A science-fiction, sandbox action game with a focus on multiplayer mode. It was developed by Hello Games, a company known for Joe Danger. The game is set in the distant future in the yet uncharted parts of the cosmos, and the gameplay is presented in two forms. We explore the corners of the universe piloting a spacecraft like we do in typical space-sim games. Upon landing on a newly discovered planet, the game switches to first-person view. The devs emphasize the complete freedom given to the player during exploration. While visiting places featuring different animals, plants, or even varying compositions of the planet's atmosphere, we can focus on exploration, gathering raw materials, or fighting against various predators. An important element of the game is the system of the world's procedural generation.

Seventh major installment in the cult series of survival horrors created by Capcom and launched in year 1996 on the PlayStation console. Subsequent parts of this long-standing series concentrate on a battle the humanity wages against a deadly virus which transforms those it infects into bloodthirsty monsters. The players accompany several characters who appeared in various installments of Resident Evil over the years as well as in many side installments. The game, being faithful to tradition, shows the action in third person perspective and the gameplay is based on exploration, fighting enemies and solving occasional logical puzzles. The game has a horror atmosphere which, across subsequent installments in the series, was gradually reduced in favor of action elements. Resident Evil 7 combines the best aspects of the old and new installments and is the first main Resident Evil game created for the eight generation consoles.

An arcade flight simulator and continuation of the popular series published by Bandai Namco. Like its predecessors, Ace Combat 7 is set in alternative timeline, in which there are different countries, and humans have constructed unique flying units. Game focuses on the story, which we learn both through events during missions and many cutscenes. The gameplay is mostly arcade, with only a few simulation’s features. Due to that, realism has to move over and make space for dynamic and eye-catching sky fights, including battles with powerful bosses. Each available plane flies slightly differently, resulting in a more varied experience. Ace Combat 7 offers a story campaign for one player and multiplayer mode. Developers made use of Unreal Engine 4 and also added support of PlayStation VR goggles.

A collection of two refurbished titles from a series of futuristic racing games for PlayStation 4. WipEout: Omega Collection consists of two titles: WipEout HD, with an expansion – Fury, and WipEout 2048. The player takes control of an anti-gravity vehicle and takes part in various competitions, racing against the clock as well as other pilots. The individual machines require dexterity and some knowledge of their specifications: handling, speed, or durability. Once the race begins, its free-for-all - we can harass other participants and get harassed ourselves. The tracks are very complicated, often twisted, or decreasing in width, while our vehicles quickly accelerate to haze-inducing speeds. As a result, having a favorite vehicle helps a lot. WipEout: Omega Collection offers a number of gameplay modes divided between the games included in the set, including split-screen and online modes. All titles have been upscaled to 4K, and run at 60 frames per second.

A racing game created by Artefacts Studio. It is the fourth full-fledged installment in a popular series developed by Delphine Software in the years 1997-2001. Moto Racer 4 remains faithful to the premise of the classic installments, focusing on a dynamic racing experience with arcade physics and paying no attention to the so-called fair-play. The player participates in subsequent motorcycle competitions divided into off-road and asphalt variants. In the latter, aspects such as traffic or collisions with opponents were taken into account. Within these two divisions, the player will find a wide set of characters - each represents a unique riding style. The game offers more than a few different modes and the overall number of them is quite impressive. The game includes many bike models created specifically for particular competitions: from classic cross bikes to high-power beasts belonging to the superbike category. What's more, the game features an extensive customization component - both the bikes and riders can be customized.

The mechanics of Dead or Alive: Xtreme 3 are completely different than the ones in the fighting games – it is a compilation of several arcade minigames. Each of these minigames has completely different principles. The player can participate in beach volleyball duels that – despite being based on real rules – are purely action based. Rock climbing requires the player to press (in correct order) the buttons appearing on the screen. Among other available modes there are card game and beach running. As the player proceeds through the game, they unlock new content like costumes for the female characters. In addition to that, the girls can participate in various other activities like dating and taking pictures in Photo Paradise mode.

The action of Rigs: Mechanized Combat League takes place in the future, and the players take part in the eponymous futuristic sport tournament, sitting in the cockpits of armored mechs and fighting one another on special arenas. Generally, the gameplay combines elements of arena FPS with basketball. The participants compete for points which are scored where they manage to jump through a big band at the right moment. To achieve this, though, it is necessary to clear the way to the goal with the use of the available weapons. At the same time, we have to prevent the enemy from reaching our own goal. There are 20 kinds of fast and agile mechs at players’ disposal. Each of these is suited for slightly different sort of play. The game features a single player campaign but multiplayer matches remain at its core.

