is a dynamic, old school multiplayer competition in one of the three classic game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. We have eight unique and curiously designed weapons at our disposal. The game, inspired by the classics of the hard science-fiction genre (Alien, Outland, Total Recall and the like), is characterized by high quality graphics created using the cel shading technology.

Corpse Party: Blood Drive takes place after the events shown in Book of Shadows and concentrates on one of its protagonists, Ayumi Shinozaki. The girl's new adventure starts when her aunt visits her. She informs her that since centuries the duty of the Shinozaki family is to guard the mysterious Book of Shadows which, should it fall in the wrong hands, might lead the world to doom. The artifact is said to be hidden in an old mansion of her relatives and Ayumi embarks on a journey to find it. The mechanics of the game combine solutions used in previous installments of the series. The action is shown from an isometric perspective and the gameplay focuses on exploration, riddle solving and making decisions that impact the plot. Since the game was released on new generation of Sony handheld consoles, it features much better graphics, retaining its manga style, however.

A first-person perspective adventure game that combines elements of spy movies and horror. It is the first large game developed by the Polish studio Jujubee known mostly for its futuristic racing series Flashout. The story of the game focuses on the mysterious disaster of the Russian submarine K-141 Kursk which sank during the summer of 2000 on the Barents Sea. It was never determined what caused the incident. The player’s objective in the game is to discover what actually happened on the submarine and caused the death of more than one hundred members of the crew. The gameplay mechanics are similar to Alien: Isolation and the game focuses mostly on storytelling. The game has many spy plots and horror elements. The mysterious history of the Kursk submarine and suggestive tone of the production makes it very atmospheric.

Even though Dragon Blaze is mostly a single player game, it has some multiplayer elements. We can face other players in PvP or join them in four-person raids.

Syphon Filter 3 stands out from its predecessors in a slightly different way of narration and bonus arcade mini-games.

This installment is a mobile strategy game in which the player faces the Dark Knight himself and other law enforcers in Gotham city while trying to transform the metropolis into an actual criminal den. During the game the player assumes the role of a mafia boss who intends to become the king of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. As the game progress, the player is building and improving hideouts, recruiting new criminals and disciplining them so that they follow his orders. Due to player’s actions, the city becomes closer and closer to becoming the most dangerous place in the world. Supervillains known from the Batman universe help the player achieve his goals. Among them there are Harley Quinn, the Riddler and Killer Croc. What’s interesting, if the player’s criminal empire becomes large enough, he has the possibility to eliminate Batman himself.

A cooperative MOBA taking place in a post-apocalyptic universe. The players take part in a brutal reality show that follows a group of peacekeepers sent by a cruel dictator to quell a local uprisings. As a result, we engage in bloody extermination of local rebels who attempt to save their home towns. We are given eight varied characters who are equipped with unique abilities, allowing them to, for example, electrocute, drown, or bisect their enemies. Moreover, the heroes can equip gear from a selection of over a hundred items that offer useful bonuses in combat. The game is characteristic for its violence-heavy content which is offered in a mild and palatable form, as well as stylized visuals and a large dose of unusual humor.

Far Cry 4: Valley of the Yetis is the first story DLC released for the fourth installment of the best-selling FPS series Far Cry. The game takes place in Himalayas, in the titular Yeti Valley, where a helicopter with our hero crashes. In this cold and inhospitable land, Ajay Ghale, known from the base game, will have to face new enemies, spearheaded by the brutal local cultists and mighty Yetis. That, however, is only the beginning of a darker story. It soon turns out that the real evil awaits our hero in the heart of the mysterious valley. The expansion, available for the season pass owners or separately, gives the players additional couple of hours of gameplay in the Far Cry 4 universe. Valley of the Yetis can be played alone or in co-op, where our protagonist is accompanied by Hurk, a character known from the base game.

The Bright Lord is the second DLC to Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor developed by Monolith Productions. The expansion takes us to the distant past where we play as Celebrimbor. Remembering how much the Dark Lord hurt his family, Celerbrimor declares war on Sauron and tries to stop him from getting his hands on the Ring of Power. Unlike Talion, the protagonist of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - The Bright Lord can use the power of the One Ring. He can use it to mind control his enemies, force them to attack their allies, and even become invisible. All of those things provide us with many possible tactical approaches to combat. Moreover, Celebrimbor is a much better archer. The Bright Lord requires the base game to be playable.

A fantasy jRPG featuring a turn-based combat system, based on the popular Battle Chasers comic book series. The game was developed by Airship Syndicate, founded by the creators of the Darksiders game, including the creative director and the comic's author, Joe Maureira. The game is set in a fantasy universe, where magic and science coexist, and you play as the characters known from the comics, such as the warrior Garrison, a little girl called Gully, or the golem Calibretto. Battle Chasers: Nightwar focuses on the plot and the exploration of the expansive randomly-generated dungeons. The game also features many jRPG-style battles, taking place in turns on two separate screens. The visuals are colorful and detailed, which makes them resemble the original comics.

A humorous arcade game by indie studio Nitrome and a remake of the flash game of the same name. You play as a wizard, whose task is to defend a castle from airborne invaders; you lose the moment the first invader lands on the castle walls. In Magic Touch: Wizard for Hire you eliminate the enemies by drawing letters, symbols, and shapes on their balloons to puncture them. Since the game becomes harder the longer you play, there are special spells you can unlock if you spend some of the coins you gather during combat. The spells allow you to e.g. slow time, turn your foes into frogs or create a wall of fire. The game utilizes a free-to-play model.

An retro-stylized action adventure game with survival elements, developed by the Rocket Games studio. In Death Road to Canada the player's task is to travel the eponymous route from Florida to the city of Ontario in Canada and to survive the hordes of zombies attacking us along the way. In the game we control a team of up to five characters (human or animal), each of which has its own unique virtues and vices. Therefore, apart from having to search for other survivors, constantly gather supplies, and eliminate subsequent hosts of living dead, an extremely important element of the game is ensuring that our group members won't quarrel with each other. Gameplay is undoubtedly more attractive due to the fact that almost all of its elements are randomly generated, so each time we start the game a different story awaits us. The game features old-fashioned pixel graphics, reminiscent of the classic arcade hits.

An action-filled platform game with logic puzzle elements. The title is based on the license of a popular animated TV series - SpongeBob SquarePants - and continues the story shown in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. In the game, developed by Behaviour Interactive, one assumes the role of the titular sponge and his bizarre friends to restore the former glory of their underwater metropolis - Bikini Bottom. Gameplay mechanics build on completing consecutive platform and puzzle challenges, during which a player has to use the unique abilities of all the characters in the game. To move the story forward, the main protagonists can activate their superhero forms that equip them with additional abilities. A player can do all this across twelve elaborate levels, featuring visuals known from the animated TV series. Another positive feature of the game is the omnipresent humor.
