Mission 23 - Hotel Assassination general information

Way to unlock: You need to complete main mission 22 (Fame or Shame). Some time after the completion of this mission, you will receive a message from Lester, in which he will ask you to meet him. You can now set out towards the promenade neighboring the beach (letter L on the world map).

Playable characters: Franklin

Additional information: This mission is entirely concerned with the performance of the first paid assassination. I strongly recommend that you get well prepared for this one, because, quite exceptionally, you will not have access to the best weapons, nor will the game suggest sufficiently early which items you should take along. I recommend that you visit an Ammu-Nation store to purchase a sniper rifle, and additionally, equip it with silencer and a better scope.

Mission 23 - Hotel Assassination full walkthrough

The starting point for the mission

You meet Lester in the promenade neighboring the Vespucci Beach. During the conversation, you will learn that Lester wants Brett Lowrey, the President for the Bilkinton Research company, assassinated. The man is currently staying at the Von Crastenburg hotel in the Rockford Hills district. The bad news is that he has his own bodyguards.

The alley to the underground parking lot

Get into your car and go to the hotel where there is Lowrey. The best way to approach the hotel is by taking the narrow alley between buildings. Drive into the multi-storey parking lot and park your car in the marked area. That is when the game will start the countdown, and you will have 90 seconds to murder Lowrey.

You will be granted a lot of freedom when it comes to assassinating Lowrey and, I recommend against a direct confrontation, which will, unnecessarily, end up in a shootout, and may also result in a police pursuit. It will be much better to eliminate the target using the sniper rifle (this is required if you want to complete this mission in 100%), whose purchase I have recommended at the very beginning of this mission. Climb up the stairs to reach the second level of the parking lot (on the top level there is a very high wall), and position yourself in the spot shown in the screenshot.

Target the man and fire

Aim the sniper rifle at the black SUV and wait for Lowrey to appear in the area (he can approach from any side so, there is no ideal position to take the shot). Try to kill the marked target (pink shirt) before he manages to get into the car and flee.

You need to leave the assassination site

If you are equipped with a suppressed rifle and took your shot from one of the parking lot's upper levels, you will not be spotted by Lowrey's bodyguards. Otherwise, you should expect to have a fight with them (use the supports and cars in the form of covers, which may also be joined by the police. Regardless of how things go, you need to get away from this area. Receive a phone call from Lester, who will inform Franklin that the reward for the completion of the contract, as well as the keys for the estate in Vinewood Hills, has already been transferred.

Rewards and challenges in mission 23 - Hotel Assassination

Rewards for the completion of the mission:

1. 9000 dollars
2. Franklin's new estate, with all its activities, unlocked
3. The garage at Franklin's new estate unlocked

Requirements to complete the mission in 100%:

1. Sniper Boy - you need to assassinate the target using the sniper rifle.