The production features several hundreds of outfits and accessories for the characters, and completing an outfit matching a song gets you a bonus. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X utilizes the same graphic engine as the other games in the franchise, although its visuals are better.

A beat’em up title with side view developed by independent studio Paw Print Games. Bloody Zombies is set in London, a city infested by a plague of the titular undead. The only hope for the city comes in form of four heroes who have nothing to lose and try to clear the streets of the metropolis using their fists and more or less improvised weapons. We move towards the right side of the screen while eliminating hordes of enemies, with distinctive and powerful mutated bosses. The combat system is based on brutal and spectacular attacks that can be chained to create even more powerful combos. However, the key to success lies in using surrounding objects along with active and passive powers of each hero. We can play both by ourselves and in cooperation mode for up to four players. All of this is presented in two-dimensional, cartoonish visuals.

A first-person action game and at the same time a rather peculiar superhero simulator - Megaton Rainfall is the debut project from the independent Spanish developer Pentadimensional Games. The action of the game is set more or less in the modern times, when the Earth falls victim to an invasion of aliens who want to exterminate all humans. The player assumes the role of an immortal superhero exhibiting supernatural abilities. They are tasked with facing the alien aggressors. Players observe the action from the first-person perspective, and the gameplay revolves around the exploration of the open world, completing various missions, and fighting hordes of enemies. On their way, the players are bound to encounter armed spaceships, as well as more powerful mechanical walkers. Due to his supernatural strength, the main protagonist can demolish the city infrastructure, hover in mid-air, and fly faster than the speed of light. The game is compatible with the Virtual Reality headgear; however, it is not necessary in order to play Megaton Rainfall.

Due to its low difficulty level, Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games is suitable even for the youngest players. The game offers colorful, 3D visuals that imitate the style of the original TV series, as well as Adventure Time’s distinctive absurd humor.

The story campaign comprises of numerous, varied missions that culminate in the titular Battle for Gate 18. Between subsequent levels, the player returns to the base in order to cater for the soldiers and take care of technological development. Although the game is played from an isometric view, switching to the first-person perspective is possible when the player wants to walk around the buildings and among their subordinates. A funny surgeon simulator developed by Bossa Studios with VR headsets in mind. The production is an expanded version (with more camera manipulation options that allow us to watch the operation at any angle) of Surgeon Simulator from 2013. The player assumes the role of the eponymous specialist who has serious problems with movement and skillful use of the instruments. It often leads to mistakes during operations which result in death of patients. The game takes place in varied environments: from a hospital room, through a space ship, to absolute darkness. Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality is characterized by well-made cartoonish graphics, thanks to which the sights, such as an opened ribcage or an exposed brain, don’t sicken the players.

A simple first-person survival horror adventure game and the debut project from Shawn Hitchcock, an independent designer. In Emily Wants to Play, we assume the role of a pizza delivery guy who gets imprisoned late in the evening in a suspiciously-looking house. Inside, a deceased girl named Emily with her three dolls wants to play a ghastly game with the unfortunate man. The player’s task is to survive a night in the haunted house and solve the dark secret of that place. Each level is equal to an hour of real time, starting from 11 PM to 6 AM. Mechanics-wise, Emily Wants to Play draws inspiration from such productions as Slender: The Arrival or Five Nights at Freddy’s. In Emily Wants to Play, we can move around the entire house and interact with various objects. Should we encounter a threat, we have to flee since the game does not feature combat. Despite average graphics, the title manages to build a dense atmosphere of horror.

A psychological thriller adventure game developed by Funhouse (a division of Ubisoft Montreal) in cooperation with SpectreVision. The title debuted on multiple gaming platforms, but only PC and PlayStation 4 versions support virtual reality goggles and dedicated motion controllers. In Transference the player is tasked with solving a mystery of a family whose members are facing various obsessions. The player will attempt to help them by entering their minds and examining their memories recreated in virtual reality. During the game the player will discover their secrets and weaknesses and he will obtain evidence that can be used in various ways. It is worth mentioning that the story is non-linear, and its ending depends on the decisions made by the player.

First-person perspective horror game designed for virtual reality headsets and a prequel to the other work of Supermassive Games studio, Until Dawn. We play as a patient of the Blackwood Pines Sanatorium mental hospital, 60 years before the events of the previous game. The protagonist is tormented by nightmares and can’t remember how he got here. He must unveil the grim mystery of the place, despite the fact he keeps getting injected with all sorts of medications that cause him to experience strange visions. The Inpatient lets us experience horrifying scenes, explore dark locations and interact with characters we meet. There are also decisions to make during crucial moments of the story that affect its development. The Inpatient focuses on immersion, using FPP view and letting us choose dialogue options by reading aloud one of a few available on the screen.
