Mission 5 - Complications general information

Way to unlock: You need to complete Main mission 3 (Repossession). Visit Simeon Yetarian's car dealership again (letter S on the world map).

Playable characters: Franklin, Michael

Additional information: IT is another, quite unique, mission. Its first part will get you acquainted with quite simple mechanics of sneaking. Its second part is even more interesting in that it introduces Michael into the main campaign mode, and tutors you on fighting melee fights. To the extent it is possible, I recommend that you practice melee fighting beforehand, to avoid problems with completing this mission in 100%.

Mission 5 - Complications full walkthrough

Reach the car dealership and approach Simeon Yetarian, who should be staying in front of the building. After you watch a cutscene, go to the Rockford Hills district (the Northwestern part of Los Santos). On your way there, listen to the phone talk with Simeon. Stop after you find yourself near the villa that you need to steal the vehicle from. Locate the gate shown in the above screenshot, hop over it and land at the premises of the estate.

The gardener

Start by pressing the analog stick, so Franklin can start sneaking. Along your way to the estate, you will probably notice the gardener working on the left and, although it is absolutely viable to walk around this character, I recommend that you sneak up from behind to him and knock him down. It is one of the requirements to receive the 100% status after the completion of the mission.

An open window on the first floor

Do not attempt to use the main entrance to the villa, because it is locked. Instead, go to the right of the entrance, to reach the gardener's car (the above screenshot). Climb onto the roof of the car, and then onto the fragment of the roof. Performing both of these actions will allow you to reach the open window on the villa's upper floor.

Garage entrance

Stop after you reach a small bathroom on the upper floor and wait for the young woman to go to her room. Go towards the stairs that lead to the ground floor. Turn left here and approach carefully the woman, who is flirting right now with the tennis instructor. At the first opportunity, turn left again, which will allow you to reach the garage. Get into the SUV parked here (Karin BeeJay XL).

Carefully, drive out of the garage, and from the estate and drive towards Simeon's dealership. On your way there, you are up for an unexpected encounter with Michael and, if you want to take a better look at him, press the button that the game prompts you to. Complete your drive to the dealership and stop near the circle marked by the game. After you watch another cutscene, move the car, you need to cut through the wall of glass shown in the above screenshot.

Perform dodges and wait for opportunities to land a blow

Soon, you will cut to Michael and you will have to fight a melee fight. If it is your first fight, you necessarily need to get acquainted with the information displayed on the screen, concerning the buttons used in fights. Start by locking onto Simeon and start performing dodges, while waiting for the convenient moment to land a blow. After you have inflicted enough damage to the car dealership owner, the mission will end.

Rewards and challenges in mission 5 - Complications

Rewards for the completion of the mission:

1. 300 dollars (Franklin)
2. Michael character unlocked
3. New activities n the world map unlocked

Requirements for the completion of the mission in 100%:

1. Time - you need to finish this mission within 5 minutes. Try not to lose too much time while sneaking and while fighting Simeon at the end of this mission.
2. Can't Touch This - Michael cannot take any damage during the melee fight. The key to success are, naturally, correctly performed dodges.
3. Dirt Nap - You need to sneak attack the gardener staying in the estate.
