The second, after Mines of Moria, expansion to the MMORPG – The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. This time around, the players get to visit the Mirkwood and under the command of Galadriel and Celeborn fight not only orcs but also other monsters such as giant spiders. The list of new locations features the stronghold of Dol Guldur hiding countless dangers that the players have to face in groups of three, six, or twelve – the most prominent threat being the King of Nazguls.

The story of this add-on focuses on the powerful wizard known to many as Saruman, who is trying to come into possession of the Ring of Power. During the game, the player can visit new locations such as the gigantic tower of Orthanc, from where the wizard issues the orders for his minions, territories of Dunland inhabited by belligerent Dunlendings, and the Gap of Rohan.

This add-on takes players to the titular Mines of Moria – the largest and most dangerous underground complex in all Middle-Earth. Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is the second expansion to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, an MMORPG developed by Square-Enix. The newest expansion allows the players to travel beyond Eorza, to the territories occupied by the Garlean Empire. Stormblood also definitively ends the game's support for PlayStation 3. The biggest addition to the game introduced by Stormblood are the new locations. We will visit Ala Mhigo, travel to the new continent Othard and Doma Kingdom that lies there.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited - Morrowind gives us an opportunity to visit the island of Vvardenfell, which is located in the titular province of Morrowind. The plot revolves around a mysterious sickness which has taken its toll on Vivec - a member of the Trinity of divine entities that have guarded this part of the world.

A free-to-play MMORPG fantasy game featuring micro-transactions. The fantastic setting of Titan Siege combines the elements taken from Norse, Greek, and Egyptian mythologies. The players assume the roles of heroes, who defend humanity from Titan factions waging war against one another. The journey begins with the character creation – the player can choose sex, appearance and combat stats of his protagonist.

Monster Hunter Frontier Z is another version of the Japanese MMORPG released in 2007 for PC. The game takes the players to a fantasy world where they are given the task of hunting down monsters. Each of the players controls their own, self-made hero. They can choose from a dozen or so classes (every class uses different equipment and has different combat style and tactics). Combat is turn-based. We can use cold steel and ranged weapons while on the hunt.

The first large story add-on to The Elders Scrolls Online by ZeniMax Online Studios. We are taken to the eponymous capital of the Cyrodiil province, which is under siege from the forces of the daedric prince Molag Bal. Players are given the task of dealing with the invaders and bringing back the order. Expansion brings new location, divided into six smaller districts filled with new NPCs and enemies, as well as a vast number of tasks both for PvE and PvP model.

The game’s plot is not an original one, and tells the story of a group of warriors fighting against an ancient evil that grew stronger having spent long years in slumber, and now threatens the entire world. The title doesn’t deviate from typical features of the genre, and the fun boils down mainly to exploration and performing quests that involve fighting various opponents.

Another large DLC for the 2014's MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. The Thieves Guild expansion tells a story of the eponymous organization from Abah’s Landing, hunted by a mercenary group known as the Iron Wheel, who are trying to bring down the Thieves Guild in retaliation for a bold, yet tragic heist. The players become new recruits of the Guild and have to help the organization restore its reputation.
